If I can give Crowdbotics a zero in the ratings, I would. We initiated a contract with them in December 2023 - and up to now - we still don't have a complete product. It's more than a year delayed. They subcontract just about every aspect of the work and the folks assigned by their subcontractors keep changing, so we've had to start over every time we've had issues with the development process. CB is slow to respond and they don't seem to assume any responsibility once payment has been made. We regret going with this company. We are a public institution of higher learning in the Bay Area - and in my opinion - they are robbing taxpayers' funding with their poor customer service and failure to deliver an agreed upon product. Simply said, they suck, and I do not recommend them to anyone. Save your $52K+.

Two years and almost $100,000 and I have received nothing of value. Lies, misrepresentations and they NEVER DELIVER. HORRIBLE company.

I was really hoping the other reviews would be wrong but, after spending $70,000 we have no app (not even close) and virtually no communication. They make tons of promises but will leave you high and dry once they receive your final payment. Please don’t fall for this scam. I promise you’ll regret it.

I’ve been working with Crowdbotics for a few years now to develop my dating app, DateSafe, and I can confidently say that I’m quite pleased with the overall experience.

When I first began my search for a development partner, I reached out to about ten different companies. Crowdbotics was the first to respond, and right from our initial meeting, their sales representative impressed me with his professionalism and understanding of my vision. I appreciated the way he took the time to answer all my questions and provided insights that showed he genuinely cared about my project. Although I interviewed several other companies, I ultimately decided to go with Crowdbotics because they offered a great balance of support, quality, and pricing that fit my budget.

We kicked off the project in October 2021, with an expected completion date in the spring of 2022. While the timeline did extend longer than initially anticipated, I want to emphasize that the final product is worth the wait. There were definitely some growing pains along the way for both me and Crowdbotics, including changes in project managers and shifts in timelines. However, the team at Crowdbotics remained committed to delivering a robust app that met my expectations.

For anyone that’s completely new to the world of app development, like I was/am, I would suggest really scrutinizing the PRD (Product Requirement Document) and get every single little detail/desire/function down on that document and understand everything that’s on there. Ask questions and get (and give) clarity—don’t assume anything! Things that might be obvious to you, might not be to the developers and vice versa. The PRD is what they will refer back to and if something isn’t on there you will (obviously) have to pay for it to be implemented if it’s something you really want. There were other things I learned along the way, but I think that is my biggest piece of advice. Oh! And be aware that Apple is very difficult to get apps published on the AppStore, so budgeting for a Progressive Web App from the start of your project might be worth it.

Now that DateSafe is pretty much complete, I can truly appreciate the hard work and dedication that went into the development. I’m so grateful to everyone along the way, especially the few that have been apart of the team from the very beginning until the finished product. The app functions well, and I’m excited to take it to market. Overall, I would recommend Crowdbotics to anyone looking for a reliable, comprehensive development partner, especially if you’re willing to be patient through the process. They have a talented team that will work to bring your vision to life.

The team at Crowdbotics has been amazing to work with. They are always quick to respond to all my questions and have built and maintained my mobile app. I would highly recommend doing business with them and I look forward to my continued partnership with my Crowdbotics team.

Crowdbotics made my dream a reality. The process was a little more difficult than I thought it would be; however, in the end all that matters is that we got it done. My advice to new clients would be to put every single detail into the product blueprint. Before you sign off on the blueprint, make sure all features and functionalities are spelled out clearly so there are no disagreements down the road. Also, expect to spend a significant investment of time for QA testing and troubleshooting. If you can't dedicate the time, rethink if you're ready to make this investment. There is a substantial amount of time that you need to invest on your end, so be prepared for that. CB engineers are talented but oftentimes there can be a communication gap. I'm pleased with their service and continue to work with them for creation of new features plus maintenance of my platform.

We have hired Crowdbotics because of their presales team who did a great job building our plan however the company signed with us, didn't put a team together and then cancelled the service delaying my project in 3 months. I do NOT recommend working with this company.

UPDATE: Now this company is saying that my application wasn't approved due to different funding options. Well, why did you accept my application in the first place? Why did we sign an agreement for you to pull it out 2 months after that? This reply only shows a lack of commitment and lack of professionalism.

Crowdbotics has very timely customer service. The staff is very knowledgeable.

I didn't like how long it took to get off the ground after I scoped a very small project for months and then paid to begin the feature. I was told that the ask was unclear and it was being investigated like it was a bug. It was not until I complained, that things moved forward. The project would have finished closer to my desired time if this did not happen.

Once it was escalated and the development was under way, the rest of the process went smooth. From there the team was attentive, helped resolve bugs and launch the feature in a timely manner.

I contracted Crowdbotics to build a complex dropshipping application for the Shopify app store. The app had many features and fairly complicated workflows involved, including numerous API calls and specific features needed for a dropshipping business. Crowdbotics built this for me at a solid rate - when the contract was signed a whole team was assigned to my app, which was very impressive. Communication was always quick and effective, and tasks were tackled in a very timely manner. My team was awesome to work with and always explained tasks clearly.

The app is looking great and all features we could need are ready. Looking forward to launching it on Shopify shortly!

Crowdbotics is a one stop shop for getting your app built and operating. They helped me create a music discovery app. My recent experience with them has been outstanding, and I couldn't be more pleased with the final product.

I had many issues early on, however it seems that those issues have been fixed. If the last 6 months are an indication of how Crowdbotics will continue to function, this would be an easy 5/5 review.

Team was responsive and enthusiastic, felt like I was dealing with my company and not an outsourced team. Cared about the deadlines and the finished product.

Project Manager was great. However, I wish they helped and communicated better once project was done.
