Great experiences, in-store and online

I love the website, and I love the store. Great experiences with both, and you always seem to stumble upon some new candy you've never had before. Great for gifts, or just treating yourself, this is my site when I want to spoil someone. Only gripe is that delivery is a little slow to N.Ireland, but for stuff this good I can wait.

Top notch

Fantastic company. Love the shops, and did my first online order a week ago. A little pricey, but to be expected of imports. I ordered a bargain box, and you get loads for your money there. I can't believe how much they packed in! I ordered a few extras as well, and they even threw in a free Hello Panda box. Whilst ordering I had a few issues with a voucher, and they couldn't of been more helpful. Truly excellent company.

Selection, Service, Soda

I'm a little baffled by the bad reviews for Cybercandy on this site. In my opinion, they are the absolute DADDIES of online candy delivery, and especially American soda. Their selection is AWESOME - where else can you buy Faygo, Stewart's, Sprecher, Avery's, Dad's... The list goes on.

You'd think the prices would be crazy high as the items are imported - they are not. Do a comparison with the other sites that sell imported American candy and soda - Cybercandy are almost ALWAYS cheaper.

I've had absolutely no issues with the customer service or speed of delivery - it's always been top notch. If you choose their premium UK Mainland delivery service the package will pretty much turn up the next day guaranteed, for only a couple of quid extra. The one and only time I had a delivery go astray, I simply emailed them and they sent a replacement out the very next day. Simple, easy, friendly.

I've got nothing but nice things to say about Cybercandy - they have an excellent selection, excellent service, excellent soda, and helpful staff. You ain't gonna find better!

Try Something New :)

I heard about Cybercandy when they existed as a single store in Convent Garden, and after reviewing their website I was desperate to find them. So, one miserably wet day, my partner and I popped in to London to pay them a visit and we were so thankful that we did!

They stock a vast range of products from different countries, which on one hand means there is always something new to try, but on the other hand does mean that sometimes your favourite item may be out of stock whilst they have a switch around.

Their prices are competitive compared to other importers, and yes you probably are thinking "£6+ for a box of cereal", but what you've got to remember is that a) you can't get it in the supermarket, and b) it would cost you a lot more to pop to the USA to get it yourself.

Cybercandy has since expanded and now has several stores plus a revamped website which is a lot better than it's previous. I do find it frustrating when they are out of stock of certain products for what seems like months on end, and perhaps it would be nice to see a loyalty scheme in place, but other than that they are a great company so check them out!

Impressive!

I ordered from CyberCandy to treat myself for my birthday, the only problem was choosing what to get! I ordered on Sunday and received my goods 5 days later on a Friday They dispatched on the Monday. I was amazed at the range of products and the prices are very fair. {Having visited a shop and also looking at amazon etc} CyberCandy was the cheapest I found and went with them and my experience was not disappointing.

I was very happy when the box arrived - the box had nice touches on it, a CyberCandy Robot and OM NOM NOM on the box - little things like that make me smile and shows they put effort in what they do. They even had multicoloured peanuts in which also made me happy! Fantastically packed and no problems with any of the products i bought.

Today i ordered and had problems with payment and emailed them and was very impressed with the response time - they managed to resolve my issue and help me out in a very friendly and prompt way within half a hour, not many companies can boast such a quick response time.

I will defiantly be using them again and again in the future - really good for gifts and getting products that are not sold in the UK. I would {and have} recommend them to friends! Also their facebook page is awesome and they hold competitions and giveaways - its nice to see a company interacting so well with their customers.

Thank you CyberCandy!

Great Products and Great Service

I have used Cybercandy literally for years to provide me with interesting and otherwise unobtainable stoking fillers for my kids and my other half. From strange and exotic Japanese sweets through the many varieties of Australian Freddos to the downright offensive Scandinavian Turkish pepper lollies I pride myself on avoiding yet another dodgy selection box from Asda. They also stock an huge range of foreign drinks including Root Beer. Why don't shops in the UK sell root beer?

The service I have received has always been outstanding. I have been able to change my order after placing it, I have had notification of out of stocks before they dispatch and when I've asked for it the substitutions have been excellent.

