The only show the current month for rewards and wipe the previous months clean so you can't find your rewards. Didn't honor all the purchases made in the holiday months. Very dissatisfied. Stick with Rakuten

Received an error when trying to activate cash back. I emailed customer service about it and received this vague reply:
"While researching your request, it appears that during a routine security review, your account was identified for activity that may not follow the requirements outlined in our Cash Back Rewards Promotion Terms and Terms of Use, specific to suspicious activity. As a result, your account has been suspended, and you will be unable to participate in RetailMeNot's Cash Back Program while your account remains in this state. Regrettably, we cannot provide additional details of your account suspension, and we apologize for the inconvenience."
It's clearly copy and past and the only way to appeal it is to:
"-First and last name
-List of all email addresses associated with your RetailMeNot accounts
-Contact Phone Number
-Detailed description of account activity related to RetailMeNot’s Cash Back Offers over the last 30 days
-List out any purchases made through RetailMeNot’s Cash Back program that have been returned"
The above is an insane amount of information to have to provide without being provided specifics of the alleged infraction to begin with. I also had over $40 in pending cash back that has vanished to all of $0.21. Unbelievable and what a sham they've turned out to be! I've referred several friends and family members and will stick with Rakuten from here on out.

So. They start to offer direct cashback from different stores. And you know - that was one of the best experiences (I have tried a lot of cash-back services, trust me).
1. NO MINIMUM amount to withdraw. You got a few dollars - transfer it to your Venmo \ PP in a few seconds. Don't need to wait till you will have 10-15-20$ as many other services do.
2. They pay. As with many other cashback companies, most times have a lot of restrictions (type of products, time of purchase, and many others). Same stores from Retailmenot - I got all cash back without exceptions. Like it!
3. No one missing cash back (yet). Withdrawal a few hundred at this moment.
So hope they will continue the same service in the future too.

(THIS PROBLEM HAS BEEN RESOLVED I HAD TO EMPTY THE CACHE ETC. ON MY COMPUTER) Waited a year to redeem my over $90 in rewards and was given a repeated "error message" when trying to do so. The bulk of their reviews on several internet sites consists of 1 Star ratings. According to many of them my rewards will now magically disappear altogether. My advice: get a Capital One credit card and use their massive cash back rewards offers.

4.5 out of 5.0 Trust Pilot Stars.
Been using RetailMeNot for cashback for nearly 4 years now.
Pros:
Most purchases track without an issue.
RMN rates are competitive; on some retailers, their rates are the best among top choices for click-through cashback sites.
RMN sends e-mails when an offer is activated, sends "a retailer let us know you made purchase" type e-mails, and also sends when cashback is ready and available e-mails as well. This makes the tracking process for the end user much easier.
When needed, the customer service is top notch. Ticket creation process is simple, and responses are usually within 12 to 24 hours. Wish all cashback sites were like this. 5 TrustPilot stars for customer service, no question.
Cons:
We use one retailer regularly that has issues with tracking - about 10 to 20% of those transactions do not track or track incorrectly. Can't know where the fault is, but we encourage RMN to investigate this retailer more thoroughly every time we open a ticket.
Final thoughts:
Notice a lot of the reviews are surrounding coupon usage - especially the negative ones. Aside from the occasional coupon from RMN, I cannot attest to the validity of the issues with the coupons, other than to say that a lot of the coupon codes are user-submitted, and yes, sometimes, they do not work. All user-submitted coupon sites function in this manner, and its the responsibility of the end-user to be aware of this and its caveats.
Bottom line: if you're looking for a decent cashback site, RetailMeNot is a solid choice. But the customer service is what sets them apart. It's among the top choices for cashback sites in terms of the customer service provided.

I was not able to get any coupons to work when I recently purchased a laptop from Lenovo. However, I was able to get a 10% cash back offer.
Sounds cool, right?
A day after getting an email "Lenovo has verified your purchase!" suddenly, my new never used before RetailMeNot account was flagged for suspicious activity. Fine, I reached out to Customer Care providing a reciept, and a screenshot with the system info and timestamp of me replying to try to get that decision appealed.
I was told that they are unable to appeal it because they outsource those decisions to a "Third party risk management company" and they are unable to tell me why I was flagged, only that I am suspended from all cash back offers. They hope I'll continue using them and building history... blah blah.
Later, they did another audit, and corrected it, allowing the cash back offers to go through!
Updated my review on 8/9

coupons used to work in the beginning. none of them do anymore. pretty sure it started out as a genuine company, then just got bought out by the big companies.
they don't want to lose ANY profit margin whatsoever.

[Problem Solved] RetailMeNot's unjustified cashback cancellations inflict an emotional betrayal on customers. It's disheartening when a platform we trust disregards our loyalty without any valid explanation. We deserve transparency and empathy. Let's demand better treatment and consider alternatives that value our satisfaction and trust
The support team has solved my issue and returned my cash back!

It's ok for coupon codes. They work about 25% of the time. The benefits of having an account on Retailmenot are minimal. They have cash back options, which I've used successfully. I returned items from one of the orders one time, and Retailmenot flipped out and suspended my account.
I opened a new account with a different email address, used it for years, and now it says my password is wrong and keeps giving me errors when I follow the reset password links.

