Really pleased with the service I was given, I found the portal really useful to have a quick update on progress but also was able to ring and speak to our designated conveyancer Adnan. Initially everything seemed a little quiet but once the process got moving, I spoke with Adnan most days

Rend and the team have been professional and extremely helpful. Rend has made the sale of our property quick and as easy as possible. The service has been excellent and I would highly recommend. I can honestly say Dezrezlegal have made what is widely regarded as one of the most stressful times, very easy.

The communication and responses has been impeccable and never have we felt that we were out the loop or never knew at what stage we were at or what was required in regards to information/forms/signatures.

Even when our case handler was on holiday, the cover and handover was seamless and had an equally capable case handler as cover.

The online portal is regularly updated and provides a visualisation of exactly what part of the process you are at.

She was proactive, professional, and genuinely cared about making the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. Our property was probate so it would have taken longer than normal but thanks to Sara’s forward thinking everything was in place to exchange/complete as soon as the probate was granted.

The support, help assistance, information they gave me on my house purchase was absolutely brilliant. I had some personal issues that delayed things but thankfully because of them it all worked out and is giving me a better life. All the colleagues I have dealt with have been so good contacting me, explaining everything and been so kind and friendly. All colleagues at all levels of work are great :)

Dezrezlegal were recommended to us by our estate agents.

We used their conveyancing services for both the sale of our property and the purchase of our forever home.

Communication was second to non, start to finish. Made our experience very smooth, with regular and clear communication through email and by phone, with the added benefit of an online portal to track the progress.

We have formally sent a review to Dezrez Legal but they haven’t even replied or apologised for the treatment.
We were in a no chain on either side for a house purchase and it should have been a straight forward and quick process. Dezrez legal were painful to deal with that they often ignored our emails and were never proactive but would only act when pushed. We were assured we were ready to complete but turns out it was a complete lie and they hadn’t even done the early basic checks. This didn’t stop there, we also were sent multiple incorrect documents. One was ineligible which we raised and were responded with “don’t worry I’ve used this form before”, we refused as it was a ‘legal binding’ document so how could we sign this. Once raised multiple times through email and eventually answered the phone they agreed and found one that we could read. The biggest issue was that they sent a form through to us with someone else’s information. When raised we were informed that they hadn’t checked the document but instead just forwarded. We are extremely concerned with their data protection and raised this with them but no response was recieved. We are not surprised at this as Dezrez has always been difficult to get hold of and often felt like we were being ignored despite being one of the more expensive solicitors on the market. Also ignore their website the prices are A LOT more and outdated.

Avoid this firm at all costs. Dezrezlegal have caused me immense stress, financial loss, and left me homeless for an entire weekend due to their complete mishandling of my completion date. There was no urgency, no accountability, and absolutely no care shown for the consequences I had to face.

I raised a formal complaint in early February, followed up again in March, and I have been completely ignored ever since. Not a single response. Gareth Richards, who I addressed directly, has refused to even acknowledge my complaint. The silence is deafening and disgraceful.

This company has taken no responsibility for the chaos and costs they caused. I have been treated with total disregard, not taken seriously, and frankly, abandoned. I’m now out of pocket, still chasing answers, and absolutely appalled by their so-called “service.”

I will not let this go. I will escalate this as far as I need to until someone takes me seriously and is held accountable. This is not just bad service – it's negligence, and nobody should be put through what I’ve experienced.

I have used them for selling my house and buying my new one, I’ve lost count of how many times I have complained or had no response to a email, would never use them again, if I wasn’t half way through a sale I wouldn’t be using them, communication is so bad

I would recommend this company to anyone wishing to sell their house. There professional was excellent and knowledgeable for any of my questions.

After using Dezrez Legal through the recommendation of the estate agents we were pleasantly surprised at just how responsive and communicative they were. As first time buyers myself and my partner were novices who had always heard complaints at how long and frustrating it can be to deal with solicitors, our experience was the furthest thing from that. Charlotte was very approachable, personable and prompt and delivered our project start to finish in 10 weeks which we were blown away by. The app Dez Rez use makes the (short) wait less painful as it was updated live almost every other day so you can see the exact progress the team were making. Would recommend in a heart beat!

Dezrezlegal changed my point of view around conveyancing which is thought to be time taking and full of delays but my experience with dezrezlegal was completely opposite. Communication was poor. Phone calls unanswered until day of exchange. Despite being assured we were ready to exchange, at the point of exchange it was discovered that forms needed to be redone. These should have been completed weeks before. There was then a last minute panic to to receive, print, sign and post in order to make critical dates including completion. What should have been measured and considered was stressful.
