Low credibility tabloid journalistics

I tried Di as an international customer to get local highly informed quality investing advices. I was specifically interested in a few specific companys.

What I found was low quality journalistics that lacked substance without real fact verification and integrity, hence utterly unreliable.

They were driving a thesis, an agenda
instead of factual reporting more akin to
a bloody tabloid.

I did infact use auto translation and I was quite surprised. I reached out to a Swede and he confirmed that my auto translation was correct enough.

I do not recommend anyone to use this service for any investment based information nor to get a sentiment of the Swedish markets.

My advice to the company is to start proper fact checks and write indepth knowledgeable quality articles.

Steer clear

I finally got out of a misleadning contract with this publisher which advertised a free three months, but did not sufficiently display the fact that it was binding for a year, leading to costs over 3000 SEK. I ended the contract a year ago and they are still spamming me with phone calls trying to get me to sign again, despite me telling them and writing them to stop contacting me. A complete travesty and a sham.

Good and bad

DI is Sweden's premier finance publication. The articles are good (5 stars), but my recent experience with their data for trading is abysmal (1 star). Every stock trading in Sweden has a listing that is supposed to be updated with a delay of 15 minutes. The pages are nicely designed containing share price, intraday high, intraday low, shares traded, most recent comoleted trades, news about the company, and more. HOWEVER... The pages are not updated with a 15-minute delay and different sets of data are updated at different times, so a graph may be half an hour or so off when compared with buy and sell orders and most recent trades. The failure to automate the updates and to use the same data (time) for everything presented on the page is astoundingly poor. One would think that di.se could afford to hire a decent website developer, but apparently not. This may be the reason (along with changes to di.se 's forums) for why so many Swedish investors have now shunned all but the articles, turning instead to avanza.se and other trading sites. I have used di.se for decades and can attest to the deterioration of the trading coverage service as well as the forums.

Criminal publisher?

Others giving one star to Dagens Industri have been fortunate compared to me. The paper might even have become worse.
As many others, I signed for a three months trial, but ended up stuck for one year. BUT THATS NOT ENOUGH! After having paid around 700 dollar for one year, the company simply prolonged the subscription for another year!
This made me of course furious, and after many mails with no concern of my refusal to be stuck to their paper, I finally got a message that's I've got rid of them. Never use any of the Bonnier Companys ( the owner) products. They have simply no control of one of the flagships, Dagens Industri.
TIP: ALL WHO EXPERIENCE SIMILAR PROBLEMS WITH DAGENS INDUSTRI, MAKE A COMPLAINT AT KONSUMENTVERKET ( consumers rights association)ONLINE. They may start a check up of the company.

Same issue. Not honest.

Same issue. Totally misleading to assume that i have agreed to a 12 month paid period after the 3 month trial. They say i should have received a warning 1 month before the end of the 3 month trial. I did not find it. I did get all the other emails. They said it could be in my junk folder as this specific email is an automatically generated email by DI. So how can they tell me that i have received a notice warning if they themselves advise me that it could end up in the junk folder that is automatically emptied after a certain number of days.

Intentional Deceitful Marketing Tricks

Misleading and deceitful marketing tricks. I have not given consent to a 12-month binding period. When I signed up for a trial period of 3 months for SEK 49, it did not appear that it would not be possible to cancel the subscription for an entire year after the end of the trial period. This is deceitful and unethical business practice.
