The worst domain company
The worst domain company! Avoid. They took money to renew a domain yet didn't bother to renew it and now it's been lost and we have to go via Nominet to try to get it back. No one cares there since they sold out to 123-reg. 123-reg aren't bothered either and wash their hands of any issues.
Cannot get in contact with support
Cannot get in contact with support. They have been taken over by 123 Reg, however, 123 Reg do not want anything to do with them. They only have email support. (support [at] domainmonster.com) but do not reply to emails. Move your services while you can.
This company is shockingly bad
This company is shockingly bad - DO NOT USE THEM.
after renewing, the server was not activated -no emails.
YOU CAN NOT GET THEM TO RESPOND - NO CALL NO AND ONLINE EMAIL GETS IGNORED.
SO BAD......

I tried recently to switch one of my domains to a new name server to allow a 3rd part set up a new website for me, on entering the new details I received a message domain suspended. Since I tried 4 times to contact the DM Customer Service through the members-only website, raised 2 email requests as suggested in the member site directly from my registered email address again no reply/response, I also spent 50 minutes on the phone before getting a reply the guy was helpful and indicated he could resolve the problem, once more nothing happened, I accept the original problem was of my making when I failed to confirm my ownership of the domain in question. However, that does not excuse the DM abysmal response.

No support
Since they were purchased by 123 reg they no longer respond to support requests. They have also removed the support contact number
email failures and poor or zero support
I have some domains they host and mail boxes, and have had nothing but trouble with email failing intermittently for YEARS and have remained loyal because they have provided telephone support. They were apparently acquired by 123Reg and when they removed their telephone support, 123Reg support would provide me with their support contact number.
123Reg support have now told me that they can no longer provide any contacts details for Domainmonster.
I therefore use the email error notification system provided by Domaimonster and the email failures usually get fixed with 2 days, very occasionally within an hour, but usually within 2 days, but the recent ones have not been dealt with as quickly. Both my mail boxes in one domain are failing to send and receive today and this has been ongoing BUT Domainmonster do not provide evening or weekend support email support, although it is very arguable that they actually provide any so I have been down for days again as it is a Monday.
I note that the internet news site "internetnews" has a story entitled "DomainMonster Is No More. All Customers Being Migrated to 123-Reg
April 10, 2017 by Michele Neylon"
...and this included a letter extract sent to a customer (I have lost my own copy of this letter), the extract is "Domainmonster.com and 123 Reg are brands both belonging to the same group. This means that the same high-quality dedicated staff will be working on your account at 123 Reg, so you will still receive the superior level of performance and service you are used to from Domainmonster.com." and if that is true then I will be switching to a different company and it definitely won't be 123Reg either.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Utterly useless domain provider. Their platform is not very intuitive, with clunky old software. And when you have a problem they simply do not respond to emails.
Steer clear - unauthorised payments taken.
Had several domains with Domain Monster for a few years and this is the first time they have taken out 3 payments over 3 days for the same thing the original payment was taken for. Had to cancel all recurring payments and now trying to arrange a refund which is proving difficult as the phone number no longer works and no-one is answering the support emails.
Contacted 123reg who are not taking any responsibility. They are not working with DM yet and not their problem. Steer clear and certainly check your payments are correct with no unauthorised payments being taken.
Awful company with no support or…
Awful company with no support or clueless people when you do eventually get hold of someone. Avoid them and their new parent 123REG
Worst company I've ever dealt with
If I could give negative stars, I would - this company has caused me to lose my website. Couldn't login to renew domain, and password reset didn't work. No response from support. Tried 123reg as my account was supposed to be transferred to them. They said it hadn't been migrated even though I'd had emails saying it had. Tried domainmonster again - no response. Without logging in, support links take you to 123reg. They don't want to know - just going round in circles. I've now received an email saying my account is blocked and I need to reset the password to access it. But the password reset doesn't work!! Excuse me while I spend a few minutes banging my head against the wall. If it was a .co.uk domain I'd have some redress from Nominet, but sadly it's a .com I'd avoid this company and its associated companies at all costs if you want to retain your sanity, not to mention your website.
Absolutely no support provided
Absolutely no support provided. No-one wants to help or provide support. Promised 4 hr support doesn't happen. Call 123reg and they just run away suggesting its not part of their company.
Seeing other people's reviews makes me…
Seeing other people's reviews makes me realise that I'm not alone in the terrible customer service I've received from domainmonster, it's like they've disappeared. I've not had working email forwarding since I paid for it three weeks ago. I did get one response about a week after my initial query but this still isn't resolved and it's now nearly two weeks since I sent my last query and no response. I will have to make an official complaint. This also makes me nervous about the domain names I hold with them.

I'm am trying to get support and can't log in. The email just points to 123.reg. I have spoken to them and they say they haven't brought across yet. I have spoken to 3 departments in 123.reg terrible on both companies

Not reputable IT group of companies
This Company that is part of 123 Reg, Mesh Digital and GO Daddy is a joke. Almost 4 weeks now without a working e-mail system. Why would anybody use any of the mentioned. Just had second support response today since 27th My telling me its working, ITS NOT. The problem was identified by a customer on 123 Reg back on 7th June. But this group of companies in my opinion cant manage IT systems.
Transfer Domain from Domain Monster
Hi has anyone been able to transfer their Domain name from Domain monster to 123Reg successfully? Domain Monster should have done it but......
Is it a simple process?
Customer service at both these companies is terrible. No one answers any queries and at 123 Reg as soon as you mention the word Domain Monster they cut you off or disappear from the chat box.
We have two emails with Domain Monster…
We have two emails with Domain Monster and unable to get anything sorted out as well. My husband has had trouble with his for the last few months and mine has now not been working for over two weeks. I need to book online shopping and because they are so busy they will not take any new accounts, so until I can get access back I am unable to order online.
I've shared the same abismal service…
I've shared the same abismal service for my 100+ domains as many other reviewers and eventuallly notified Nominet, the UK controlling authority. They were so fast and efficient and advised that anything Domainmonster can do can be done direct with them so I'm transferring all my last 35 domains to Australia's Dreamscape by changing the IPS Tags at Nominet - which is only what Domainmonster should do for the money they've had off me. Then the new registrar can take control of everything. With so many domains, I've decided to become a reseller, so now I have control of everything myself at last. Their retail side is Crazydomains just as Domainmonster go under Domainbox and 123 Reg with Godaddy at the top of their chain. Shame to see a good company go tits-up! But they've brought it upon themselves....we all know by now that bigger is NEVER better!
