Brilliant service from start to finish - efficient; competitive quote; great comms from Kylie - put me at ease when I was stressing about being disorganised - the removal team of 3 arrived on time; were good company and sorted me out in no time - Majik and his band of merry men packed and moved me in no time; I would highly recommend Clockwork to anyone considering a move.

Couldn’t fault clockwork. They made our move stress-free and seamless. From carefully packing up all our belongings the day before to arriving early the next day to move us out on time for completion and moving us back in to our new home! The service was efficient, professional and staff were friendly and hardworking. Thanks all that were involved. Don’t know how we would have done it without you!

Utter nightmare, avoid especially if in ‘a chain’.
I phoned C&G Ayres, Reading, a local company who had done my last house move. But instead I got Clockwork, south London!
I had a burst pipe which flooded the house so I was grateful that they had immediate availability to take out the dry items before the condensation wrecked them. The surveyor attended quickly to assess ‘the job’ which was an unusual one given the flood. There were 2 simple rules for the men when they arrived: (1) leave anything that is wet, and (2) leave all electrical items as they would probably be written off.
Both rules were ignored and I’m STILL unpacking damp mouldy items. Some electrical items I set aside on top of cabinets, to be left for assessment, disappeared when only the CONTENTS of the cabinets were to be packed. When I asked their whereabouts I was told they had been packed.
Yet days later I found the drinks cabinet was still full, as only the glasses had been packed. Ditto a kitchen drawer.
I had no water in the house so no working toilets, which I explained at the start of, and during the day. Yet someone decided to use the bathroom toilet anyway. Leaving me to clear up the mess when the smell alerted me several days later.
On their final visit to collect items I had the misfortune to have the bald, bearded driver (“Gobby”). He had either missed the Customer Service training or ignored what was being taught. His attitude and behaviour were appalling from the outset. He was unbelievably rude and showed no respect for me or my belongings.
He initially tried to convince me that it wasn’t on their work sheet to empty my garage. When that argument failed he said there wasn’t going to be room in the lorry. A colleague corrected him and said there was room. So then he said it would leave the lorry overloaded…
His comment to the effect that it would take them ages to unload everything at the new house and he wanted to be ‘home before midnight’ revealed his true motives. The less they collected, the earlier he could return home.
He said they hadn’t brought boxes to pack any more items, yet boxes appeared. He also said they wouldn’t take the alcohol bottles. When I explained his colleagues had wrapped & packed bottles on their previous visit, he accused me of unwrapping the bottles still on the racks! It transpired that they didn’t bring any wrapping paper with them.
As he then pulled items off the racking in my garage he was seen THROWING ITEMS on top of the bottles he had declined to pack.
I later found the base to the food blender lying on its side in the garage. The glass top is missing.
I later found Gobby lounging on one of my leather recliner chairs, placed in the road behind the lorry, whilst a colleague was sitting smoking a cigarette on the other. They had a pile of blankets in the van but neither thought to cover the chairs before using them.
They also failed to wrap the leather stools before loading them and 2 stools have multiple indentations from where heavy items were placed on top of them.
The loading experience was stressful but nothing compared to the ‘moving in’.
All it required was for the men to take 5 minutes to get the dozen or so shelving racks put in place around the walls. Then heavy boxes could go onto the heavy duty racks with lighter items on the ordinary racks. But no, my requests were ignored or met with rude comments from Gobby and his young hoody wearing sidekick. They were in a hurry to offload and get home.
So now I have a full double garage with several almost empty racks sitting in the middle of piles of boxes. As I am registered disabled I will have to pay some helpers to clear the garage, gets the racking in place then reload. All because Gobby wanted to leave asap and none of his mates had the courage to stand upto him.
Someone also opened windows in most of the rooms in the house, then boxes were piled in front so I couldn’t reach the windows to close them. I spent 2 hours just moving heavy boxes so I could close the windows. Now I’m battling sciatica.
The men showed no consideration for neighbours in the Cul de sac. They parked a lorry on a neighbour’s driveway and gave the gentleman ‘back chat’ when asked to move. Later the gentleman’s daughter had to ask again for them to get the lorry off her driveway so she could park there. There was space a 100 yards up the road which could have been used, but someone was too inconsiderate to park there.
Other neighbours struggled to squeeze past as Gobby didn’t bother to park the lorry close to the kerb.
As for the Office admin, they knew this was an insurance funded move. Yet they phoned me to take payment immediately then wrote saying they wouldn’t do the move unless paid in advance!
I’m told I have 7 days to unpack a house & garage full of boxes and notify Clockwork of issues or they aren’t liable for damage! An exclusion clause in T&Cs

They say that moving is one of the most stressful experiences in life. Not so with Clockwork! The team was fantastic! They took great care packing my things, including special artwork, were professional, on time, worked extremely hard and were patient and understanding of my concerns. I never want to have to move again, but if I do, they're my team! Thanks!

Really helpful company. Easy to get a quote, competitively priced, polite, efficient, friendly. Everything that needed to be transported was packed and moved with no hassel and all made it to my new home in one piece and they came to collect the packing boxes once I had unpacked. Couldn't have been better.

Nice guys and efficient service.
But they did not put all the boxes in the correct rooms at the destination address.
And I was surprised to get a bill for over £90 of 'damaged boxes'...on a removal which cost £3.5K.
It seemed a bit petty to me. I felt that if we were prepared to live with a rushed service from them; then they could live without an extra £90.

The team we had moving us were great. Our move was done over two days and the team arrived early and got straight to work loading our house. I took care of everything, adding additional protection to thing when it was needed. On the second day, they arrived when they said they would, installed floor protection throughout my house and unloaded in no time at all. Really impressive. And not a single breakage or any damage whatsoever. One lesson I learnt was not to book in a date too early as changing it within 10 days of moving is very expensive unless you buy a cancellation wavier which can only be used once.