Previously I had balance issues and support was quick to resolve it and fix the balance so I have changed my 1 star review to a 5 star. So I am surprised with other reviews saying there was no support.

Their website and app are legit and I have gotten plenty of cash back. However I have tried reaching their support team and nobody ever replied. I simply want to know if, when clicking on the cash back link to go to a merchant’s website, if I have the app installed on my phone and it automatically opens up the merchant app after I click on that link, does RMN have the ability to track my app purchase? Or do I need to go to the company website? Since I’m not sure it will track it in the merchant app, I end up deleting the merchant app first so that I can complete my purchase on the merchant website, just in case there’s no merchant app tracking. I’m frustrated they don’t have this answer readily available and that nobody has answered me. One more small thing. When I’m in the app and I transfer my cash to PayPal, the “OK” button that appears after my money has been transferred either doesn’t respond to being pressed on, or a stupid captcha appears after that. It’s really annoying. Please fix this.

My daughter is a nurse and needed new scrubs for Christmas. I selected a few on wearfigs.com and added them to my cart. When I was ready to to purchase, i entered the code from RETAILMENOT and was excited to see that all items were discounted by 20%. I then entered my personal information on the next page and then, suddenly, that code was no longer valid. I tried to enter it again, along with others from RETAILMENOT, and it errored out saying that codes cannot be used at this time. SCAM!!! I wonder if this is some plot to lure you in and hope consumers will continue with the purchase without the discount.

It’s painfully obvious that many things have really gotten bad over the last 2 years. Retailmenot is no exception. Been a pleased member forever but in the last week I’ve gotten hosed twice. Customer service didn’t bother to respond in 1 case and just “Passed the Buck” in the other case. Aside from the $55 in rewards I should have received…What’s most frustrating is the time wasted chasing answers afterwards and missed opportunities. Consumers could have used other Cashback sites if they would have known the offers were not going to be honored. It’s a shame that good things don’t last forever. I won’t be rolling the dice with them again for awhile.
Response to your response;
Of course I’ve reached out to Costco. Several times in fact. The point is that I should not have to waste my time as the “Go-Between’. Aggravating to receive yet another Pass the Buck reply.
** I still have not received any feedback on the other Sam’s Club 8% Cashback debacle…

Used their link to sign up for Verizon Wireless account. I opened up the account and was told I do not qualify for the $85 rebate. I read all of the stipulations and emailed them. I was told I did not make a purchase although it was nothing about making a purchase. It said when you open an account with Verizon. That is extremely deceptive. Topcashback offered the same offer and would have given me the rebate as it stated that you could bring your own device. No where on RetailMeNot agreement did it state that you had to make a purchase of a new device to get the promo. I have been a user of RetailMeNot for years and I am disappointed.

Just now editing my review of Retailmenot.com and revising the initial one star to five stars. Contacted customer service again, and this time, they responded with investigating the matter further. They reinstated my account and awarded the cash back that had been promised earlier in emails sent to me. Great service ! Thank you for taking care of me.

They love to tell me that my incident(s) are isolated. Implying that my acct is not important enough for them to address it.
They claim that the stores are the ones that notifies them of the purchase. But that's false. They are relying on the ability track the purchase from the customer's end. They claim that they can't track the purchase. So you have to self-report it to them.
But, it's highly likely that they are able to track the purchase, get their commission and tell the customer that they couldn't track it. Why else would they not want to help you solve this tracking issue? Their response is that it's an isolated incident. What company doesn't want to help customers access their website? A company that rather cheat the customers than pay them.
Bitdefender keeps blocking the dealfinder extension. It's labeled as a suspicious connection with an unmatched certificate alerts.endorse.gg.
Also, there was this one time that I reported a purchase for an item. This was my 2nd time purchasing this item. I returned the 1st purchase. Then days later, I bought it again and informed RMN about the purchase. About 2 days later, my RMN acct indicated that I returned the purchase. I never informed RMN about the purchase that I returned. So, how did they obtain knowledge of that purchase? It had nothing to do with them. I had to re-inform them of the purchase. All of this is not worth the minimal reward. RMN gained knowledge of a purchase that I did not share with them.

This is for their cashback system.
Works great, and when I need help, customer service is very quick.

I didn't even subscribed.
They've combined my email as name.surname(at)company.domen from my github account.
This is not my email but I can read their letters because I have an access to "lost" folder (i.e. all emails sent to illegal.address(at)company.domen).
I consider their letters as spam.
I unsubscribed but they still send their letters to the address they think is mine.

They started the Cashback a few years back and it rolled out fine but it seems now they take the money and find a reasons not to pay the customer their fair share. Here's a few things: the phone line they have for years, never gets answered. After you appeal, they still tell you the same thing, without any further explanation. Meanwhile, they are getting paid by the merchants and running away with the money. Coupons are terrible these days. Don't even bother. There are much better cashback portals out there that actually pay out like Rakuten, Befrugal and much more. Rtmn is a scam and everyone should stay away. They will reply to this acting all innocent...
