Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs. Booked taxis for a week to get the kids to school day one late day three didn't turn up at all. Kids late for school had to walk 2 miles to school in pouring rain as they had no cars local. We live in Crosby were they're based. Useless.

Pointless use of tech

Rang delta and got automated answering machine, left a message. Didn't get a response and walked for twenty minutes till a black cab showed up. Got in my front door and delta sent a text with cab details. System doesn't work

Absolutely appalling customer service

Absolutely appalling customer service! If it was possible to get a minus rating, they'd win!

I'm disabled and had my first job interview for years yesterday at 12:00. I booked a cab with Delta the night before for 11:15 (it's a 3 mile journey).

It hadn't arrived at 11:17 so I rang and was totally shocked by the nasty, rude attitude of the woman who answered!!

She said they were trying to find a driver and that they were short, I said I'd booked and in an obnoxious tone said that taxi's weren't guaranteed and that she "suggested" if my appointment was important, that I should have made other arrangements. I explained that I can't walk far and couldn't drive myself, so how did she expect me to get there? She just kept repeating that THEIR TAXIS ARE NOT GUARANTEED!!!!! I got very stressed and ended up putting the phone down.

My husband kept getting calls from a driver saying he was outside our address but he wasn't because I was stood there! He phoned to complain and they said they'd send a driver and ring my number. A driver eventually turned up but I didn't get a call-back from them until 12:16 when I was in my interview.

I arrived at the last minute, having been made very anxious by this terrible company despite having booked a cab in plenty time.

DO NOT TRUST!!!

Very disappointed, nasty attitude

Booked a taxi for 6:15, it turned up at 6:28. We asked the driver to pull up at the house as he was parked further up the road and my (disabled) grandmother couldn't walk to it. He yelled at us and sped off. Absolutely disgraceful service would it not have been the speedy arrival of the next taxi. We were late for dinner anyway. My grandmother was very disappointed as she is a regular

Absolute joke of a firm

Used this firm three times in the last two months, it's not the drivers failure it's the company, not enough cars and over subscribed in too many areas, the business is ran by morons who's only interest is taking money from hard working driver, then taking no responsibility.
How licences are renewed for this company is beyond me any authority who actually cares about its residence wouldn't give these monkeys the opportunity to defraud the public

Scammer taxi driver

Just got a delta from West Derby to Netherton and I seen exactly what the meter was on (13.80). The driver covered the meter by leaning towards the window as we approached the destination and tried to charge me 19.00. When I said I'd seen the meter he started apologising. He knew exactly what he was doing, absolute scam artist who is getting reported. Delta you need to sort out your staff, you have a 1 star rating on trust pilot for a reason! Everyone please be vigilant when getting a taxi because its only going to get worse.

Expensive by Delta!

From Ormskirk area we paid £30 to get to Liverpool Pier Head however using Delta returning in the afternoon we paid £45 back! How can that happen?

I used Delta Taxis this morning to get to an appointment at Davey's Chemist in Dinas Lane from Knotty Ash. The driver was extremely friendly and helpful. I had accidentally dropped my house keys in the back of his cab, his next passenger handed the driver my keys. He then dropped his passenger off at his destination, then made his way back to Davey's Chemist in order to return my keys to me. I cannot thank this driver enough. He showed nothing but integrity and went out of his way in order to return my house keys to me. I would have no hesitation in using Delta Taxis and would highly recommend them.

Waste of time prebooking

Waste of time prebooking for a specific time. Cancelled the booking on app after 40 minute wait. Calling them to chase your taxi simply gets you miserable unhelpful responses.

Couldnt give a minus review so added 1 star !!
Completely over trying to get a response from customer services, just even an acknowledgement that is not an automated excuse , (blaming the hardworking self employed workers) for massively incompetent business practices. This is not the first time the service has been substandard (again not because of the hardworking drivers ) lack of care for customers, and a massive deterioration in what they deliver ! Delta are not the only taxi business in Liverpool, I personally after today will never be using them again ! I will not go into details because I have already sent direct messages , unanswered to the ??? CS ??, yes Customer Services ? does that even exist with Delta ?
I remember when Delta were the only choice , a great company, disappointing on all levels Delta !

I ordered a Delta taxi on the 20th…

I ordered a Delta taxi on the 20th April to take me to lime Street station I asked the driver if I could pay by card and he said yes the fair was around £7 I put my card on the machine contactless payment and got out of the taxi. Later in the day I checked my on line banking and seen an amount for £71 for today checked it and it gave a person's name of which I did not recognise so I rung my bank and they told me it was a contactless payment and I told them I hadn't bought anything for £71 and have been travelling on a train to see my son they told me it was done at 10.30 that morning then I realised the driver must have made a mistake rung Delta taxis to tell them but could only speak to a booking operator who told me to email customer services of which I did right away I got no reply whatsoever so I got back in touch on the 23rd saying to them I was going in to my overdraft and any charges will be down to them they then replied and said the driver made a mistake and apologises and the money will be put in to my account within 5 working days this has still not been put in as far as I can see but you can't talk to anyone about it I have left my phone number on the email so they could contact me but they won't I will now be looking to take this further. DO NOT USE DELTA TAXIS.

Trust pilot

Trust pilot , can you consider allowing minus scores , it suits my review.?
I am more than £400 out of pocket because of Delta, I pre booked an early pick up (5am)to get a train from Lime Street, i even allowed an extra 20 mins in case they were late , all you get is "the driver is on his way" , ...just tell me you have not got a driver ,happened twice now.

If I could give a

If I could give a - 5 I would !!!!!! I was driving a 40mph road and one of your delta taxis pulled out when I was doing 40 which is very dangerous. When I beeped the man put his finger up to me. I don’t tolerate abuse and swearing. The registration number is NG16 WXL. I have video evidence of this as well as pictures. When I rang delta taxi to inform them the lady was very rude and abrupt and put the phone down on me when I asked could I report the incident. I will be taking this matter further. Vile behaviour which should not be tolerate within your company. Vile people and vile company never use or book DELTA TAXI.
