Carl Compton is correct and unsubbing is useless with these corp jokers.
Literally broke up with this company more than 10 years back (so-called 'partner' program), and somehow I am still getting spam from them. Dumped them after some random commission change (theft of commissions thru structural change). Literally went through hoops to get off their spam over ten years back.
It's like they never ever go away. Right now I have 20 or so pos's in my email box from last 4 months.
They re-emerge in my inbox every 1-2 years.

What went wrong "this time"? Wow, that's a way to start.
New platform is an ambush, pushed out with no warning, not user-friendly, and doesn't stop the constant need to refresh a page to get it to load entirely.
I am now actively searching for another platform. Frustration is high.
I am adding today's date as 'date of experience', but the reload issue is daily and usually 5-10 times daily.

We launched a campaign using information free to the public. We set out our tasks when a representative told us we could not use the information provided to us as it did not meet there "standards". When asked for explanation her response was in direct violation of our States laws. When asked to reconsider, the representative said we had to stop. We appealed. We're talking with our attorney's.

The emails I do are very nice and I like the tools available. I didn't give the fifth star because after the upgrade you did a few months ago everything is taking twice as many clicks to get to as it did before. I used to open it and land in my recently sent emails - now I need to click a few things to get to those. I used to be able to click metrics to see how many emails bounced and then click directly into it and see who, but now I have to click into the little summary image, click reporting, then scroll to bounced, and then click on it. I used to be able to change the background color of a section but hovering to the right and clicking the button. Now you hover to the right and then click the three dots to see more menu options and *then* if your mouse still lets you see it you can click the background color. The changes just made it harder to use. So I like how my emails look when I'm done with them but I don't love the changes to make it actually *harder* to do my job.

We're a small church and Constant Contact has allowed us to creatively and effectively communicate with our members and friends about what's happening at our church. Their different templates make our messages attractive and fun. The ability to also share our emails on our social media pages makes our that much job easier. We've been customers for years and it's been the right choice for our church.

There are still some bugs in the software that Constant Contact needs to address. It can be very difficult to drag content up and down my Eblast. Oftentimes, content doesn't move. Or, it gets grouped together without me intending that it gets grouped together. The biggest bug is that when you click on images in folders, the interface does not show all of the images in that folder. The folder may say it has 22 images, but you will only see a portion of them. To fix this, place an image, then edit it, and when you click the folder with 22 images, you will finally see all the images, including the one you really want to place. This adds time to my workflow. And it's very annoying.

Our company has been using Constant Contact for more than 15 years. Overall, it has been a very reliable and effective platform for managing our email campaigns, events, and surveys.
However, one concern we have experienced over time is that some system upgrades remove or change features that were important to our workflow. While we appreciate improvements to the platform, it would be very helpful if users had the option to retain or restore certain legacy functionalities when updates are released.
For example, in the Events tool there used to be an option to update attendee status after the event date had passed (e.g., mark registrants as Attended, Didn’t Attend, or Cancelled). This was extremely useful for tracking participation and maintaining accurate records. Since this functionality has been removed, it has made post-event reporting and follow-up more difficult for our team.
Being able to update attendance status after an event is an important feature for many organizations that rely on event history and engagement tracking.
We would greatly appreciate if this capability could be restored or made available as an optional feature within the Events tool.
Overall, we value Constant Contact and hope future updates will continue to enhance the platform while preserving key features that long-time users depend on.

We are a small non-profit and have been using Constant contact since 2008. We do not stay with them out of loyalty for excellent service. They are just the only email service that seems to be able to satisfy everything we need. Recently, we had three different campaigns going out at once. Constant Contact punished us by reducing the number of people that could see our emails. We went from an open rate of 48-52% to 12-15%. They said it was because of an Apple bot situation. We argued we felt they thought we were sending spam and they said no - it's the bot thing and we cleared it. They implied that we did not have that many people opening our emails. Three weeks after this so called fix, we are not back up to 45% on the average open rate. Constant Contact is not honest or helpful to non-profits. We are working on finding an alternative.
