We had a good experience
We ordered a beautiful king bed at DCG Stores. It looked exactly as advertised and we love it. The footboard was damaged on one side though. Reading all the negative reviews, we got very worried that the company would not rectify the problem. However, there was no reason to worry, the team was responsive and eventually sent a new footboard. We would oder with DCG Stores again.

Not even one star. This places SUCKS!
They stole my money and they get away with it by leaving some stupid telephone message saying they can't talk to you because of Covid. But many other companies in the USA are operating just find from alternate locations due to covid. Now I'm stuck with a futon mattress that I paid $278 for and they won't even send a shipping label for you to ship it back or even allow you to pay the same freight charge they paid to send it. I don't mind paying to return the item, but the quotes I have for shipping a mattress from Nashville, TN to California by Fed Ex is $613 and by USP- $470. Are you kidding me? Pay almost twice as much to ship back the item that didn't fit (a screw-up on their part), and still pay twice as much as the item is worth to send it back for a refund that will never happen.
All I can say at this point is: If you are a lawyer please contact me so all of the hundreds of people who have purchased items from these criminals and gotten ripped off can together shut down this illegal alien operated business, purposely ripping off hard-working Americans who just want something to sit down on after working hard all day.
I have waited for 6 weeks for a futon…
I have waited for 6 weeks for a futon frame I ordered. Nobody got back to me. I emailed a bunch of times. They finally got back and said it was going to be even later, no idea when. I don't know why they are in business.
Bad customer service
I ordered a futon frame and got an email with order details. No information about shipping, but I figured I'd get that in a few days. I heard nothing more from them and emailed them 3 times over the next 3 weeks and finally got a reply that my order had been cancelled 2 days after I ordered the futon because they could not ship to California "at this time". (I find this particularly odd, since the business address is in California.) I did not receive a cancellation notification and was not reimbursed. I'm now having to pursue getting my refund. I understand things are difficult because of Covid, but that's no excuse for 3 weeks of no communication.

Not a one star even. Similar to story to above reviews. Can't reach then because of COVID and they make it hard to reach them. Send emails and call your credit card company and let them know. It's not ethical and misleading.
I cannot get a hold of them
I cannot get a hold of them through customer service line due to COVID-19, so I tried emailing them numerous times on when my product will be shipped. I am getting no response. I order my product over a week ago, and the charge is still in pending status in bank account. I guess some people don't care about being unemployed during this time.

We ordered a table on August, 08, 2020. Surprise! Your item you paid for is not actually in stock and has to be built in Indonesia!
Ordered a futon and frame that were both in stock for around $800 online. The next day I had an email that the frame was going to be delayed... By 2 months. I only bought the set I did because it was listed as in stock... To top it all off the card I used for this purchase (the only online purchase in months) AND MY CARD INFO GETS STOLEN AND USED ONLINE RIGHT AFTER MY PURCHASE. 100% DO NOT USE DCG STORES. Ive done wood finishing professionally and could tell that the build quality was poor for a near $400 dollar frame.. One side of a board was sealed and sanded but not sprayed, bad sanding with lots of ruff cut saw marks on them still and the glue job.... Clearly 2 parts were not clamped on the frame properly or at all and one side had glue smeared into the 2/16" gap ON TOP OF THE FINISH. Glue will not adhere to finish it needs to be on bare wood...... $150 bucks is all that level of cheap quality work is really worth. Id have been fired if I ever put something with that many mistakes into the showroom. Wolf brand makes a very nice futon matress. But the Nirvana arden frame convinced me not to buy the rest of the furniture for my movie room and dinning room table set from dcg. Lost a bunch of future sales and I'll make sure to spread my review around for as many people to see. Updating your listed inventory is kinda business 101 for online stores and DCG dropped the ball big time. Avoid getting ripped off.
Giving this company one star is one too many
Giving this company one star, is one star too many in my book. One cannot even speak with a customer service representative from this store to discuss their concerns and/or questions. It has to be done via email only and it takes on an average 2 days to receive a response back, sometimes longer. Additionally, the representative I dealt with via email, proved to be challenged with communicating. I had the unfortunate experience to be communicating with "Leslie" from this company, who in an email specifically stated "no customer is responsible for return shipping costs", when I asked her who would be responsible for the shipping costs, should I decide to return an item. I have her email to prove it and sent it back to her for her to review. Her response was sending me a link to the company's return policy. I would think a consumer should be able to rely upon the word of an employee, but obviously they cannot with DCG Stores. I returned the item, based on Leslie's response that no consumer was responsible for shipping returns. However, once I returned the item, Leslie had a different story. She said customers were responsible for the shipping costs. So to make a long story short, I bought an item for $200.00 returned it, which cost me $64.00 to ship back, and DCG Stores had the audacity to even deduct $11.00 restocking fees for the returned item and only credited me $188.00. In the end I paid $76.00 to end up with nothing! I asked in numerous emails to provide me with a supervisor's email so I could discuss this. Not once was this addressed. Leslie's response was "Hello, it looks like you already returned the item and got a refund.. Best, Leslie" How is that even possible that Leslie could have missed my entire point and request? It is unfortunate that DCG stores have failed this consumer, and by the looks of their reviews, have failed many, many, many more consumers, in addition to myself. I can only hope that one day this company needs to order an item from a company as bad as theirs, and they receive the same unprofessional and unsatisfactory treatment that they so flippantly pass along to their customers. In the interim, I pray that DCG Stores grows a conscience. Trust me, when I say, this has taught me a lesson to rely on reviews before making any future purchases with other companies. I doubt though, that any other company could come close to the poor treatment and service that DCG provides.
Never got my purchase
I ordered a youth desk on July 31, 2020. The site said it would ship in 2-3 business days. After hearing nothing from them after a week, I emailed them for a status. They emailed the following day saying my desk was on back order and was expected to ship on August 7th and I would get a tracking number when it shipped. I waited another week for the tracking number and emailed them back when I didn’t get a shipping and tracking confirmation. They never responded back to my email and they do not answer the phone. I noticed they did take the credit card hold off of my card. But still, DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM.
Bad Experience.
I purchased goods May 31st 2020 to be delivered in 2weeks. Today is August 11, 2020 no goods, no refund. I have tried to get my refund to no avail. I feel hurt.

ordered a specific color mattress and they sent the wrong one. After 3 months and 13 emails later, still NO conclusion to their mistake. They claim to be considering a replacement. I contacted the BBB and the state of California and are waiting to hear the results.

Horrible customer service!
After waiting for almost 2 months for a futon cover set, and countless emails later, they finally informed me that my futon cover set was discontinued and my order was cancelled by the manufacturer. So I then went online, found the same exact futon cover set at Wayfair, ordered it from Wayfair and had the futon cover set delivered in about a week after placing my order. I am still waiting to be reimbursed by DCG for the cancelled merchandise.
Great Futon
I just wanted to submit a positive review for DCG Stores, as opposed to all the negative ones I read. I ordered a futon and mattress on June 15th. I received both in separate shipments by June 30th - very reasonable. DCG was responsive to my inquiries and provided estimated ship dates, which were accurate. Both shipments arrived complete and undamaged. Bottom line is the futon and mattress are quality products. I am pleased with my experience with DCG Stores!

Nothing good to say about this company
I ordered a dresser and ended up canceling it because it was taking too long. I even sent an email stating that I wished to cancel. Almost 2 months after the original order, the dresser shows up at my house. I no longer have the money available in my account as it is allotted for my rent. So now, my rent check is going to be returned if they try to take the money. I'm not going to try to return an item I can barely lift. Terrible communication. Will never recommend or buy from again!
