As a newcomer to metal detecting we were able to choose the correct metal detector for our use with the help of a very knowledgeable assistant in the shop and also chose from a good range of accessories on the online shop.

I recently purchased a Vanquish 360 metal detectator from this company. I was sent out a machine that had a coil fault, I contacted crawfords and was met with a poor customer service resPonse, i was advised that they may need me to return the item, i informed them i was returning the item regardless as it was faulty and at a cost to myself of £259. I returned the machine on the 08/07/2026 having received it the day previously and they received it back on the 09/07/2026 and heres where we start. They started to say they needed a warranty manager to look at the damage. I informed them its a pity they did not do this prior to posting out. Buyers looking at using this company need to look for alteratives first, a very bad experience resulting in crawfords keeping my money and their machine i will pursue now through ebay and My bank and again BUYER BEWARE TINPOT COMPANY THAT RIP PEOPLE OFF.

I ordered a nokta simplex ultra, a crawfords detector bag, a pinpointer and a few other bits. Delivery arrived on time and package had no damage, as I am new to metal detecting I found the nokta simplex ultra very easy to put together, very light and sturdy and brilliant to navigate around, the bag and pinpointer are very robust too. Very good price too and it's already set up for beginners. I will definitely order more items from this company.

Good communication and received my metal detector promptly. Only downside was that I did not receive the advertised discount off the price when purchasing and emailed Crawford's who said they would look into it but never received any response or discount.