The Facebook page is an excellent addition to the customer service experience. Although it's only what I would expect from any company trading on line they are doing it right by responding to customers needs and giving instant feedback.

the measure of service is how it works when it all goes wrong and I think Cybercandy are doing it right.

Amazing Customer Service Online!

On a recent trip to Brighton last year my partner and I had visited the CyberCandy shop and he had been so excited about all the american candy that for his birthday I decided to order a selection of items from the website and have them sent up to us (we live in Edinburgh). I was a little unsure about ordering the glass bottled soda online as I have had trouble before with breakages in the post and companies saying "talk the the royal mail, it was fine when we sent it" and as anyone knows talking to the royal mail about a complaint is something akin to getting the ring to mordor.

I ordered 29th June, my order had been shipped on the 2nd of July and arrived a day later. When I opened the parcel I was amazed by the care and attention that had gone into wrapping every item, not just the glass bottles. As I was also ordering assorted cakes and candies they had boxed them in a smaller packet within my order so the glass wouldn't crush them. Inside that small packet every delicate item was wrapped (they bubble wrapped a single twinkie) and everything protected with packing peanuts. The glass bottles were all bubble-wrapped and then packed tightly with paper to keep them steady.

Despite all this care when I opened the parcel there was unfortunately one breakage, but the bottle was so well bubble-wrapped nothing else was damages or even that wet. I was actually so pleased at only one breakage after having traveled all the way up the country that I emailed CyberCandy to say thank you:

"My parcel arrivied a couple days ago and I just wanted to say thank you for the beautiful packing job! I was rather worried about ordering glass bottles but there was only one breakage when they arrived!.
We're coming to brighton again on holiday this year and will definitely drop in the store.
All the best and thanks again"

The very next day I received a response and an offer to replace my breakage even though I hadn't asked for it:

"I am very sorry that you received a parcel with breakages, we do not consider any such damage acceptable and will of course replace. Please let us know the nature of the damage and we'll seek to put the matter right."

So I responded to say thank you and let them know what had broken and received an email a couple hours later to say that my replacement item had been shipped!

I would definitely order from them again online and am very much looking forward to going back to the store this year.

Disgraceful

Just a warning - the Upper Street store in Islington, London has abysmal customer service. The staff were very obnoxious - they were more interested in playing games together than doing their job properly.

Really Bad Customer Service

I ordered 10 twinkies and 12 cans of Mountain Dew, everything was confirmed and fine. I chose next day delivery at 12:47pm (£5.50 by the way!) so i could enjoy them before i went on holiday, i recieved an email the next day saying the twinkies were out of stock at 5:25pm. I then recieved an email the next day at 9:53 saying they hadnt arrived and id be refunded the extra money i paid for next day delivery. Later that day at 12:40 i recieved an email saying they had arrived and would be sent out straight away. I followed it all on the HDHL tracking number i recieved, but HDHL had a problem with delivering them as they couldnt find my building, BUT cybercandy didnt tell me until a few days later when i emailed them asking what was going on, to which they said that HDHL couldnt find the building. I then went on to ask for a refund, and now it is over a week later and i still havent been refunded!
SORT IT OUT CYBERCANDY!

Terrible customer service

This is the 2nd time I have been let down by this company. 2 out of 3 orders being messed up has resulted in me wanting to warn others of their terrible customer service.
The first experience last year, myself and my son ordered a few things to try for a laugh, and then waited and waited for them to be delivered. I had received a confirmation email, so assumed they were on there way. However over a week later I decided to contact them to find out what had happened to our order, only to be told 'items were out of stock'. Great, thanks for letting me know.
The 2nd bad experience was actually this morning! I ordered a selection of bits and pieces for a birthday present. Received the confirmation email, then received a despatch email along with tracking details, (I'd opted for next day delivery). Expecting this to arrive yesterday as stated on my email. However, no show. Emailed this morning, then received a call about an hour later from a girl saying sorry there was a system error and the payment hadn't gone through properly, could I re-submit my details??? (which I couldn't do as at work, don't carry cards with me)
I explained that I had confirmation this was on it's way so didn't quite understand what was going on when I had it in black and white parcel was on van.
Very unhelpful, kept apologising but didn't offer any compensation. Doesn't help as needed items by today. I told them I thought their website has fantastic product but is really let down by such terrible customer service.
