After uncountable steps of verifications, there was no indication anything went wrong. If there is a link to a page saying "here's your code", but there is no code, I do indeed submit a dispute and don't wait around for hours or days waiting to get contacted. If I go to the supermarket to buy milk, and if I pay for the milk, I expect milk - not being sent out with an empty shopping bag after checkout.
PayPal is waiting for their response, which they are apparently not providing. Them pointing to the payment service is ridiculous and, in my eyes, a sign of bad will and dubious business practices.

took my money and blocked my account
There was an issue with the payment(2fa never went through with my bank I assume) and they said I would be refunded. 4 days later no refund, so I send support a message and now I am just getting sent to the blocked account page.
*UPDATE*
It seems that both myself and my wife opening accounts and buying the same game to play together on the same day triggered their fraud system, we both got the refunds back, but still have blocked accounts, so I cant give them a good review, and leave this review as a warning for people living in the same household.

Horrible buying experience.
Its an 8 step process to verify your order, with everything from giving them your cell phone to linking them to your PayPal account and running 3 separate verification checks - one on each individual part. And they said they'd send me a text to verify my number, which I never received.
Horrible process. I can't even see the logic behind it, aside from fishing for as much information as possible with every order. Never ordering here again, and I'm asking Paypal to stop this order as I never recieved my game in the first place.

The store took my money and didn't offer any product. Upon contacting them they told me it wasn't their fault and that I should have used a different payment provider and not HiPay. Why they offer the one they KNOW has issues is beyond me. Now I can battle with HiPay because DLGamer refuses to take responsibility for the wrongful charge on my account they are responsible for.
Avoid this store like the plague.

Trust concerns
Got a working product from the site, but the activation process raised trust concerns.
AFTER paying for the key I had to verify my address, my phone number, my Paypal email AND link my game store account to the site for activation without actually receiving any key. The game works, but I feel the procedure is tailored to fish as much information from you as possible. Avoid If you’re privacy sensitive.

You did not receive any key because you've probably bought a direct activation product. This is not a choice from us, it has been put in place by few publishers like Ubisoft for example, but the majority of our products have a key otherwise.

Bought a game in 2019 (activation code on Steam). Then suddenly got a message from Steam in 2022 saying the game had been removed from my inventory. When I contacted Steam support they said the activation key had been revoked by the publisher. Once I informed DLGamer support of the situation, they issued me a replacement key right away.
