Can't remove shows from watchlist?

Plenty to watch and overall not that bad, but I am extremely frustrated that I can't remove shows from continue watching.

I literally try 1 episode of a show, realise it's garbage and blam! It's stuck there forever.

I can never comprehend how a company so large isn't capable of noticing and/or repairing such a simple interface error, and I know from other user reviews that this is a shared frustration.

But like, idk where else to go so ima keep giving them my money so I can finish chainsaw man lol.

Crunchyroll is absolute garbage

Crunchyroll is absolute garbage. I’ve been trying to cancel my subscription for months, but they make it literally impossible. They keep telling me I have to cancel through Google Play — even though I do NOT have access to any Google Play account linked to my Crunchyroll account.
Their support is completely useless and refuses to help, while they continue to charge me $10 every single month for a subscription I’ve been trying to cancel forever. This is straight-up scummy behavior.

They Scam ppl!!

I purchased a monthly membership. Well they toom the money from the account i selected then 2 hours later they took put another monthly membwrship for the same accoubt but on another card. When i asked for a refund they refused saying its not i. Their guidelines. First how do i even buy 2 memberships of the same month and time for the same account .. yeah bull! The subs and dubs on this app are not appeqring amymore the interface doesnt load right kr you the same show 7 times in a row on whatever list you browsing

Misleading liars

Crunchyroll email me to offer me a year subscription for £39.99, but it was a lie. If you click the link they sent me, it's £47.99 a membership.

They then tell me I have to cancel my current subscription price of £4.99 a month to get this offer, but that's also a lie.

They later state that the price they emailed me is without tax included, which is just stupid, and the price the app shows me is with tax. Who does that? Who sends a promotional offer without including tax and without saying it does or doesn't include tax.

I hate this company with a passion, but I also don't want to pirate anime, so I'm stuck

I used Crunchyroll for around 2 years

I used Crunchyroll for around 2 years, same pc, same browser. One day without apparent reason they blocked my account without any explanation. I contacted 3 times the customer support and they have no clue of what they are doing. honestly I cannot give an explanation because this is the entire story.

closed captioning is a joke

Tried to get a subscription to Crunchyroll. I’m hard of hearing and rely on Closed captioning. I found it very hard to set up Closed captioning, plus it never worked properly on my device. I don’t know why crunchy roll makes it so hard to set up compared to other streaming services. Canceled my subscription two days into it. Won’t be back.

Variety but some cons...

I love how much variety they have. All easily accessable and constantly updated. My only complaint is the interface. I dislike not being able to see when my next payment will be.

Daylight robbery, paying premium without access and app crashing constantly

Got Crunchyroll to watch anike on a 11h flight to China on my massive tablet, the app kept crashing, cpuldwatch a thing and made carrying my tablet on an intercontinental journey pointless. This was around Easter.
Since then few times I tried to access my account and guess what? Says I am not a premium member when they took money from me regularly on the 20th of the month for 6+ months! Tonight I finally tried to contact assistance (losing precious sleep hours) and is a useless chatbot basically telline me to check if I used the correct email address! (Which I have)Daylight robbery.

Customer support blatantly lied and constant delays

Customer support lied about a episode being not available in my region but released globally after it had already been delayed a week, when its not released anywhere. The UI and options are lacking and sometimes don't work. They show shows that haven't had anything updated to them show up on the recently added. I could list 100more complaints just a terrible service.

Total waste of money

Total waste of money. Range of shows and series is just a few. I am totally regretting after choosing premium plan. Their customer support is worst. No proper knowledge, no proper resolution. Please avoid crunchyroll if you want to save yourself from frustration.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM

I placed the pre-order as a Christmas gift in August, August 8th of 2024 to be exact for an anime collectible for my nephew. I ordered two figures, I received one around the time it was supposed to be shipped which was well after Christmas and we knew this. It was a pre-order production was after Christmas but it is what my nephew wanted. I never had a problem before the first figure arrived. Packaged nicely and he was very pleased. Well here it is December of 2025. I still have not received the other figure that was ordered in August of 2024 and they keep pushing back the shipping. This review comes on the day that my item was supposed to ship again and I have no tracking number, no response from the company. They refer you to their website FAQ pages which does nothing for you. So actually this is really a poor business practice on their part. I have sent well over 12 emails and every email gets the FAQ response and when I respond to that and say I want a real response they push back my shift date. Well my ship date was pushed back in November of this year to December 31st of 2025 and here it is December 31st 2025 no tracking, no shipping, no nothing no response. It's well over a year. Absolutely ridiculous. This company used to be very reputable, not anymore. It's a sin. Anime is very popular and they're merchandise is very nice. If you can get it they charge you for your pre-orders. So even if it comes down to a situation where it's going to cost them a little more to ship it because of tariffs or anything else that is going on that's their problem. They've had my money for over a year. Well over a year. I don't want to disappoint my nephew, he's waiting patiently. I check on this item every month and I still have not received it. Do yourself a favor? Don't do it. It's absolutely absurd the way they treat their customers and they don't even offer you a discount. Being that you don't want to cancel the item, you still want it but you should actually be able to get a coupon or something to use on their site for your patience and your trouble But they don't offer anything and when you ask about it they just skirt the issue. Very disappointed in you Crunchyroll very disappointed

My last ship date was told to be January 31st. I waited to hear from the company by email to be told either my item shipped which I ordered now 2 years ago or to be told it was being delayed again. I heard nothing. After contacting them yet again and this has got to be over my 12th email, I got the same runaround and information that you should know pre-orders don't always ship when they're supposed to. Please be patient??!?! PATIENT I HAVE BEEN WAITING OVER 2 YEARS TO GIVE THIS GIFT THEY CAN'T EVEN GIVE YOU A DIRECT ANSWER THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT REFUSES TO GET BACK IN TOUCH WITH YOU AND IT TOOK 3 DAYS AND FOUR MORE EMAILS TO GET SOMEONE TO CONTACT ME AND GIVE ME THIS LINE OF BS AS A SECONDARY MARKET APPRAISER PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY FROM YOUR FOR YOUR COLLECTIBLES BECAUSE YOU WILL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED THEY THINK PEOPLE ARE STUPID AND THEY ARE NOT 2 YEARS AND YOU CAN'T GET A SHIP DATE SERIOUSLY IF MY COMPANY HAD BACK ORDERS FOR 2 YEARS YOU KNOW I'D BE ON THE PHONE I'VE BEEN IN RETAIL FOR OVER 30 YEARS GET IT TOGETHER CRUNCHYROLL!!!
