Asking staff is a gamble. Some are nice and helpful, however yesterday I and my partner had a very strange experience when asking a member of the staff here for advice on growing hedges. The woman we asked clearly was making up her advice on the spot and didn't know anything about it, then she started ranting about a neighbour who didn't trim hedges and wouldn't actually answer any questions after that. The most bizarre moment was when she started pointing at a hedge that wasn't even there. I and my partner checked afterwards, we even went round to the other side of the wall that the staff member had been pointing at, and there was no hedge.

Great variety of pet products and helpful staff

Always a pleasant experience browsing or purchasing . Knowledgeable staff happy to advise and guide the novice gardener

Joined the Dobbies club card which has been great, with free drinks and soon birthday cake. Bought a rattan garden set at a very good price.

Wonderful shop with so much choice. Bought reduced price plants which are now flourishing. Only criticism is a reduced plant came through the till as full price, money was refunded at customer services but this was not the first time this has happened.

Short visit to pick up our garden supplies and have coffee. Got every thing I needed and more..service was efficient and polite. A bit more expensive than other places but the loyalty card makes up for it.

Friendly welcoming staff. Room to browse and see products properly. Very airy, light and spacious.

i arrived with 20 mins to closing time and one member of staff went over and above to get me my furniture and load my car.

A great atmosphere with plenty of choice of plants and gardening equipment. Staff always very pleasant and helpful and cafe does a great coffee.

Called in quickly for a plant as a gift,disappointed with the range of house plants on offer. A much reduced selection to normal. Generally I am very happy with the selection available and the helpfulness of the staff.

We visited Dobbies with our daughter and two small Grandchildren Plenty to see for all of us ,even the dog enjoyed herself.Lovely lunch outside,whilst the kiddies enjoyed the slide etc.
We bought some lovely plants ,plus a goody each for the children.We decided to join the club there and then ,so even got our %off all our buys .I'm disabled but plenty of room to manoeuvre my scooter.
We'll definitely be back as we're not too far away Especially for our Coffee and Cake !!

So many dogs, some of which were quite frightening. We witnessed one dog urinating on the bags of flower bulbs, i would not be happy picking one of those up apart from the toddlers touching it. And there was also dog mess in one of the indoor aisles. Disgusting.

Required a base for a parasol & also purchased a couple of items for garden maintenance. Dobbie's Club members so enjoyed a cup of tea in the restaurant. Noticed though, that plant & flowers are getting so expensive. Suppose its like prices on everything.

Purchased pack of seed potatoes - only 7 in pack instead of 8, poor quality. Emailed manager at Morpeth, have had no reply or acknowledgment.
