The service is really lacking

Whilst the product (Amtico flooring is great) the service is really lacking. I paid for my product fully upon order, and then had to chase for my product to actually be fitted. I was lied to on multiple occasions regarding the fitting arrangements. We all appreciate delays happen especially in today's world, but the lies are inexcusable.

My order was with the Wales and West of England branch.

Dreadful experience

I wish there was no star option for this company. This is a re do of job done bad twice.

Multiple cancelled appointments with the last one not even cancelled but no one turned up. After I called to inquire I was told the fitter will be coming in the afternoon. No one turned up so I called again and I was told the fitter is stuck at another place so will not be able to come. I have small kids and had moved the furniture, moved multiple appointments to fit their schedule and have guests coming over the weekend....all the hassle to know it still can't be done on the booked date

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY! RUN FROM IT!

If I could give this company a 0 I would.

I raised a complaint in August 2020, today is 29th of June 2021 and they have literally just cancelled the replacement of our carpets at 0900, an hour after they were supposed to start replacing the carpets. The same day England are playing their fitter calls in sick... We have a 1 year old son who has had to be in childcare whilst we move all of the furniture ready for today's work and we have used 2 days holiday, as we were told the work spaces need to be clear prior to the workers getting there. All of our furniture and items are in one room, most of it dismantled and they haven't shown up. Now we have to book more time off of work as well as more childcare for the next appointment they make.

This company has for the last 10 months messed us around and made our lives stressful beyond belief.

Designer Contracts fitted our carpets in our home, they laid carpet over lumps of plaster and stones. The carpet they fitted had delamination issues. These issues were apparent before we even moved in. They sent several people to see the issues over the span of 8 months, all of these people said the same thing, that the carpet and underlay required a replacement. They then stated we had to wait to see if their supplier will refund them, they clearly forgot customers have rights, once I went over these rights, finally replacenents were discussed. 10 months (almost 11) down the line and 2 cancelled appointments and we still haven't had our carpets replaced. Keep in mind, we have a 1 year old and nylon keeps falling out of the carpet, we constantly have to stop him eating it. It's dangerous!

Was looking for new flooring for our dining room, happened to come across showroom in AShford , went in and fel in love with the flooring they had. The staff were fantastic, very helpful. Had someone measure and quote within week, which we accepted. WWE were going on holiday so they very kindly ordered it in and kept it till we returned then scheduled the install. Brilliant work, done in a day, very tidy cleared all mess, gave advice n care and left me with a beautiful new floor. Got follow up hone call to make sure I was happy, which I am. When I get my front room done will have no hesitation in using this company again.

Caused pain and discomfort to my dog.

Designer Contracts Falkirk.
I Had some Vinyl flooring replaced with this company and when i came home from work i was expecting my usual welcome from my wee dog, imagine how surprised i was, when i came home and there no sign of him or my usual welcome. On futher investigation, i found the dog was jammed in the dog flap that had been partially coverd over by the blinds that were pulled down and forced over the dog flap in the french doors thus only allowing the dog flap to half open. Also the locking screws were not fully returned to allow the flap to fully open. I can't understand why they even touched it, maybe getting a draught when working at the doors, I can understand why they lifted the blinds, possibly to eliminate the chance of damaging them when laying the vinyl, however, unsure why they tried to force the blinds over the dog flap partially covering the hole. After releasing my wee paI, it was apparent he had hurt himself, as he was only able to walk on 3 legs and was limping everywhere. No idea how long the wee sole was stuck there, i do however know the wee sole was in pain for most of that night and would not get off the bed, as he was unable to jump back up. I called Keepmoat the following morning, who got intouch with Designer Contracts who denied touching the flap. So according to Keepmoat thats end of the matter. As they carried out the work on their behalf, I was hoping for a little more assistance. I am so so dissapointed with the dissmisive attitude of Keepmoat and the actions of the fitters who caused my wee pal so much pain and distress. Happy to say he's getting better and it looks like he will make a full recovery over next few days. I Understand accidents happen and was only looking for an apology, however, all I got was denial and a dissmisive attitude. Not what i expected.
