In addition, business order cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 40%, depending on the status of the order at the time the cancellation request is received (for example, if the order has already been processed, ordered from a supplier, or dispatched).
These charges are applied at our discretion and may vary depending on the condition of the goods and whether the item can be resold.

I ordered 50 bottles of hand sanitiser…
I ordered 50 bottles of hand sanitiser from Dortech and was extremely disappointed to find that all bottles supplied were expired (expiry date 2023). This was not mentioned anywhere at the point of purchase.
As a care provider, we cannot use expired infection-control products, meaning the entire order was unusable and resulted in a financial loss. Supplying expired sanitiser without disclosure is unacceptable, particularly when customers may be operating in regulated settings.
I would strongly advise others to check expiry dates carefully before ordering. Unfortunately, this experience has significantly affected my confidence in the company.

The hand sanitiser in question was listed in our clearance section at a price of £0.25 per bottle, which clearly indicated it was clearance stock. Items in this section are heavily discounted to clear remaining stock and are priced accordingly.
Upon raising the issue with our customer service team, your request was handled promptly and professionally. There was no dispute or argument, and the requested refund was issued immediately in line with your request.
As a building and glazing supplier, Dortech does not market itself as a specialist medical or care-sector supplier. If products from a clearance section are intended to be used within a regulated care-provider environment, we would reasonably expect customers to contact us prior to placing an order to confirm suitability, particularly where compliance requirements apply.
We regret that this purchase did not meet your expectations, but we believe the matter was dealt with fairly, transparently, and promptly once raised.
