I am so glad I decided to tour Cornwall with Dacey's Cornish Tours. David was helpful and informative from the moment I made my first enquiry to the time we said farewell. As a solo traveler I appreciated small group size and the balance of group activities and time to explore the different sites at my own pace. David has a wealth of knowledge of Cornwall and I learned a lot. Highlights included walking sections of the Coast Path, exploring Port Isaac and seeing all things Doc Martin, and a beautiful evening at the Minack Theatre complete with a spectacular moonrise. I highly recommend Daceys for anyone wanting to explore Cornwall.

My husband and I are deeply grateful that we were able to join this tour. It was just a wonder every day at discovering the countryside and the villages of Cornwall. David took us to some great highlights and we loved the places that we were able to stay. Pushing ourselves every day was a good thing for us in order to see everything. I was able to take needed breaks to get ready for the next day. David and Ed made us laugh every day and we enjoyed learning about the culture and history of Cornwall.

I agree with all the reviews that the trip is comprehensive, personal, and extremely well done. David’s passion and knowledge of all things Cornish were inexhaustible. My only complaint was that I needed more free time and would have given up a couple little coastal villages for more time elsewhere. And David could slow down when leading walks!

I went on Itinerary 1 in 2022 and Itinerary 2 in 2024, and both were wonderful. 2022 was my first time as a solo traveler, and 2024 was my second. It was so easy with Dacey's Cornish tours. The small group of 14 was perfect for me, I met some lovely people, and David is very good at what he does. The hotels were unique, quirky, and efficient, with some great food and friendly staff. David does it all with efficiency and a great sense of humor.
I loved Cornwall before ever going there, and I will never forget that first stunning view of the ocean with sheep in the fields. One of my friends said my photos looked mystical. I recommend traveling with Dacey's Cornish Tours. You will be glad you did.

This is our second trip with Dacey's Cornish Tours and again it was a wonderful experience. The tour host is knowledgeable and passionate about Cornwall and we came away with an even greater appreciation for that part of the UK. The timing of each day was relaxed, but still busy. We appreciated the free time we had most days to explore on our own. One of the things Dacey's does well is to show you off the beaten path places that really reflect the Cornish experience. We highly recommend this tour.

I have done two different tours in Cornwall with David and they have both been fantastic. I'm sure I have seen more of Cornwall than I ever would have travelling in some other way. David is an expert in all things Cornwall and a wonderful guide. For sure Daceys is the only way to experience Cornwall!

David was an excellent tour guide! Having grown up in Cornwall, he has first hand knowledge about the history of the area, the people that live there, and the outstanding beauty of the place. He shared interesting information about each place we visited, and we each were able to explore at our own pace. This was the first tour My husband and I had ever done and it was perfect. David was fun and funny and the perfect host. The drivers were fabulous and the scenery was amazing, we were so happy not to be driving those narrow twisty roads. We had time to explore the way we wanted, hiking, touring, shopping, and eating all the Cornish pasties we could. Delicious! Loved this tour, wish I could do it for the first time all over again.

We had a fabulous time on our first visit to Cornwall with David. He introduced us to places of both historical value and of scenic beauty in a fun filled, enthusiastic and caring manner. What we particularly liked was the freedom he gave us to choose what to do and where to dine. We highly recommend David and Dacey’s Cornish Tours.

I would consider this to be a great tour. The tour guide (David), who has lived in the area, has an obvious love of Cornwall and is anxious to share the beauty with others. The van drivers (Ed and Steve) added to the fun of the drives. Both men live in the area and can share stories (and jokes) about the areas. I loved that David would take you to a place, tell you about the area, give suggestions and then let you go and explore (or not) on your own. My husband and I are hikers so we hiked and walked as much as possible. Others in our group were shoppers and they could spend time doing what they enjoyed. You can make this vacation exactly the type of vacation you want!! The hotels were comfortable, clean and very "European" (don't expect a king sized bed). We loved every place we stayed not only for the atmosphere of the inns, but for the great food!!
Here are some things that I loved about the area: the food was delicious, I mean REALLY delicious, the scenery was breath taking, the people (everywhere) were incredibly nice, the hiking, shopping and pubs were plentiful and delightful. I could go on and on.
I don't know how I lucked upon this tour, but I feel like I hit the jackpot when we signed up for it. I saw an area of England that is not heavily touristy but some of the most beautiful countryside I have ever experienced. Thank you David for offering this tour!!!

We don’t like tours but this was different. We didn’t want to drive to and through Cornwall with its narrow roads and having to drive on the wrong side of the road! Accidentally we searched for what looked like the best Cornwall tour and found Daceys on line. We really lucked out. It was, simply, the best tour we could have taken. Wonderful tour mates and ,unquestionably the best tour guide we could have had in David Warner. He is not only very knowledgeable but has a great sense of humor which made this more like going on a tour with a bunch of old friends. We, quite simply ,cannot rate this tour highly enough with the five stars permitted. We would give David and Daceys one hundred stars if we could. This tour was such great fun thanks to David, owner and tour guide. He is generous in every way when showing others the glorious side of Cornwall. Beautiful vistas, gardens and historic sites await the visitor. Unique hotels and restaurants are well chosen. Fans of Doc Martin and Poldark won't be disappointed. Hands down, David is the best tour guide! Funny, knowledgeable, solicitous, dishy (LOL). After being on many guided tours with 40 people cramped in a bus and having to unpack & pack everyday, this was a welcome change. We stayed in each Cornwall hotel for 2 nights. David gave us more time to explore each site on our own. The small group setting promoted deeper conversations, created a strong camaraderie that by the end of the tour, you feel like leaving your family.
I joined this tour because it is the only one that will take you inside the Mount of St. Michael. This former monastery on an island linked to the town of Marazion by a causeway is a site that should be on people's bucket list. Another site that I didn't expect to visit was the Lanhydrock House with its stunning gardens. I love the history of country estates.
The first time I saw the coastline of Tintagel, my heart skipped a beat, time stopped, and I was transported to a different century. I could stand on the top of those cliffs for hours. All the coastal towns we visited afterwards were all postcard-perfect, picturesque villages with so much history. I highly recommend this tour for everyone. Just make sure to bring hiking boots, your stamina and determination to climb those slopes.😉

The tour was everything I'd hoped for - and more. As a veteran of many organized tours, I found that David provides a fun and informative experience, while also providing time for exploration on one's own. His friendly and low-key approach creates a unique experience that I greatly enjoyed, so much that I've signed up for Itinerary 2 next spring. Thank you, David!

I loved every minute of this stress-free trip. David has thought of everything: unique hotels, lovely breakfasts, beautiful places to visit on the itinerary and the perfect combination of guided and independent exploring, information and hilarious humour! You may not realise you have Cornish Dreams until you do this tour, but Dacey’s makes them all come true. Such a fun trip with a smaller than the usual tour group of people, the scenery and excursions are amazing. From the atmospheric Tintagel to the soft beaches of St Ives, plus the wonderful gardens at Heligan, Eden and Lanhydrock. Enjoy comfortable hotels with great breakfasts and watch out for the fun fact and joke of the day 😀. Highly recommended.

Dacey's Cornish Tours was a blast! My daughter and I loved the small group comraderie, the varied attractions and the knowledge of our guide. We also loved our interactions with people we met in local pubs or shops. Cornwall is amazing for its beauty, good food, and friendly atmosphere.
