I have been reading some reviews on Trustpilot and realised that we have never written a review about deVol. We bought a free standing Classic English kitchen from them, way back in 2008. I am sitting here looking at it now and love it as much today as the day we bought it. It is timeless, beautifully made & a joy to own.

We couldn’t be happier with our DeVOL kitchen. I cannot say enough about the impeccable craftsmanship and everyone who worked on the install was marveling at the quality of the cabinets and hardware. It is my dream kitchen and working with the DeVOL team was a truly wonderful experience.

We loved every minute of our deVOL journey, from our initial design meeting in the Clerkenwell showroom to the final finished kitchen. The attention to detail is impeccable, the whole kitchen is beautifully crafted and we just adore spending time in it. Thank you deVOL.

We chose deVOL because we admire their classic design aesthetic, craftsmanship and impeccable styling - their kitchens and boot rooms are the ideal backdrop for historical treasures, so they were the perfect choice for our old farm byre restoration at Hyrneside. The simply gorgeous result is just what we imagined: the Pantry Blue cabinets, brass handles and taps, farmhouse sinks and tidy open shelves don’t overwhelm the space but instead allow the history of the building to come back to life. Loved the process too - simple and easy. Looking forward to working with deVOL on our next project!

Having a DeVOL kitchen, for our luxury holiday let development, was always part of the plan as we have been big fans of their fabulous designs for some time. The superior quality of the kitchen is unquestionable but it is the stunning design that works so well with the open plan layout of our property. We were guided through the whole design process in a professional, friendly & relaxed manner, ensuring our unique requirements were met and, even though we carried out the installation ourselves, DeVOL were always available to answer any questions we had. The kitchen is practical, as well as beautiful, and is coping extremely well with the level of day to day usage it gets from our almost constant flow of guests.

We love our English cabinets!!! Our designer, Georgia was a pleasure to work with! We had some last minutes adjustments to our layout once the construction of our kitchen was underway - Georgia and the production team in the UK were able to quickly amend the plans. We truly had a wonderful experience with Devol and recommend them highly.

Everyone at deVol is incredible at their individual job, so the end result is seamless perfection.
We chose the Seb Cox, which is exquisite, and the eco credentials are fantastic.
We hadn’t seen a deVol kitchen in person before ordering, and couldn’t visit the showroom due to lockdown restrictions.
When our cabinets and worktops arrived, we were so delighted.
The quality cannot be surpassed, and the look is even better than pictures!

We are simply thrilled with our deVol kitchen. After a long nightmare NYC apartment renovation this was the last, and as it turned out, best piece. I could write pages but will summarize with praise for the service, quality, and aesthetics. The level of service provided by the team is fantastic - from design to install and beyond. They work cohesively together and were always super responsive and helpful. Everything came on time and delivery was seamless. As for the quality of the cabinets themselves, our kitchen got more use during the pandemic than we ever imagined it would. It has held up beautifully. (One human error nick? Easily fixed with a couple drops of extra paint thoughtfully provided is now undetectable.) Finally, the aesthetics. Our kitchen space was a typical NYC nightmare: small (8’x13’) with numerous obstacles (pipes and walls that cannot be moved, etc.). But the final design is not just functional it’s genuinely a lovely place to be. You can feel the quality and the difference from typical kitchen manufacturers (The reaction when friends see it? ‘Oh, I wish we had done this’). Lastly, I love that while we did a bit more traditional Shaker look for our pre-war apartment, the cabinets will last and the look can be flexible down the road with tweaks to the paint color, hardware, even an additional cabinet, etc. if I choose. I’ll stop now (!) but end with this: this is my fourth kitchen and I wouldn’t hesitate to use deVol again.

I chose to invest in a DeVol kitchen for an investment property which has turned into a buy-to-let. Its timeless appeal is a star attraction for tenants who love it and care for it as if it was their own. Working with DeVol was a highlight of the project for me.

Love our Sebastian Cox kitchen. From the design phase to the install the whole process was seamless and we are thrilled with our new kitchen. The quality and craftsmanship is beautiful.

