I don't normally write reviews, but I have been so impressed that I felt I had to. I ordered a lamp from Decorelo during lockdown. It was a nice speedy delivery (I'm still waiting for a lamp I ordered from another company at the same time). Unfortunately, when it arrived it was damaged. I sent an email to them late on a Friday night; by Tuesday morning I had the replacement. Unfortunately the replacement was damaged as well (we think it was the delivery from the manufacturer that caused the problem). I gave them a quick call and they double packaged the replacement and sent it out. Next day - ta da, new lamp arrived in all its glory. My lamp now sits pride of place (and the lamp I ordered from another company, still has no delivery date).

All of this took place during lockdown - all communications from the company were speedy, helpful and friendly. Their response time to rectify the problem was excellent. Despite the problems caused in delivery, my lamp is certainly good quality. It is a nice and sturdy, golden goose! I have been most impressed with their customer service and I would certainly order from them again.

This morning, I received an email from Decorelo informing me, that I had £25 to spend (with no minimum purchase) through a VIP25 code. I was excited that I placed an order. It all went through online with no problems and the order was accepted. Part way through the day I received an email from Decorelo with "your order has been cancelled" in the subject line.

The email reads:
"Thank you for your order.

There has been an error with the code you have used in the checkout, this code can only be used on orders over £100, but for some reason allowed you to use this code in the checkout.

As I'm sure you can understand we can not fulfil this order, therefore have cancelled it.

Kirsty"

So I decided to phone them to question this, funnily enough Kirsty was the one to pick up the call. I explained that the email that was sent, did not have any kind of terms that she is now referring to, nor was there a minimum spend on the email, plus it went through their website at the time of purchase. She didn't seem remotely bothered about the mix up, nor that it was an error on their part, which she did admit.

I would recommend to anyone, who may be thinking of purchasing with Decorelo to look elsewhere. I will not be using this company again as the fault was a mistake on their part and I wasn't respected as a consumer.

Bad move Decorelo.
