My son bought a car in January of this…

My son bought a car from Curdworth Motors last year. We had the car checked over by a mechanic and all was good.
Once we collected it and after a few days, my son said there is a musty, damp smell in the car coming from the boot.
thinking about it, when we saw the car, the windows were all open (in Dec/January) plus when we collected it it had the windows open and a air freshener inside too.
I did call the owner about 6 weeks later and mentioned this and he said he knew nothing about this. My son has spent about £200 on professional cleaners to get rid of it.
My complaint is, not the car being mechanically bad, it isn't bad to be honest, but it's their integrity. they could have owned up at the beginning and we could have come to a compromise.
I would not ever buy another car from here as the cars are good, it's the people who are bad.

Beware of the smooth talking salesman...

I recently purchased a car from this company. It was high priced but what I wanted. When I took it home and checked it over there were a few issues that I had to put right. As if it had not been checked before I collected it. I reported the issues and they paid half towards putting it right. Then today I discovered that two of the tyres are damaged and are marked to show the damage. I think they would not pass an mot. Overall this is not what I expected, after they were so convincing that they said they looked after their customers.
