Excellent service
Ordered a pair of trainers. The price was competitive and delivery was prompt. However the fit wasn’t right so they were returned. The return process was simple and the money was refunded within the week. Communication was good, and would buy from them again. Recommended.

I am disappointed with my experience…
I am disappointed with my experience with Direct Tennis. The autofill form on the website pulled in the wrong address details, something that has never happened to me with any other retailer. Instead of acknowledging the issue, the team insisted it was my error, even after I flagged that the form on their site is not working correctly.
I paid for express delivery and then had to pay again for redelivery, which should not have been necessary if the website functioned properly. On top of this, instead of sending a replacement pair while the original parcel was already on its way back to their warehouse, they insisted that I wait for the full return, processing, and reshipping cycle. This has now dragged on for weeks for a simple pair of shoes.
The customer service response was slow and dismissive, and there was no effort to resolve the issue without extra cost or delay to me.
I expected better care for a straightforward order and a clearer willingness to take responsibility for a faulty system. This experience has put me off ordering from them again.

The address auto-fill feature on our website is designed to make the checkout process easier for our customers, but is simply an aid and, as with any website, we would always advise checking that your delivery details are correct before confirming the order. Further to this, we do send out confirmation emails that include the delivery address in the way that is has been entered by yourself as a further check.
Unfortunately we are not able to send out replacement items until we have confirmed receipt of the original item.

Excellent service from start to finish great product but unfortunately had to send them back as my husbands feet are wide , sending them back was quick and easy and I got my refund back into my bank within 5 working days I would highly recommend

Beware tennis racket purchases from this company. We ordered two tennis rackets online
We ordered two tennis rackets online. My husband's racket was fine and had the correct sized grip. My racket grip was too small and after trying it out carefully once I sent it back. I was refused a refund as I had taken it out of its cellophane packaging! I could not even swop to another racket with the next grip size up. I don't understand how a tennis player is meant to test out a racket without holding it!! Unfortunately our local sports shop has closed down. Please be aware of this when purchasing tennis rackets from this company as they are expensive.

In order for us to accept returns, items must be in their original packaging and in an unused condition. All items are received from the brand in their own packaging, and we are not able to repackage any items on site. To ensure all of our customers receive products of a high quality and in an unused condition, all items returned to us must be in their original condition.
As your racket was returned without the plastic on the grip, and with tennis ball felt in the strings, we could not confirm it had not been used. We are sorry to hear you are dissatisfied with the outcome of your return. However this is in line with our Returns Policy, which is available to view before making a purchase, and is in line with our competitors.

Super quick service with custom stringed racket. Broke my racket on the Monday night, ordered replacement with custom restringing on Tuesday morning. Racket arrived Wednesday, well packaged and ready to use.

Unreasonably return excuses
I purchased a pair of Yonex shoes from them, but the size of the shoe is too off the scale, my shoe size 3 and as advices by the website at least half size up, so I chose size 4.5. When I received the shoe and tried on, still very tight therefore filed in a return. After few day, the company sent me back the shoe claiming that it has a stain on the heel and unfit for resale. I couldn’t attach a picture to prove them wrong in here. Such company never use again! Beware this company will scam you if you want to return any item. They should put the return policy not accept any return. This happened with other reviews as well.

Our system shows this particular pair of shoes has never been sent out on another order and so we know this damage/wear has not been caused by a previous customer. Know what you want before you decide on the shop
I was looking for a particular indoor court shoe for squash. DS had them very well priced (not the cheapest) but to me they are a recognised name for sport kit. Delivered as expected with enough notifications and no issues. I also had the added bonus of the shoes fitting perfectly first time which doesn't always happen.

I sent back an Adidas Tennis skirt and…
I sent back an Adidas Tennis skirt and I was sent it back saying I had worn it. I have not worn it still had the label on also they said that it smell of washing powder I had put it with my washing that always smells lovely but I can assure you I did not wear it. The customer service is appalling.. I will never use this company again and I would suggest be very careful and make sure you take pictures of when you receive the item and when the item goes back.

Your skirt did not have the swing tag label attached to it when you sent it back to us. We do need this label as it has the item’s unique barcode on it which is what we use to scan the product in and out of our stock inventory. This skirt has never been out to another customer and as the label had been removed and the skirt smelled heavily of washing powder, we can deduce it has been used whilst in your care. As we do not sell used goods, we are unable to accept your skirt back from you for either a refund or an exchange.
