Avoid for your own sake!

I encourage those interested in working with Concentrix to read this in full before applying.

From the the very start of signing up with them, they requested certain details from me (such as my name change), only to ignore them for nearly 2 years despite being told it was being handled, and chasing it numerous times.

The work itself was not as advertised, with constantly changing expectations and sales targets, and with employees being actively encouraged to log as many complaints as possible, even where none may be relevant, in order to justify their obligation to their client (in my case BT/EE).
Threats were made towards employees who were falling short of these complaint targets, despite concerns being raised over the validity and handling of such complaints.
They are often ignored, swept under the rug, or closed outright without customer contact, because the internal processes are so lacking in oversight.
This just led to more angry calls from customers, asking why their complaints had been closed without their consent or follow on contact.
This is because they need to not only open complaints, but also close them promptly, regardless of the stance of the customer on the matter in most cases.

The computer systems are often buggy, slow or don't work at all, during which times we were told to ''wing it'' or get customers to call back later.

During some of these periods of downtime, we would often have to resort to googling answers on the customers behalf, which was frankly embarrassing.

Also ironic working for a communications firm who are so incredibly bad at communicating!

The hours worked were all over the place, with shifts varying too much to really get into a pattern long-term. Many times I would be working 11:30-8 and then 8-4:30 the next day, and could be two other shift patterns present within the same week.

Rota choices are often minimal or non existent, which caused me to apply for flexitime, where I was due to be doing a 9:530 pattern, which was also constantly being switched around without my consent, necessitating that it be chased by my Team Leader on too many occasions to count, and in many cases led to me losing wages, because they had marked me as AWOL on their systems, despite either being on shift and working, or not being scheduled to be on shift at all.

I had calls from managers numerous times while I was off ill, threatening disciplinary action, despite doctors notes covering my absence.

I also sadly lost my sister a few months ago to cancer, which affected me greatly, and I took some time off to grieve and address my emotional and mental health as a result of the loss.

I raised concerns during this time off, that having had previous periods of illness, I did not want this to reflect badly on my employee record.
I was reassured that it would be fine, and to take all the time I needed.

I returned to work a few weeks after this, only to be told I would be having a disciplinary at the end of that week.

During said disciplinary, I was told that due to the length of time I had taken off, they no longer required my services.
This was relayed by a personality vacuum of a middle manager whom I'd never met before, and who showed absolutely zero compassion when asked to explain my absence and I informed them about the loss of my sister.

Going by the number of clear missteps within their entire infrastructure and managerial hierarchy, with many in management positions there having very little experience, and lack of knowledge on basic people skills, as well as the many ways in which they constantly gaslight their employees, I was advised to pursue a case for wrongful dismissal with them.

I probably should have done so, but the thought of devoting any more time, effort, or accruing any more anxiety by dealing with them in any further manner is not something I can weather currently.

I should also add that upon leaving, they shorted me out of my wages on my final payslip.
I had 200 hours of holiday saved up (that I was told I would be paid for), and was asked to return my computer equipment.
I did this in full, making sure that everything was properly packed for transit, as well as cleaned and dusted, as I had heard prior employees mention how the company deducted money for damaged or missing equipment upon leaving.

The equipment was sent back by courier, and yet somehow money was still deducted from my pay, with no explanation given as to why.

Thus, even at the end of our dealings, the dishonesty and lack of integrity rife within that firm continue to affect me.

Please do think very carefully before giving these people your time, effort or energy.
They will not appreciate you beyond the commission you will passively earn for your managers, and they will not support you when it really matters.

BEWARE! Unauthorized Access Merchant Center account.

I had a very concerning experience with this company. Someone from their team attempted to access my Google Merchant account without my permission. Specifically, a person with the email address gladys.pocot@(their domain) was granted Admin access to my Merchant Center account.

I never spoke with them, nor did I request any services. I emailed them to ask for an explanation, but they never responded. I had to revoke their access three separate times to secure my account and even reported the issue to Google.

Despite my efforts to contact them for clarification, I have not received any response. Instead, I noticed unusual activity on my account again today, which has left me deeply concerned about who they are and how their email is being used.

The company from H*ll

I worked in Concentrix for a little bit over 1 year.
When I began they operated under the name of Webhelp, and later on Concentrix absorbed them.
During the time there, I was shocked over and over again. A huge company that talks so well about their company. The walls decorated with THINK HUMAN, and all sorts of amazing slogans about incredible environment, putting humans first, and all rights and benefits an employee have, only to see the company taking a p*ss at basicly everyone constantly.
Since I began there it took only a month before I witnessed the firing of over 15 employees out of no where.
Later on, working as a Team Leader in the company I got to see how they operated from inside. Take away all benefitsz reduce positions, put more tasks on each employee, make the bonuses harder to achieve, sugarcoat every action and make it sound good while in reality it becomes worse.
I witnessed how they fired over 60 people during my time there, with absolutely no warnings or no mistakes made, other then they wanting to reduce their costs.
They drive projects into the ditch with most likely huge parachutes giving the company a great settlement, and leaving the employee on bare ground.
At one point they had even hired 8 new people, who were suposed to start on a monday, only to recieve a text on sunday evening, after moving to Spain from their respective countries, leaving their homes, friends, jobs and families, and they get a text saying the job offer has been rewoked!
This place is the most inhuman, unprofessional and inconsiderate company I have ever seen, and I am horrified of the way they are operating.
If you ever get a job offer from them and consider it - Don't!

