Parking Insurance with no Selvrisiko is not what it seems.
I was sold a specific type of car insurance that had no self-risk for any damages that occurred while the car was parked. In theory, this sounded fantastic, given I live in Frederiksberg, and am often parked on busy streets. In practice, I've taken my car in for repairs of only things which must have happened while the car was parked (because I didn't cause them), mostly scratches and dings, and a single repair has been claimed as not covered and I've gotten a bill for over 5.000kr. They have thrown a lot of theories at me about how it could have happened, gaslighting me and implying that I caused it. This doesn't line up at all with what I was sold when I signed up for insurance at Codan (I was reassured many times that the parking insurance was a full coverage deal and a great, unparalleled, offer), so this is highly disappointing.
