Melanie at Horlicks in Longfield Kent arranged my husbands funeral and I was so impressed I went back to her to buy my plan

I purchased a funeral plan several years ago with Age Concern taken over by Dignity. Due to a recent death in the family and the problems faced I decided that a direct cremation with ashes returned to my daughter was kinder when she faced my passing. I was surprised I had to cancel my current plan and pay a cancellation fee. To have the plan I wanted, I had to start a new plan with a different department. Surely an amendment to my plan would have been more appropriate, a conversation with one person, no two, with an admin charge if necessary, and any refund to follow. No problem with the staff, just in my opinion the system is wrong.

I was asked by my gran to arrange a funeral plan for her I chose Dignity as when I first enquired I spoke with Karen mellerup, a lovely lady who conducted herself professionally but with a warm heart making me feel at ease as soon as we had spoken and was followed by a warm welcome when we met which helped a lot 5 out of 5 stars from me, Thanks again much appreciated.

We found Hinckley very helpful and very clear as to what we both wanted for our Funerals. The follow up from Dignity was first class with all the information. It could not have been better very pleased with the service so far and would highly recommend.

I visited Hutesons in Barton-upon-Humber to set up a funeral plan. The staff there were all really helpful and friendly but especially Caleah who was the one helping me set up my plan.
She was very kind and patient and took the time to explain everything fully. She covered every aspect of arranging a funeral, including things I never realised I might need, and made sure I was happy with everything every step of the way.
I left feeling very happy with the plan I had arranged and feeling very confident in this company due to the thorough and efficient service they provide.

The service was excellent. Everything was explained to me, and they fulfilled all the wishes I had. They were very caring and put me at ease. I can't praise enough the service I had and would like to thank the funeral planner and the funeral director Chris who was understanding and professional.

The person I dealt with was very knowledgeable and provided details of options available to me and also what the costs were. In my opinion it made the task easy.
