We love our local Costco
We love our local Costco. You can return anything basically anytime (not electronics).
Their generous return policy keeps us coming as does the price.
Too many negative reviews by entitled people crying over spilt milk.
Absolutely horrendous customer service
Absolutely horrendous customer service. I was locked out of my account and could not do a password. Reset I spent almost 2 hours and five phone calls with Costco online because I needed to find the receipts for items that I have issues with or needed to return after much frustration I have decided to write this review.
Customer service agents are clueless. They read the notes and then tell you exactly what to do that doesn’t work or you asked for them to send you a return label and what do they do? They send you an email that directs you to print your label and send you right back to the Costco site where you cannot enter with your password. I was told that they were having some technical difficulty but after a week of . Clueless customer service reps I am going to have to escalate this situation, not being able to access receipts nor able to return items unless you physically go into the store is not what I signed up for my executive membership.
We have many disabled veterans that cannot go into the store and so they rely on this online process. I am a veteran and I find it very frustrating that Costco would treat us this way. I would strongly suggest to keep away until they get better customer service.
Great company
Great company! Has its pros and cons, but I am a loyal customer here!
They have a lot of parking, but it can be hard to find any, even on a weekday. The lines are pretty long. Best time to come is on a weekday right after it opens, but most people work during that time.
I love the employees here! They are so friendly and kind! They always do their best to help you. I dropped my credit card there and they helped me find it!
The other shoppers are very rude and ruin the whole experience. They let their kids run around, while screeching at the top of their lungs. They park their cart in the middle of a busy aisle and push you in a crowd. They’ll even try to cut you in line and have run over my feet before.
Costco punished me by suspending my card for three months
I have been very disappointed with my recent experience at Costco. Even though I paid my full membership fee, my card was suspended for three months. This happened after I returned a coffee machine that did not work properly. Instead of simply processing my return, Costco punished me by suspending my card for three months, which is extremely unfair.
As a paying member, I expect fair treatment and customer service that respects consumer rights. It is unacceptable to punish a customer for returning a faulty product. This experience has made me lose trust in Costco, and I am reconsidering whether to continue my membership in the future.
new orleans dublin st costco is the best!!
based on New Orleans Dublin St warehouse… high quality products sold at great value by well paid experienced staff who are genuinely kind friendly and knowledgeable. over 10 years open and rarely notice much turnover. have purchased major appliances, used delivery service and have ordered online…. deliveries were always well communicated, delivered on time & professionally!
Loyal Executive Member disappointed by unresolved appliance defect
I have been a Costco Executive Member for many years and have purchased numerous items from them, ranging from major appliances — including two dishwashers and two refrigerators — to smaller household items and even furniture. I chose Costco repeatedly because I trusted their products, service, and commitment to members.
However, my experience with one of my purchases has been very disappointing. I bought a KitchenAid dishwasher (Model: KDTM404KPS) three years ago. From the very beginning, it leaked at the bottom door corner. The door was eventually replaced under warranty, but now, just a year later, rust has developed in the same location where the door attaches to the body. This is not merely a cosmetic concern — it affects the structural integrity and proper functioning of the appliance.
Despite multiple calls to Costco Technical & Warranty Services and clear documentation of the issue, the problem remains unresolved. I understand that warranties have limitations, but this is a recurring defect directly tied to the original leak and repair. Given my long-standing loyalty and substantial purchases, I expected Costco to offer a higher level of goodwill support.
I am hoping that Costco will take this matter seriously and provide a resolution, whether through repair, replacement, or another form of goodwill assistance. I believe this is consistent with the high level of service and member support that Costco advertises and that loyal Executive Members expect.
I am disappointed that Costco has not addressed this persistent defect and hope that future members are aware of these limitations. I am sharing my experience in the hope that Costco improves their handling of ongoing appliance defects, particularly for long-term Executive Members.
Exect to spend hours getting tires put on.
I had a 11:30 appointment at the Costco Tucson Marketplace. Even though I was on time, they did not even hoist up my car until one hour and 40 minutes later. No explanation, no apologies. Completely unacceptable behavior. Never again will I buy tires from Costco.
Do not buy tires from Costco
Do not buy tires from Costco, the techs that work there are in competent.. they don’t balance them correctly and the tires wear out twice as fast..
Lost $500 in a online return
On May 28, 2025, I returned a product using the prepaid return label provided by Costco. Costco failed to communicate promptly regarding the return, resulting in UPS delivering the package to an incorrect address. As a result of this delay, it is now too late for me to file a claim with UPS, as more than 60 days have passed. Despite this, I have been wrongfully implied to have committed fraud by allegedly altering the return label — an accusation that is entirely baseless, as I have no ability to modify UPS shipping information. I, as the customer, am the party who has suffered financial loss due to the mishandling by Costco and UPS. I demand a second investigation, a written explanation of the mishandling, and a full resolution, including the issuance of a refund or replacement.
Mistakes were made by COSTCO and UPS, but the customer paid for it.
I'm probably going to lose this money, but going to make sure everyone knows about it.

