I purchased a dream engagement ring for my fiancée, finding the ideal design from the Diamond Factory. However, this was the only positive in what has been both a disappointing and poor experience, after the initial delay in collecting the ring, with the experience taking twice as long as advertised. I asked for a small resizing of the ring, upon recollection it began to fall apart within 2 days losing diamonds and the emerald becoming loose. The Diamond Factory confirmed that this was due to porosity in the creation of the ring and offered to make a new ring using my original selected stones. They estimated this would take 2 weeks almost 7 weeks later and the ring has not been returned. They have also stated that they did not use the original stones and with the most recent email stating that the ring would not require a re-hallmarking despite them making the replacement from scratch.

I have found the customer service to be amongst the poorest with little to no updates on the product, when they do arrive it is usually up to two weeks after the initial inquiry and multiple chase emails. When calling you will receive conflicting information with different service reps providing conflicting information.

This experience has led to my fiancée having the ring on her finger less than the Diamond Factory has had it since I proposed 3 months ago.

I would not recommend them and will not be using them for Wedding Bands, I strongly urge for anyone reading this to consider alternate jewellers. What should have been amongst the most exciting time of our lives has instead turned into a nightmare.

I sent an email on the 5th May asking when my order would be delivered and your customer service team told me it would be w/c 18th May. I received my order on 6th May. It seems that your customer service team just say anything without finding out the facts. I am happy with the product but not the customer service or communication.

The whole transaction was superb from end to end. The website is easy to use and makes customising the rings so easy. I had an online video call with Sophia which was informative and really helpful. Then an instore appointment with Jen who was very knowledgable. Followed by the pick up appointment with Sophia, again so helpful. I think the jewellery is great value versus high street jewellers, you get to customise your items to fit your budget, and the staff are great - they really know what they are about! My only difficulty was getting parked in Leicester Centre, but that is hardly the fault of Diamonds Factory! They were very patient and waited for me. Brilliant experience.

Great service

Took quite a long time to arrive. Ordered a full diamond eternity band to go with my half band since having a baby. The ring is not as elegant and the diamonds are no where near as sparkly as on my half eternity ring event through the band's are the same thickness. Paid sale price so keeping because it's more hassle to return. Otherwise it's ok. It doesn't snag on material and looks alright.

They made a fairly stressful situation picking a ring for my partner a breeze.... Really helpful couldn't do enough great knowledge.... And loads of support during and after buying.... Big 5 star review from me.... Oh and the ring was beutiful.... Thank you diomond factory liverpool

Excellent guidance from early query to delivery

Helpful and friendly staff in store, my ring was created especially for me and sent recorded delivery. Process was super quick and I was kept updated via email of its progress whilst it was being made. My ring is beautiful ! Thank you

Superb service from start to end. You’re welcomed when you enter the store and guided through the whole process which I must say was a breeze. Then when the order was ready to collect again the process was so easy. Highly recommend the guys at the Manchester King Street store ! A+++ service

Incredible service and amazing product

I'll be honest I was initially a little sceptical of the name of the company but after some research I booked an appointment to visit the Cardiff branch.

Lucy and Teya were superb in helping me choose the ring. They took the time to explain the different options and talked me through all the details before I purchased. The whole experience was relaxed, professional, and genuinely helpful. Overall it was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend.

You sent a ring without the stone certificate, it might not even be genuine. A serious company doesn't work like this. You're probably not English.8!

Exceptional service - great product - and good value

After more than 4 weeks, I finally received the earrings and ring I had chosen. They are beautiful, but I got the ring size wrong. I was absolutely unable to contact them in any way. After placing an order worth more than €2,000, I now have to look for another place to have the ring resized. I would not recommend this website to anyone, and I certainly would not place another order!
