What an Ebike this is!!!!
First using the bike without Emode is smooth and for me a unique experience, almost like riding for the first time. On flats ( 30kph average ) rides amazing, downhill even better and faster ( could have more gears :) ) so yes I have to say that as a normal bike it is outstanding, 5 stars.
As an Ebike I have to say that I really was surprised beyond belief, a lot of people talk about the 25kph speed limit assist... But even with Emodes on I'm always way beyond that limitation, you do feel a little resistance but it's great exercise , so I don't really get all that fuss...
My suggestion is , turn Emode off on flats and downhill, and On when climbing and it works amazing.
Bike looks good , feels good and rides even better 😃.
I commute 30km per day 5 days per week, plus trails on weekends, with this Beast I can cycle without feeling exhausted , the bike takes that edge off your legs enough for you to exercise and not to feel burned down... Which for me is everything.
So if you are considering buying one, believe me when I say it's a game changer.

So many issues with my Cube racebike, mostly due to the ineptitude of the dealer in assembling the bike.

Mainly the issue is to do with the back wheel. Firstly, rear kogel lagers not tightened so was incredbly unstable. Then hub was rough. Now that this is fixed but they have missed out a washer on the casette so that this rattles.

I own the cube Acid hybrid one 500 2020 model I have owned it for three weeks now, I am a 60 year old and this bike is brilliant, just what I was looking for, simply a breeze to go up any hill without much effort plus the 500 battery life is brilliant too, even without me using the power assist the bikes absolutely brilliant to ride well done cube top marks a brilliant bike.

Sent TWO emailS to Cube as they recently supplied some bikes to Tredz which are significantly different in description to their specification.
Opened a PayPal dispute with Tredz who are blaming Cube.
Cube have ignored 2 emails and a telephone call to ascertain if they have indeed supplied a substandard different bike to Tredz which we have been lumbered with for 4 weeks (unuseable)
Still waiting...... Hope my head doesn’t hurt until I get a response.

I purchased my new e bike in February 54’cube Kathmandu 500. I just loved the bike when I got it ,and now 7 months later with no problems I love it even more.

We bought our son a cube stereo 150 for Christmas, he had the most expensive bike on Christmas day, yet it was embarrassing, loud squeaking sound from the wheel.
Shortly afterwards a screw was coming out, which could have caused him a serious accident.
And now the worst part is that my son has now been without his bike for the past 5 weeks and we still dont have the part that cube are supposed to be sending (a free hub) absolutely disgusting, we would have had less hassle buying a second hand bike off EBay!!!
Apparently you can only use cube parts so be warned!!!

Absolutely disgrace company. Defects with the bike and no reply to my emails. To say the bike cost me £4000, does not make no difference that they still ignore you/me. I will be pursuing through my credit card.
I have learnt the hard way buying from abroad (Germany) but thats another story. I will not make the same mistake twice

I ride Cube stereo 140hpc TM serie Carbon fiber I have crashed more than 10 time and nothings been to this bike it's a perfect enduro bike this bike is absolutely amazing.

Cube Build quality is horrendous.
Don't touch anything Carbon fiber that cube supply.
Do not buy anything including cube through Tredz if you wish for any kind of after sales service. I have learned the hard and expensive way. You have been warned!

Initially really liked my new bike, then had a crash got the frame scanned and defects within the frame prior to the crash were found. Had the bike store where it was purchased contact cube. Its been 4 months and still haven't heard a response from cube regarding their safety specs for the bike. Bike store won't give back the bike until they hear from cube due to safety. super disappointed.

Bought my Cube Elly 2 years ago. It has been brilliant. Up hill and down dale. I’m quite disturbed to read all these negative reviews

I bought a cube2011 with durerace on, cost £2700 which was going to be my best bike, only rode in dry weather i have rode 2103 miles on it, i have just noticed a crack in the head tube at the front of the frame , all the rides in the cycle club can not believe it as this bike is like brand new, if i did not see this it could have killed me . If any body would like a photo of the crack reply to this and i will send it to you. Warning do no buy a cube bike, buy a TREK it has full life time on the frame as long as you have the bike.

Bought Cube Kathmandu Pro iridium´n´black – Trekking Bike two weeks ago from a German supplier as couldn't get any in the UK.

Built quality is excellent with a touch of German precision engineering. Have ridden it every day with a couple of rides along the Thames path around Oxford. I found the bike both comfortable and easy to ride. Only compliant if any is the weight it's 15.85 kg. May be because it's fully loaded.

Cannot comment on the long term performance but for now it's the best hybrid bike I have owned in the past 40 odd years of riding.

I have been very surprised at the number of bad reviews posted on this site for Cube bikes Within the last year, my wife replaced her first city style ebike that was proving unreliable as well as unsuitable with a Cube hybrid one 500 easy access (i.e. step through) ebike. It came with a large multi-lingual instruction book and a multi tool for completing construction that has been worth keeping. With a few modifications - better budget pedals, wider knobbly Smart Sam tyres, different mudguards to accommodate the wider tyres and the excellent Suntour suspension saddle post - it has proved to be a comfortable, rugged cycle that performs well on rougher off road forest and moorland tracks, just what she has been looking for in an ebike. So far it has proved to be fully reliable despite frequent exposure to off-road use. It shows NO sign whatever of poor quality construction or finish referred to by some reviewers on different Cube models. On our experience so far, we would recommend Cube e bikes as good quality budget ebikes. Post purchase customer service has been severely criticised by several owners. So far we have had no need to try to contact the manufacturer because no issues have yet arisen requiring such action. If this changes, we shall post an appropriate update.

Brought a Cube bike road bike 3 years ago. The frame is terrible it’s all cracking and paint work is peeling away. Just looks a complete mess. The frame which is the main part of the bike just hasn’t worn well at all. Of course there’s no warranty on them so nothing can be done. For an expensive bike it’s not worth it. Most bikes now have lifetime warranty on their frames.
Will never buy a Cube bike again.

I've had 3 Cube bikes all purchased from a large local dealer and can't really fault them up until this point, however the customer service is non existent so if you do run into a problem don't expect any help from them. The dealer is also struggling to get answers from them.

My Cube Agree GTC Di2 frame has worn out at the on the rear end drive side where the spindle sits, 3-4mm of carbon has just warn away meaning it's not able to support the rear wheel and it rubs on the frame.

The bike has only covered 4300 miles in 4 Summer seasons. Cube have come back with no explanation simply saying its out warranty.
For a bike thar first retailed at £2800 and its ruined after so few miles is an absolute joke. Cube have made no attempt to resolve the issue or even offer assistance towards getting a new bike or frame which is the least I would have expected. You'd have thought they would like to try and keep people on their brand of bikes but I guess not.

I will not be buying another bike from Cube and would advise anyone thinking of buying one seriously reconsider.