It takes a very long time for an order to be delivered. The customer service not helpful at all. The even say they can't call USPS lol
A Fave
Excellent selection, professional, great experience. Despite being “a big box store” there’s a human warmth, interactivity and decency in the foundation here.
Costco Employee Complaint
Subject: Formal Complaint – Incident at Costco Huntsville, AL 9/9/25 1845hrs CDT
To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to formally document a very troubling experience during my visit to the Huntsville, AL Costco on [insert date]. I have been a loyal Costco member for 24 years, and this incident was by far the most upsetting interaction I have had at your store.
As I approached the exit, I was stopped by an employee later identified as Brittney. While I fully understand and respect Costco’s policy of verifying receipts, her demeanor and handling of the situation were unacceptable. In an abrupt and firm manner, she stated that I “must” wait for her to clear me before I could exit. When I asked to speak with a manager, she dismissively told me to “go find one” myself, and when I confirmed her response, she repeated it—making it clear she had no intention of contacting management.
I then walked back to the registers and requested a manager directly. Another employee immediately relayed my request, and within a minute, Heath, who identified himself as a manager, came to speak with me. Heath listened carefully, acknowledged my concerns, and stated he would review video (and possibly audio) of the incident and address the matter internally. While I appreciated his professionalism, I left unconvinced that the seriousness of Brittney’s conduct would be addressed appropriately.
Unfortunately, upon exiting the store a second time, I encountered Brittney again. After checking my cart and receipt, she sarcastically asked how I was doing. When I responded, “Not great at all,” she smirked and replied, “Well, that’s good!”—further escalating the situation and showing blatant disregard for professionalism or customer respect.
This behavior is unacceptable for any employee, let alone one stationed at a highly visible customer interaction point. It reflects poorly on Costco and left me feeling disrespected and frustrated as a long-standing member.
I am requesting the following:
A formal review of this incident, including video/audio where applicable.
Confirmation that the matter has been addressed with the employee involved.
Assurance that steps are being taken to ensure other members do not experience similar treatment.
I expect a written response within 7 business days. Please understand that if this matter is not addressed properly, I will have no choice but to escalate my complaint to Costco’s corporate offices and other appropriate channels.
Sincerely,
Robert Shewmake
Absolutely 100% Fake
Ordered a Jetboil at a bargain price but had no confirmation email, no order number and discovered that my email doesn’t exist on the Costco website.
The link to the site where I ordered it has been taken down too and I’ve since noticed that this offer is actually back up but under a different name.
Keep away at all costs.

Costco is our go to for hosting parties and regular grocery shopping. We love the value and the experience of walking around and discovering new things. The produce is always usable for weeks- much better than the grocery store. We love the company too and own their stock.

The Ninja coffee machine was reduced in price in the shop but they had no stock, so ordered and paid for it online. Due to the size, we asked for it to be delivered to my partners place of work. Then got an email saying delivery had been attempted but no-one in and left a card. There WAS someone in and NO card was left. Was since discovered by COSTCO that this was delivered to the wrong address! Second attempt the following day and was delivered to my partners place of work. After unpacking the machine at home, there was NO coffee machine in the box but 3 large packs of bbq charcoal, which, incidentally weighed the same as the coffee machine.
Costco were contacted many times and photos sent and after much communication they agreed to ship a further coffee machine or we could have a refund. Because of the good price, we decided we would still like the coffee machine. So we waited and 10 days later were told by Costco that the replacement had been rejected as the team believe that it was delivered correctly and not tampered with due to similarities in photos taken at the depot before shipping and after delivery!
How can this be? The photos before delivery would have been a coffee machine and after delivery were 3 bags of charcoal! It's bad enough to lose all the money we have paid but to be called LIARS too is just unbelievable and extremely upsetting.
It's of little consequence to Costco as they won't give a damn, but we will never spend/lose money with Costco again!
Great deals
Great deals, great employees. Really awesome company. Love it!
