Their on shelf pricing is frequently wrong and they will charge full price for items on sale. There is no customer service dept on their website. A shitty company paying shit wages and over charging customers

A lot of their employees are deranged and abusive. And the fact that dollar general has no means of contacting them regarding their behavior is very insulting to the consumer. I won’t do business with them anymore.

Every time I go to the store I'm greated with good respect if I can't find what I'm looking for I ask anyone of the workers or management I'm directed to the right place in the town where I live I will recommend it to any one

Walked into the Rehobeth store and immediately noticed the nasty floors, unstocked shelves,and crap scattered around. Looked like some 3rd world kind of crap. As much as I dislike Walmart, they at least keep their floors clean.

WHY why would you do this? I am forced to attempt to update. Then am told my password is wrong. Then you wont send me an email like you claimed you would so I can change the password. I cant create another account because you wont let me use my phone number ITS THE ONLY NUMBER I HAVE email and phone are different you can only have one phone incase you didnt know. What am I supposed to do? I guess just not shop there anymore.

Fix the issue with no internet inside store give me five dollars off without the signing in again

I was shopping at Dollar General in Durham, NC at the Ganyard Farms. The cashier was ringing up my items and then when the cashier rang up my feminine products I was told that they didn't have large bags and that I had to take them out in my hands. I said that I wasn't going to do that. I asked them to delete these two items. They just there staring at me and looking at me as if I said something wrong. I asked did they have any garbage bags. And they gave me one. I reported this to corporate and I was told that they did not carry any large bags. I said that no woman would not like to carry her feminine items out of the store while others could see what I had. Their family members who are women would not do this. Corporate told me if I went to Walmart and Kmart and asked for a refrigerator I wouldn't get it. He apologizes to me. All that they want is our money. They don't care about their customers. I said that I would be shopping elsewhere. Would you go out of the store with feminine products in your hands after purchasing them for people to, see? That is embarrassing! Dollar General needs to get it together and they aren't friendly. They never greet you when you come into the store or in line.

I like to shop for affordable things and I can find what I want. The only problem is customer service is not professional. I go to the Dollar General at revere beach parkway in Chelsea, Massachusetts, USA. It would be nice if the cashier gives you the recipet and not the other way around. Also I want workers at Dollar General to be kind, generous, and compassionate we need more of these people in this world and we need them at Dollar General. I don’t want workers who has no heart.

The girl at the front her name is jazz she does a great job and doing good job and got good customers service skills

Went in to get granddaughter candy as we were headed to a movie. got several items located on racks with small bagged candy marked all with $1.00. the skittles, sour patch kids all rang up at $1.00 but the ners clusters on the same display rack rang up $2.50. I did not pay attention to receipt until getting home. However, this is not the first time this has happened on other pricing. the employees are very bad at placing items on racks with incorrect pricing. Rip off.

With all the bad experiences happening at DG everywhere, I want to leave a great review!! The women working at 1pm today at store #7103 in Ashtabula Ohio were super friendly, happy about being there, from the way they interacted, and worked together stocking AND check out! So nice and refreshing to have a nice visit at a DG! I hope their boss sees this review! They need to be told that they are doing a great job! I will recommend this location over the other 5 in our area!

Besides being the nastiest dollar general. While the store and parking lot is completely packed, the general manager has the audacity to park his car right directly in front taking up prime parking. After never taking one second to jump on a register to help a customer. This store doesn't deserve to be in business

In the 232 N Main St Dollar general, the employee told my sister that she had to put her bag that she had already paid for up on the counter. My sister then went to the restroom. When we were going to get some cookies. My sister went to go get her bag back. She then told her to pay for the items she had already paid for. She went to me telling me that she asked," Are you walking around the store?" My sister said, " No I have to go get my brother." After she went to go get me, I had the employee look at the receipt, then the employee proceeds to say, "You're lucky." While glaring at us. Then we left.

Decent prices, updated items and friendly staff.

I'm going to walk down the aisle to get Gatorade. At store 15541, and the worker has 3 buggies. In the aisle and she blocking it, and she said. What are you getting? I said, gatorade she says you have to go back around. I'm like, really you block the Isle, and making customers got around. When I just went ahead and squeezed through past the buggies, she said. Oh wow I guess just do that. Not very pleased with that.When I was working at walmart, I was always courteous to the customers

Today I went to dollar general on 111th and Michigan and I came in this store to buy some things from this store and I was followed all through the store and hadn't done any thing but shopping for a few things until an employee told me that she didn't have time to follow anybody and could I just leave on suspicion of theft. I felt embarrassed and I was stereotyped and that was so unfair and unprofessional of every employee working in this store. Unsatisfactory customer service.

DG is so convient for EVERYTHING you may need!

Dollar General is one of the few stores in my small town that offers a variety of home goods, groceries, cleaning items and toiletries. During 2020 it was one of the few stores where we could find toilet paper and other essential items.
Cleanliness of stores vary by locations largely due to management,staff and customer base. The DG App is helpful in planning out my shopping trip , and the digital coupons are fantastic!

Sandra Marker, a loyal and dedicated employee and customer of Dollar General, Valley City, North Dakota, was recently fired for "Creating a hostile work environment", for reporting and bringing to the attention of and correcting a coworker's actions which were against company policy and breaking rules on handling the register and the improper handling of cash deposits, and a few other things. We gather this employee is a misfit. The employee went and told lies and falsehoods to a manager with whom there was a longstanding close relationship. Ms. Sandra Marker was immediately terminated for "Creating a hostile work environment" and she cannot even seek employment at any other Dollar General anywhere in the state or country. All for reporting and trying to correct wrongdoing on the part of another employee. The entire staff at the store agree that she was lied about, framed, and railroaded, and that she was in the right and did nothing wrong. Your powers that be refused to even interview all the other employees who know of what went on. Can you please look into and investigate this situation, and see that justice is done? I strongly feel that if you interview everyone at the store, you will find that the wrong person was fired. 1) She is still too very devastated by this,

2) They would call her in on her days off a half-hour or 15 minutes before closing to go in and close out the registers and do the night deposits, because of the nonfunctional misfit,

3) Manager had to fire own son due to nepotism, did not want it to come out if there was any publicity over this,

4) She busted her ass for your company and got slapped in the face and pooped on for it.

5) Interview everyone at the store and more surprises to come.
