I purchased from Crawford's early this week. I made a mistake when ordering and had to call them to get it rectified. I found both departments I spoke to were polite and very helpful. Everything was sorted out quickly and my order turned up the next day. I would definitely recommend Crawford's to anyone and everyone. Faultless service.

Care more about suppliers than customers
Bought an Evolution Pro Cut T, which failed just past the triangle weld after only 2 uses. Clearly a design/manufacturing defect. Check metaldetectingforum.co.uk...this spade is known to look as if its built like a tank but fold like butter.
The manufacturer, as expected, blames all failures on customer misuse. & Crawfords will just fob you off to them and refuse to acknowledge any blame for misrepresenting this tool as "the highest quality metal detecting spade on the market. Designed by detectorists for detectorists. A heavy duty pro spade, designed to withstand the toughest ground and cope with the rigours of metal detecting".
Avoid.

Good Value & Speedy Service
I decided to order a Minelab Equinox 800 as I felt I needed an upgrade from my trusty Minelab Safari. I spoke to a very polite lady on Wed to see if this was the right decision and she said yes so I ordered it. I got it Thurs evening (NE Scotland!) What service! Furthermore, needed advice about wireless module and Joe advised me (I'm not very hi-tech!) Lastly, for the price you paid for this machine was exceptional (15" coil included) and the little finds box, brush & spray bottle also. Nice touch Crawfords and well done again.

Excellent service
Excellent service. I was not after a metal detector for a hobby but because the trashy people who owned my land previously had burned and buried all kinds of dangerous metal on our horses' field and we had only just discovered it. I called Crawfords and explained to a very polite, helpful and knowledgable woman my problem and she gave me two MD options. The package arrived less than 24 hours later. Thank you so much. Highly recommended.

Great Customer Service
I had a problem with one broken coil & another that was fracturing where the shaft meets the coil. I firstly emailed telling them of the problem. They quickly confirmed they were under warranty and I sent them back to them on the Wednesday BOOM by Friday I received two new coils delivered by DHL. Really impressed with the service. 👍