Spent 30k+ on a Sebastian Cox kitchen and had a number of mistakes during the design phase, this resulted in appliances having to be sent back. Major issues with a large copper island top which blew away from the base and caused a large groove. Photos were sent but our project manager messed us around for weeks refusing to believe the photos. I refused to pay the balance and a copper worktop specialist was eventually allowed to come to site. Straight away agreed it was totally unsatisfactory, shame the project manager wouldn't believe us or visit. 6 months after installation the large pantry doors are bowing as well the dishwasher cupboard. Of course the natural wood movement excuse is covered in the disclaimer. I found it amazing that spending a significant amount of money that a designer did not once visits the site and you have to send drawings photos and measurements to them, very strange ! I thought you would get the full experience of designing it with Devol advising on the best way to use the room etc. The one time a guy came out he was just to check measurements which he did incorrectly which cause a lot of extra work. What you can’t fault was the fitters and the look of the kitchen it’s stunning. Would I do it again ? Not with the project manager we had.

We have the Haberdasher's Kitchen and prep table, with an aged copper surface. It's absolutely breathtaking and by far the stand out piece in our renovated cottage.
All of the staff, right down to the fitters, were outstanding. We cannot recommend this deVOL highly enough!

I haven’t embarked on the formal design process yet, but the two members of staff (Albany and Alexa, from the Clerkenwell branch) I’ve interacted with have been nothing but friendly, patient and so helpful. Communication with Albany was via email - she was always prompt and extremely informative. Alexa gave me nearly an hour of her time in the show room, answering my (many) questions and couldn’t have been nicer about it. A really positive start and has further convinced me to choose Devol for my kitchen re-design.

Beautiful kitchen design, very simple shaker style and a great colour range.
We initially had some chipping and marking, devol responded to our issues straight away and sent some to touch up and it looks amazing again.
Excellent customer service.

I had a design appointment with Petra in the Tysoe Street office. The whole process was extremely well planned and her level of expertise well surpassed my expectations. My kitchen has had to be put on hold temporarily due to planning permission but I would be very confident to progress with DeVol and the designs that Petra came back with were considerably better thought out than I could have done myself! Absolutely recommend.

The people at DeVol are helpful, friendly and professional.
Of all the manufacturers we have dealt with over the years I have to say that Devol are without question the best.
We experienced a few tiny niggles after a year and they sent out the original fitters to put them right.
No questions, no quibbles.
The kitchen is beautiful and the quality is exceptional.

We wanted a quality painted shaker kitchen based on traditional simple design simple and with quality construction but at a sensible price. We completed an very extensive search and chose deVOL. So happy we did and delighted with the end result. the kitchen needs to be the heart of the home and for us it is. For sure with such a large project not everything goes 100% to plan on all sides. From your experience deVOl understand this and the quality of service from the initial design stage with Helen through to supply from John and customer service was excellent. I highly recommend based on our experience. Great Mill showroom in Loughborough wHere we also picked up some stunning old pieces to accessories the kitchen. many thanks to all in the deVol team.

After reading the first and only review on deVol I feel I have to chip in -
We had a deVol kitchen made for our house AND because we love it so much we had the company make a custom vanity unit for our new bathroom too!!
I cannot fault this company - if I could give more than 5 stars I would.
We have TONS of storage space in our kitchen and a big cooker and and a big fridge too. And our kitchen is not very big at all (definitely not 6x6 as the other reviewer specifies).
We were incredibly happy with the service and design process for both projects (kitchen and bathroom vanity unit) and all the people we dealt with at deVol were polite and friendly to a T.
Furthermore, their designs are BEAUTIFUL!! Personally I feel they make the most beautiful kitchens on the market with great respect for the art of cabinetry making. The shaker kitchens have a light feel to them despite other shaker kitchens often seeming a bit 'heavy', they are elegant and graceful and quiet in their expression. Furthermore they are practical and user friendly, and I cook a lot so should know!!
I cannot say a bad word about the company or their products. They are simply amazing!

Awful design, poor quality. Despite the fact we have a kitchen over 6 metres by 6 metres, it has been designed so that there is virtually zero storage. The fridge is tiny and covered in a box - taking up space which could have been used for a larger fridge. The sink is so low down that you hurt your back! The 'ridiculous' island in the middle (over £1,000) has, again, no workable storage space. The two stools that come with it are impractical so nobody would ever sit there!! It has been designed by someone who has never worked in a kitchen in their life! Complete waste of £20,000! Choose any other company!
