Excellent customer service

The experience of buying my "new" car was as stress-free as such a purchase could be. No pressure sales, and good communication throughout. However, my 6-year-old motor proved to have a dying battery. I had to jump-start it once, and although it would start the car, it wasn't charging adequately when run. Batteries are normally excluded from the warranty, but Jason in Dace's warranty dept was excellent and understanding. He sorted me out with a replacement, offered me a couple of options, trying to minimise any inconvenience for me. The new battery was fitted same day at a nearby battery supplier, all costs covered by Dace. Excellent after-sales customer service.

Great first car buying experience!

Would like to thank Dylan, salesman at DACE Motor Group for their fantastic support in helping me to buy my first car, an automatic VW golf! Brilliant customer service and went out of their way to make sure I got the right car for me, remaining patient and not 'pushy' and even giving me a mini driving lesson (not part of their job!) when test driving cars after not driving for a long time! A hastle free experience that was most enjoyable and would recommend to first time car buyers to visit! Thank you!

Absolutely amazing service throughout…

Absolutely amazing service throughout the whole process. I dealt with Lewis, an absolute cracking guy and very professional. I travelled to Dace in Stockport from South Wales with a vehicle to trade in. Leading up to collection, Lewis was in touch at every turn to update me on the trade in details as well as the progress of getting my new car ready, all was super smooth. Agreements were in place ahead of the travel to Dace, my time in the dealership was no longer than 40 minutes and even that was taken up by chit chat from myself. I have today (5 days after trade in) been notified that Dace have sorted the finance on the trade in vehicle, quicker than expected!

My partner and I were so impressed, we are genuinely considering another trip up to get a second car from them.

Amazing dealership.

Easy, fair and not pushy.

Already had an idea what i was interested in before arriving, Callum made sure the process was quick and easy and was also not pushy on the aftercare products.

This made the experience pleasant, enjoyable and from start to finish quick.

I Bought my car from Dace yesterday

I Bought my car from Dace yesterday and I can’t recommend enough!! The whole service from start to finish was a pleasure. Callum was amazing, his communication and knowledge was great and he made sure I left with a stunning car that I’m over the moon with! Everyone that works there are so lovely, the receptionist and the car sales are all so friendly they really do make you feel comfortable.

Thank you all, especially Callum for making it so easy and enjoyable buying a new car. Highly recommend!

Jason in warranty claims dept made life…

Jason in warranty claims dept made life very easy, strut boots and brake fluid change on car only just bought sorted and as the external garage doing the work had issue with payment method we paid ourselves and we're reimbursed as promised next day..Jason had made contact in first instance following up the fact the car had thrown a fault,AA sorted that but fact Jason and DACE had chased the resolution was brilliant! Cannot recommend Jason enough,perhaps DACE could use him full time on the claims and relieved him of other duties that take him away from the desk 🤣

Jason the gentleman that has dealt with my daughters vehicle from the warranty department has been absolutely brilliant all the way through, keeping us informed every step of the way. When Jason wasn't available one of his colleagues Chantel (hope that's how you spell it) has stepped in and kept is in the loop. First class service thank you both so much.

Met with Lewis Birch who was…

I recently had the pleasure of dealing with Lewis Birch, and I can confidently say his service was exceptional from start to finish.

His attention to detail, warmth, and clear understanding of the car sales industry are second to none. From our initial meeting just a week ago to now, the entire process has been seamless — and we are now proud owners of another vehicle, prepared to the highest possible standard.

This purchase marks another step in a long-standing relationship, having now bought four cars from this dealership over the years. Based on this experience, I have no doubt we will return again in the future.

It’s often easy for customers to voice complaints, but just as important to recognise outstanding service when it’s delivered — and Lewis truly deserves that recognition. The level of care and diligence he showed was exceptional.

For context, I purchased an Audi e-tron GT last year, and the level of due diligence and customer care did not come close to what Lewis has demonstrated. That speaks volumes.

We wish Lewis every success in his career. He is a true ambassador for the company, and the team should be incredibly proud to have him.

Big shoutout to Jason at Dace Motor…

Big shoutout to Jason at Dace Motor Company — a man who clearly believes car trouble should come with a side of luxury and a good laugh.

I dropped my car off expecting the usual: mild panic, a dent in my wallet, and a long wait. Instead, Jason swoops in like a mechanical superhero, sorts everything out smoothly, and then casually hands me the keys to a BMW convertible as a courtesy car… because apparently that’s just how he rolls.

I’m not saying I wanted my car to have issues, but cruising around pretending I’m in a music video with the roof down definitely softened the blow. At one point I almost forgot my own car existed.

Top-notch service, quick turnaround, and a sense of humour (intentional or not) that turned a stressful situation into a mini holiday.

If your car’s going to act up, you might as well take it to Jason — just don’t get too attached to the courtesy car like I did.

I had a really positive experience when browsing for a new vehicle at Dace Motor Group. I was assisted by Jack Carroll, who took the time to show me vehicles that would suit my needs—especially making sure there was enough space for my two dogs and their crate—all within my budget.

His knowledge of the hybrid Volvo I chose gave me the confidence to secure the vehicle quickly, even while it was still being prepared for the showroom. Jack kept me fully updated throughout, including the service, MOT, and warranty options, which I decided to take.

I picked the car up just six days later and I’m absolutely delighted with it—so are the dogs! Jack was pleasant, helpful, and genuinely funny, and I really felt well looked after. He’s a real credit to the company

Have bought a car recently from Dace…

Have bought a car recently from Dace Used Car Stockport and the service that I was given by Lewis Worthington has been amazing. It was a distance sale but he has kept me up to date with delivery which they arranged (I'm in the south) and answered all of my questions without a fuss or any sign of inconvenience - despite having to find different things on the car. They have serviced and mot'd the car all without issue. Overall great service

Probably the best experience of buying a car I’ve ever had

I bought a Golf Gti from Dace yesterday and just wanted to say what a brilliant experience it was from start to finish! Dylan met me at the train station to save me walking. When we got to the dealership he made me a hot drink and fetched me the car into the showroom for me to view. We then took it for a test drive and Dylan said he could hear a rumbling noise coming from the front so when we returned back to the garage he got the mechanic to take a look, he noticed that the tyre was slightly worn on the inside so without any hesitation Dylan got me two new tyres fitted straight away and also sourced me some new mats for the car. I’ve only given them 5 stars because there isn’t an option to give them 6!! I would highly recommend Dace Motor Group to anyone who wants a hassle free friendly experience. Thank you Dylan !
