Buyers beware

Buyers beware. Their discounts come at a price, because you can never return their items if discounted. Regular priced items can only get returned for store credit. I purchased an LA Divine dress from there in January. The shipping date was sent to me as 5 days from the order date. I paid for 3 day shipping. The company waited to contact the vendor for the dress in which I had to contact the vendor. Upon the vendor sending the dress, they labeled it and allowed it to sit for 2 days. My ship date changed to almost 4 days after the initial ship date. I tried contacting them before it was shipped to cancel, but they don't allow orders to be canceled unless canceled 5 hours after order is placed. Needless to say I didn't receive my dress on time and was stuck within their policy if having to ship it back or receive a 20% late fee. There is also a 25% restock fee, and the customer must pay return shipping. All and all, this storefront is not worth the hassle and will gladly take your money without any way of allowing a refund regardless of their wrong-doing.
A monetary refund that was equivalent to half of the price and was time sensitive. I feel other customers should know that if they need to return or cancel, your policies will not favor the customer.

Your order was placed on January 13 with 3-day shipping, which begins after our 48–72 business hour processing window. On January 14, we confirmed processing and advised an estimated delivery of January 20. The dress shipped January 16 with tracking provided. We understand the courier’s changing ETA was upsetting.

While our standard policy provides store credit, we offered a one-time monetary refund option less a 25% restocking fee and original freight costs to help resolve the matter.

BUYER BEWARE

BUYER BEWARE! THIS COMPANY AND THEIR POLICIES ARE CRIMINAL. I PURCHASED A $600 DRESS IN GOOD FAITH, TRIED IT ON ONCE, IT DID NOT FIT WELL, SO I ASKED TO RETURN IT. THEY HAVE THIS CUMBERSOME PROTOCOL, INCLUDING SENDING PICTURES AND THEN I HAD TO PAY OVER $80 TO SEND IT BACK INSURED WITH SIGNATURE ACCEPTANCE. ONCE THEY RECEIVED IT, THEY HAD TO INSPECT IT BEFORE THEY SAID THEY WOULD ISSUE ME A STORE CREDIT (AS IF I WOULD EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN) AND WHATEVER I PURCHASED WITH THE STORE CREDIT WOULD BE A FINAL SALE. I DEMANDED A REFUND TO MY ORIGINAL PAYMENT AND THEY MADE ME FEEL AS THOUGH THEY WERE DOING ME THIS HUGE FAVOR. THEY PROCEEDED TO TELL ME THAT THEY WILL DEDUCT 25% ($150!! - RIDICULOUS!) FOR A RESTOCKING FEE AND THEIR FREIGHT CHARGE WHEN THEY SENT IT TO ME AS WELL AS A HANDLING FEE. LONG STORY SHORT, I’M OUT $300 FOR A $600 DRESS I RETURNED!

The Worst

The worst, rudest customer service in the history of retail purchases in my life! There are toooo many dress companies to purchase from...leave this one! They want you to buy their product and if you have a problem...you get the blame! I requested 3 day shipping! Bought on a Monday! They make sure that they can take 48-72 hours to CYA ( cover their A!) Sooo the pkg...doesn't arrive until Monday! I ordered on Monday, pd an extra 32.00 to have it in 3 days! It arrives to me 7 days later after I pd extra! Who got the blame...ME! Their excuse...they have 72 hours to process! Plus they don't use companies that ship on the weekend! Now...turn the tables!

The dress doesn't fit me right, the color is wrong, and I need to ship back! You have to get the almighty RMA number first! I got mine on a Wed! You have exactly 5 days to get it back to this company from the time that you got the RMA number and it's not business days you get to use as the customer who is spending their money... it has to be five days including the weekend! Sooo it cost me $94.00 to ship back from Louisiana to Las Vegas so I wouldn't get a 20% penalty which would have cost me $200.00! Additionally...you have to take all of these pictures of the dress the tags the box with the RMA number with the order number because obviously the people they hire don't have enough sense to do their job. All of this sent in pictures. Then when they got the dress back, they promptly informed me that it would be there for review and if it had been worn or had any blemish, it would be mailed back to you. I ran a school for a living, so I think I get their rigor and obnoxiousness about turning paperwork in! Finally, I got the green light and my credit and you have six months to dissolve that or it becomes their property and money! I'm sure after they read their review... they will find a way to penalize my freedom of speech! Looking forward to finishing my transactions and deleting Couture Candy from 100 percent of my life life! Dillards, Nordstroms, Revolve, New York Dress, etc have the same dresses with the best customer services! Also...I would give them a 0! It wasn't available!

I haven’t received my dress yet

I haven’t received my dress yet, I texted them January 26 via email where they were very cooperative. I made sure to ask them all the needed questions before purchasing. Main concern was it coming in on time. I live in Hawaii and they specifically said 48-72 hours for processing and 2-4 days for shipping. Today is February 4 it should’ve been delivered by yesterday. I have been pressuring them, to complete my purchase. On February 2 they said the dress was processed by their “processing team” and waiting for my tracking number… GREAT. But now February 3/4 they’re saying my dress is being processed and I’ll be sent my tracking number when it’s prepared. I feel like I’m talking to an ai. It scares me but I took all precautions and screenshots. If my dress doesn’t come in in time, correct dress, right size, and no damage… I will do whatever it takes to shut this website down once and for all. I advise the couture candy team to really pinpoint my order. Then I’ll put in a better review.

$640 Jovani gown for $265

My daughter found a prom dress for $640 in a local store. I bought the dress from Couture Candy for $265. It came within a matter of days, direct from the designer in New York. I would definitely order from them again.
