The purchase went smoothly and the product is great quality. I had to contact the support during a previous purchase and I was contacted and helped quickly.
Cubicle 7 has a great website and their participation in the 'Bits and Mortar' program means purchasing certain books means you also get the PDF!
A good overall website but could use with some better navigation.
Prompt service that dealt with the issue I had. Quality products as always.
Purchase was easy and without delay. The absence of a physical book until october grinds a bit, but these things can't be helped. The product itself seems nice enough. It feels like a new version of Dark Heresy, sure, but it still doesn't feel a mere copy/paste. I need to check how the rules work in-game, but am still excited.
Great products!
Great pre order system with early availability of PDF versions of physical products + regular updates of the digital versions of purchased products.
Cubicle 7 is , to me, the gold standard of the RPG industry!
Cubicle 7 is (for myself at least), one of the best producers of RPGs on the market. Its extremely rare to see new versions of old RPGs do such a good job of being faithful to the old system, whilst simultaneously fixing many of the issues it had, streamlining play. I really feel like they've fully understood the core ideas of every one of their systems that I've played. The adventure books they produce have been second to none too. There's not been a single missed step. Really excited to see the new Imperius Maledictum RPG and where they go with it.
The web site is nicely organized and makes finding titles pretty easy. It's also nice to get PDFs along with orders and pre-orders of game books.
While I appreciate the focus of the blog on "the new hotness" I miss the monthly production updates that cover all their projects.
I find many glaring issues or missed information in your books, usually this is latter resolved but some future books will continue to make the mistake. A good example is that in the Sea of Claws y'all had traits on ships without a description of what it does and in future books like Lustria also continue to not describe it.
They make wonderful game rules with tonnes of detail oozing in every page
Great games, great customer service and quality of printed books are wonderful.
The quality and care of the lore sections of every book is amazing, and the games are very fun to play. However, it is near impossible to keep track of what new talent or career or item came from what book as they are often scattered and mixed into lore sections. Far too many books are lore books with minimal mechanics added in. Lustria is a good book, but it does not do anything the Lustria Wiki page does not do. Some lore heavy books are nice but most releases are like this, it would be nice to see more 60/40 splits of mechanics and lore in new supplemental materials and the new mechanical additions be a bit more organized in the books so it is easier to find them later.
Adventures in Space was mediocre, basically a rehash of previous material.
A Stitch in Time was clearly a collection of disparate scenarios poorly linked, none of which was particularly we'll done.
Oh come on guys - you know its about the products my brothers. Keep making excellent stuff and you can go back to a netscape era site and I'd still give you five stars. Six if you include a wee animated hotdog or something like that.
great service, got hands on PDFs straight away and messages about updates and changes. page layout on PDF is easy to read and clean text while still feeling it retains the style of preceeding material. love the updates and changes making a clearer and faster looking game with plenty of options but not the feel you'll need to search several chapters to find pages you need.
really quick service from website to check out