Toxic and bullying work environment

The management of this company is super toxic and manipulative, and they lie so much that they should apply for the Oscar's.
This company rather covers criminals/employees who do illegal activities than keep the good, loyal ones. They bully the good and hard-working employees out of the companies.
In one project for a German bank, there was an employee who stole more than 40k€ from that bank. It was the bank itself who discovered this fraud and confronted Concentrix. Concentrix didn't fire this employee immediately after the interrogation with him but kept him long enough to even pay him his final salary. This bank even wanted him to be sued in Germany but Concentrix didn't hand him out to the authorities in Germany. This is not the first time that Concentrix was covering bad/malicious employees. There are cases where ex-employees were SA'ed in the women toilets in another project, employees were extremely sexually and/or physically harassed and were reported many times by employees from different departments. I really recommend you to look for a company that really stick to their own guidelines and policies. The management only support ppl who they really like and is best friends with them, regardless of their work performance or criminal record. They keep back the salary of sincere and hard-working employees even after being confronted with evidence and the labour law itself.
Concentrix should shut down its location in Portugal due to the high rates of nepotism, corruption, bullying and racism. The working culture here in PT is very poor and low which results in narcissistic, macho and manipulative way of managinthe employees and companies. The KPI's and numbers look great because the managers here in PT always find a way to cheat and to fake the numbers.
Me and many co-workers, including employees from quality and training departments, tried to report many (criminal) cases to the higher management. Unfortunately they cover up the perpetrators and solidify with them rather than to initiate a neutral investigation and interrogation and punish the good employees for reporting the bad ppl within the company by putting them on internal disciplinary process, deduct their salaries or reseat them on different seats on a daily base.
Bosses and managers in Germany have a higher and better work mind setthanthe ones in Portugal. In Germany when an employee is reported multiple times from different ppl, he will be warned 3 times. If he stil breach the guidelines and the policies or still committing fraud etc. He'll immediately get fired without any payment.
In Concentrix Portugal you only will be promoted for higher positions when you're best friends with the managers regardless of their performance.

It genuinely feels that as a business…

It genuinely feels that as a business Concentrix have not only failed to deliver the service as agreed, but it also feels fraudulent due to how poorly the campaigns have been set up - followed by a proper kick in the teeth where their management team don’t even have the integrity to respond.

My experiences

Let me give you my scenarios of experience working with webhelp.
1. I was working on a weekend, it's fine but then I was the only tier 2 advisor left on the job I had to leave at 18, one of the managers called me directly while working and asked. Can you work until 20? I said no because my family was coming over and I had to make food. He said, no can do. He degraded me for not willing to work overtime.
2. There is notoriously lots of gossiping from one to another. I have heard so much about people giving sexual pleasure to get promoted. While they couldn't even do their job right.
3. Lots of them were doing their job badly. I have worked over year in the company and I have seen how bad of a job people were doing in the call log. Even saying bad things about the customers without any help, even if they were elderly people.
4. Working for themselves and not for the customers. The guideline were using max 5-10 min on each customers and if it's over you will be reduced. 5-10 min wasn't even enough to service any bigger issue for the customers. Find the issue then send them an email. That's what I was told. Even if the customer cant do it themselves.
5. Tier 2 are working tirelessly while tier 1 has 30+ pause after each calls. I was taking minimum of 10 calls in an hour while the new recruits had 1-2 calls. The different in salary was 300 euro. There were maximum of 10 tier 2 and 50 tier one and half of the tier one hasn't even received a single call thought half of the day.
6. Nobody who actually works with integrity were promoted. You can try as hard as possible to get promoted but you will never, if you work as you should of course. The people who got promoted are the ass kissers and the d*ck suckers who always slime up to the TM of DM.
Lastly I have my friend who still worked there. He said everything is still the same. Bad management and discrimination. I'm doing this for him since I'm already out of the shackles.

Unprofessional and Unethical Work Environment

My experience at Concentrix was extremely disappointing. The company’s medical support in case of emergencies is inadequate. Supervisors lack basic first aid and security training, which is concerning for employee safety.

Additionally, HR made unauthorized changes to contracts, using employees' e-signatures without proper consent to switch to short-term contracts. This raises serious ethical concerns about how they handle employment agreements.

There also appears to be a lack of job security, with people being let go without clear reasons. The overall work environment was challenging, particularly due to the unprofessional conduct of the project manager, who regularly overstepped his role and handled matters that should have been assigned to other team members. His communication style with management was often inappropriate and disrespectful.

Finally, the goodbye mail sent to employees was not sent in a timely manner, missing legal deadlines, which added to the overall disorganization.

I would not recommend this company due to these ongoing issues.

We live in sad times

We live in sad times! This company continuously posts jobs on various job boards and they bombard candidates with ridiculous "assessments" and direct behavioural questions relating only the length of your last three jobs. If having a seasoned sales person in your office who is punctual, honest and puts forth their best effort on behalf of clients is not your cup of tea Concentrix recruiters, perhaps YOU should be working elsewhere.
