Great customer experience.
I like to use Covers for wood supplies, as traditionally I believe this was at the heart of the business. The staff are always helpful and happy to assist. Today I popped in and Tash was extremely helpful, proactively asking if I needed assistance, sourcing my timber arranging for it to be cut (thanks to Ben & Jack) and then sorting my invoice. I placed my order on a weekend
I placed my order on a weekend, and had a confirmation email on Monday advising the delivery to be on Wed between 8 and 4. I called at 4 to query where it was to be told the delivery was the next day and it must have been an error on the original email.
The price and quality of the materials was fine, its the admin that led to this rating.

- I’ve since spoken with the branch, and it appears an error was made when the delivery information was sent across. Unfortunately, this was human error, and we can only apologise for the inconvenience and confusion this caused.
Product not Available on site when gone for collection
I went to collect the brick at the Bexley Heath branch after I had been told it was ready to be collected. the brick wasn't there. I went all the way from deep Croydon. An elderly man took my number and told me that he would call the next day. He didn't. I called and there was no answer and I left a message. I have not got a response but I am being sent a review to be completed.

Disappointed
Disappointed, delivery date missed despite my calling and being told it was being loaded or out and that Covers deliver up until 1530. Not a good first impression; delivered the following day and that delivery went well, benefiting from a pleasant and cooperative delivery driver. In addition, my noting that the Welcome10 code had been denied on my first order, no action or feedback!

I highly recommend Covers. They offer quality materials at competitive prices, items are available for collection quickly and efficiently and for a reasonable charge will cut pieces to size. The staff were all friendly and helpful; what's not to like!
