Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 91 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many consumers strongly feel that the streaming platform is driven by pure corporate greed, charging exorbitant monthly subscription fees while constantly bombarding viewers with endless and repetitive commercial breaks during live sports and entertainment events. Some reviewers were not happy with the clumsy application interface, noting that searching for favorite shows, checking schedules, or navigating menus has become extremely complicated and frustrating. Furthermore, people frequently mentioned annoying technical problems, including sudden login errors, unexpected streaming dropouts, and persistent difficulties trying to manage accounts or cancel unwanted auto-renewing memberships.

I just found out you can't get ad free…

I just found out you can't get ad free account. Why offer a basic package, a sports package and both have bloody ads on them. Just a joke, I can't wait homestead rescue as it's painful watching 10 minutes of tv following by 3-5 mins of ads. It's like you saw what worked for other streaming services and did the opposite.

Its also hilarious how bad the reviews are on here and yet you won't change anything and they wonder why people pirate stuff...

Unaffordable subscription

£7 per month to watch Discovery+'s excellent cycling coverage was superb value and I would have paid more (to a point). However to bundle cycling in with all other sports (which I am not interested in) and hike the price to £31 gives me no choice but to cancel my subscription so Warner Bros get nothing and I lose interest in cycling. A lose lose situation for everyone. Why not offer a single sport subscription option??

Daylight robbery and corporate greed

I've had a Eurosport subscription for over 10 years to watch Superbike racing. For this entire period the subscription was just under £4 a month.

Discovery Plus took over the rights and my subscription was transferred over. To start it was the same price for an introductory offer amd after the offer it then would go to £8 a month. This was double whay I had been paying but I decided to keep the subscription.

Anyway, today I went to watch Superbikes and I couldn't, as I now to to upgrade to the higher subscription to be able to do so which is an eye watering £360 a year!!!

So in less that a year its gone over 700%

This sort of increase should be criminal.

Absolutely disgusting and I have been forced to cancel my subscription.

Absolutely nothing but corporate greedy!

RIP OFF TV

What a ridiculous price hike from £6.99 to £30.99 I only watch Superbikes and Skiing so I have cancelled my subscription, I’ve been a customer for years but not paying that, you should be ashamed of this and I can only hope everyone else does the same and your greed leads to you going bust

From £6.99 up to £30.99 NO WAY !!

Speedway is my sport NOT all the other sports that I would be paying for plus the garbage other than sports speedway is a niche sport I have attended and watched for 60 years but sadly will no longer watch behind a paywall on Discovery + typical American bullying tactics .Buy Eurosport and TNT and the rights to the Tour de France No way .Paywall destroyed cricket !!!!!!

Let down by men in suits

Feel totally let down by them.
The recent price hike from £6.99 to £30.99 is insane and totally unacceptable! We used it to watch the cycling, which btw was about £4 per month with GCN before discovery took that over.
Coverage has been amazing, but I can't justify paying this much more for a service which will include loads of other sports I don't want.
You can dress it up with all the corporate BS about sport ecosystem and simplified offerings for users, but at the end of the day it's just holding the fans of lesser sports to ransom to fund football.
So long...

Started on Eurosport to watch pro…

Avoid - Started on Eurosport to watch pro cycling £39/year, then discovery+ £6.99/ month for a less useable app .. appalling interface. Just cancelled my subscription entirely as not prepared to pay the soon to be £31/month for the same content. Maximum price gauging is I suspect not a sustainable business model. I will not be the only subscriber cancelling in the face of such sharp practice.

Dismal. Cycling.

First you buy the GCN cycling app (£3.99 subs) just to bin it. Meaning I had to pay for your preferred app (£6.99 subs) which as an app was far inferior. Now you say I cannot use that and I have to pay you £30.99 for the same content. I’m not interested in your football etc. I’ve cancelled my subscription. Thanks for nothing.

Dreadful despite premium price

Dreadful. Large grey rectangle in front of my live football match saying timeline. I eventually watched by using HDMI to connect laptop to TV; the same grey rectangle appeared but had small cross to remove. Missed a goal and 20 minutes of match though. TNT is most expensive Premier League streamer and the worst. There seems to be no way to complain on their website.

"Alaskan Bush People" reused footage

I'm watching "Alaskan Bush People" and I absolutely love the Brown family and the show but it keeps frickin' banging on about "never before seen footage", while constantly running THE SAME OLD FOOTAGE! I've just started season 4 and I don't think I can finish all 14 season, at this rate. Most episodes are 90% rerun footage ffs

800% Price hike for cyclists since GCN…

800% Price hike for cyclists since GCN days. Happy to have you upgrade and continue to pay for virtually no cycling in the off season, then as soon as the classics start to come around, the massive price hike. The TNT Sports' premium package will officially become the world's most expensive cycling streaming service.
Disgraceful.

Stuff the customers .....

Been a basic customer since launch get things like Yorkshire auction house in demand and I like the cycling grand tours for ranging from 3.99 to 6.99 a month it's worth it but no way is it worth 30.99 so now cancelled they offered a deal 17.99 for 6 months which I declined.
This needs a rapid u turn it they'll lose hundreds of thousands of users it's all ready on public view in Facebook the sharks are offering dodgy fire sticks at the end of the day it'll cost them money and just force those desperate enough towards the pirates and the risks that brings
