Have been streaming discovery plus for years and love some of the shows but as of today when they are now showing ads you can't skip I have cancelled. It's not like you can pay and extra couple of £s not to see ads.It goes from £3.99 to £33.99 WTF ?? and you HAVE to get sport?.I hate sport.Talk about a rip off!

Discovery/TNT took over cycling coverage from Eurosport. My subscription went from £40p.a. to £30.99p.m.

To add insult to injury Discovery saturated paid for.coverage.witj endless ads. Worse still, they bill to the minute so my subscription which was valid until 28.09.25 ended at 18:30hrs - mid.way through the Cycling World Champs 🤬

A company that can take.enjoymem away from sports fans.

Relaunch of app is absolutely terrible to the point I'm seriously considering ditching. Constant crashes, sound drops outs, significantly worse functionality. New updates may often include changes users don't like but the improvements are there as well, this is just overwhelmingly terrible. Whoever designed or signed off on this needs their head examined if they thought this would improve user exoerience

We enjoyed some of the programs on discovery plus but since they have introduced ads it has ruined it. There are more adverts on this channel than ITV but at least when you stream ITV you can skip the ads and you don’t have to pay for the channel.

Update are supposed to improve your experience but this is clearly not the case with this one. I’m a MotoGP lover and now can’t watch the main race, can’t find the Moto3 race, couldn’t find the Moto2 qualifying and the removal of the TV guide is ridiculous. Sort it out Discovery+ and quick, 98% of these reviews are all saying the same.

What an absolute pile of turd. Quality is ridicules at times, the time stamps never add up when watching back, whoever built the website to watch back on needs firing as it's so messy and difficult to use. Worst of all they continue to upload the wrong footage for what's on the title. It's either the build up to a race when it's supposed to be the full race. I've even had it in the past where the I've clicked on the moto GP race and it ends up being football or bike racing. You'd think with all the money from subscriptions they could run a half decent service. I take they never look at the reviews. Why as customers do we put up with the crap. Back to streaming from somewhere else I feel.

The updated menu is useless. One of the most important races in MOTOgp Japan is not even on just commentary that stops before the race. Who ever came up with this new menu needs replacing. There was nothing wrong with the old format. If it stays like this I will

Updated app is absolutely shocking. Why change something when it works perfectly fine before! Can’t find anything doesn’t give you the option to see the channel schedule. Programmes don’t load or kick you out when you try to skip to key events!

Discovery plus doesn't even deserve 1 star. They are an absolute disgrace of a company. I signed up on the 18th September and payed £30.99 to be able to watch the football, everything was fine at first but then I got logged out of my account and now apparently it doesn't exist. I've been on chat, phone calls and even logged a complaint. Avoid at all costs.

Absolute Pathetic APP now, the latest update has made it more or less so annoying to use that you dont want to use it. Speeds are slow, tv guide gone so you cant plan what to watch, finding the sport you want to watch is not alphabetical so you have to scroll though garbage to find your sport, the APP is now far from intuitive to use, like its been updated by someone who wants it to look pretty rather than be user friendly. Utter Garbage

Don't put poxy adverts on something you have to pay for and why!! Just pure greed im gonna be unsubscribing

Quite possibly the most appalling app available today.

Whoever the product manager is for the Discovery+ app should be ashamed of themselves. It is leaps and bounds behind every other streaming app I use.

The home screen is always occupied by suggestions for apps I have never watched or wanted to watch.

The 'continue watching' feature always gets it wrong, playing either a previous episode or jumping back to the start of the episode rather than picking up where I left off.

Playback is frequently interrupted by adverts for programs that you have no interest in and will never watch, and you can't even pay to get rid of them.

When the app forces you to update (you can't skip, you have to update or it won't open), you'll find that when you sign in again your subscription is unavailable. Once I resolved that, the app decided that I wanted everything in the Bulgarian language by default.

If you want to find a program that you watch frequently, you'll not find it in search history, you'll have to find it from scratch each time you want to watch,

Programs that you do watch will have series missing. For example, you can watch Wheeler Dealers Season 1, but Seasons 2 and 3 are nowhere to be seen, you have to go straight to Season 4.

If you use multiple devices, don't expect the app to remember your preferences or show history between devices.

In summary, you can usually a find way to use the app to watch what you want, but it won't be easy.

I loved the last layout, I could go to "my list"and it was super easy to get to the show I wanted to watch,now it's like spinning the freaking wheel of fortune to scroll to the list.

Absolutely shocking!

Surely this isn't progress.

I love a lot of the shows but this is making me think about cancelling subscription that I've had for years.

Apps updated, looks good to be fair, paid the non refundable £3.99… ADS IN EVERYTHING, begging of a show ADS 3 times in the show a set of 5 ADS!

Went onto my discovery plus app today which has been updated.
Much more difficult to use. As you use your remote to negotiate the screen, nothing highlights to let you know which program you are accessing. You need to count 1 down, 3 across etc, then it's infuriating if you have misjudged it. You watch the 'wheel of doom' only to discover you have selected the wrong program and need to repeat. Also an existing series you are watching does not have the line that indicates you have watched a particular episode. Highly annoying.
Considering we pay for this app, at the very least it should be user friendly.

What alot of rubbish half the season on most of the series don't work what a waste of money even for 3.99 don't subscribe

I was at first appalled and shocked by the massive hike in price from £6.99 per month to £33.00 this alone is an extremely high rise in price but to add a further injury to this disgraceful hike in price, they have the nerve to call it premium and the bombard you with constant adverts with very short time in between, you therefore miss all commentators comments because this is when they choose the time to bombard you with advertising and to add further injury to this extortionate pricing the adds as well as being far too often they're extremely repetitive and predominantly business related i.e. targeted towards business owners. I wanted to watch Laver cup and one of my favourite parts of Laver cup is the team cams so you can hear strategies and team members encouraging other team members but none of that can be seen any longer as this when TNT and discovery are running the adds, so every three games of tennis you get adds there was even a few times last night where a game was missed because of the adds running. I feel like I paid £33+ to help Discovery+/ TNT to advertise I'm absolutely disgusted and will never subscribe to Discovery+/TNT ever again what an absolutely greedy streaming platform don't waste your money it isn't worth it. I'd have given no stars if I had that option

Had to buy to watch Veulta.
Over 15 mins of adverts in the highlights.
Very unstable platform.
Very slow navigation. Go too fast and whole app resets.
Poor value for money.
Shame Tour de France is going over next year.

Champions League .. absolutely rubbish.
Can’t watch replays .. continuous errors.. app is diabolical. Americans can’t do proper sports !
Continuous adverts though paying full price.
Plus I see they do not respond to reviews that shows they are not interested as they have the monopoly on CL 🥺

Pay to watch and all you get is advert after advert showing time and time again. Utter repetitive drivel.
