Nice kitchen (hopefully eventually) but the entire experience totally ruined by the Franchise owner and his son.
One as bad as the other when it comes to excuses, delays, outright lies and very difficult to pin down.
Wrong spec of doors fitted but that was due to “all the back and forth” which went on. That’s called the customer making sure they’re getting what they want. Write things down in future - we certainly do and know what we asked for.
We were made to feel it was our fault they were down to one fitter due to another walking out!! The guys were still working in our kitchen at 2am!!!! -on two consecutive nights. meanwhile the bold owner had disappeared to enjoy the Grand Prix and a couple of concerts which he took great please telling us all about - whilst we are being completely inconvenienced.
They don’t seem to give a toss about the customer once they’ve got the majority cash as a deposit.
Kitchen remains unfinished - who knows when it’ll be done!

Popped into dreams doors in yarm (teesside)just on the off chance as wanted either a new kitchen or a makeover, spoke to Phil who went through our options and decided to maybe go with new doors, work tops sink, etc, Arranged with Phil for Darren to pop out and see what we could do,Darren came and listened to what we wanted and advised us on our options, very thoroughly, we eventually decided to go the full hog ,replacing everything and even down to the flooring, we were due on holiday and arranged for the work to be done whilst away, came home to a kitchen just about right with a few snags, but Phil came round and went over our concerns and sorted everything, we are pleased with the job 😀

We had a kitchen renovation done including new worktops, sink, hob and some cupboards and drawers fixed plus all new plumbing. The experience from start to finish has been excellent. Michael and Archie who did the work were superb in their attention to detail and the quality of the work done. Very pleased with the resulting kitchen.

Before I start. I must say I never give negative reviews. You can check my other reviews. But this time I felt I must warn other customers.
We went to Dream Doors in August 2025. We ordered new worktops, a hob, an oven, a sink and taps and an extractor. We used these because they are opposite my house and I can see the showroom from my window. The work wasn't completed until December 2025. There were various hold ups. Soon after completion I noticed scratches appearing on the surface. This got worse. I immediately went over to the showroom but it was closed. The first mistake I made was not realising the Dream Doors are franchises and the one I used had gone into liquidation. I contacted head office and was put in touch with the area manager. He suggested various actions, none of which worked. He then contacted the supplier but this is still ongoing July 2026 almost. It's not the supplier it's Dream Doors. It's the fact that we weren't advised at the outset that this type of worktop is prone to scratching as it's shiny and sparkly. I went to a number of kitchen suppliers in my area and they all said the same. We would have advised you at the outset of the probability of scratching. The bill for the upgrade was almost £6000 and the cost of replacing the worktops is around £2500. This was an expensive lesson that I've learnt. So, beware of Franchises, particularly Dream Doors because if you use them and the franchise goes into liquidation you will be up the creek without a paddle. Dream Doors won't be there for you. There are loads of kitchen suppliers out there who are independent companies. Make sure you shop around and check the company out.

I contacted Dream Doors in Carshalton for a kitchen makeover after my oven stopped working and I needed a new oven and hob. The price quoted was excellent, nearly half the cost of some bigger kitchen makeover companies, plus the quote included the oven and hob. Markus, the fitter, was polite and friendly and helpful and made a couple of small adjustments which made a big difference. His work was excellent. There was a small hitch with one of the doors but the boss and Markus sorted it out so the kitchen is much better now than it was originally when new and the door quality is strong.

After speaking and meeting with a few different suppliers, and getting quotes. We had a stand out experience dealing with Josh and the team at Ipswich branch. They were extremely, helpful and well organised. Our new doors and worktops have transformed the previously drab kitchen. Everything went smoothly and I can’t recommend them enough! Thank you

**update 03.07 - No contact following request for my details**
After taking a few days to reflect following my verbal feedback and the branch visit, I’m disappointed to say that I’ve been left underwhelmed by the service element of the experience — particularly around an issue that was missed by two separate people during their visits.
The product quality is very good, and the installer was excellent. He worked on the warmest day of the year so far, kept everything tidy, and delivered a high‑quality finish. I cannot fault him.
However, the service and attention to detail were not at the same standard. At both the initial visit and the survey, it was not identified that fitting new end panels would interfere with the operation of my made‑to‑measure blind — which was not a cheap item. When I raised this, and when a team member later visited (and requested payment), it didn’t feel as though there was genuine concern or ownership of the issue. The focus seemed to be on presenting the certificate of works and taking payment rather than addressing the problem.
During installation, the installer was contacted repeatedly for updates, clearly being pushed to complete the job quickly. While he didn’t let this affect the quality of his work and I felt so bad for him, it didn’t feel professional to put that pressure on him, especially when quality should be the priority.
In summary: excellent product quality and installer, but significant room for improvement in service, communication, and customer care. By the end, it felt as though settling the final bill was the main priority rather than ensuring the overall experience was right and hence im left not with the full kitchen outcome I was hoping for to finish what has been months of doing up my property.

Dream Doors did a great job from beginning to end. So pleased with renovation. Everything dealt with by the team went very smoothly. Always advising us if anything we needed to know. Would definitely recommend Dream Doors Kings Langley.

Brilliant experience from start to finish when we visited the Shirley show room,
Easy to match samples, good advise given and not pushed into any quick decisions, the Fitter (Lee) worked so hard for four days full credit to him.
Excellent performance from start to finish. Many thanks.

It really pains me to have to write this review of Dream Doors.
I have truly done my best since 2018 to find a different resolution but now feel the need to share my experience.
My kitchen was bought in 2018, the reason we chose Dream Doors was to support a local business - and the sales process was charming. They were exactly what sales should be. However, the minute implementation (in their eyes) was done. My experience changed... 1) The house was left in an abysmal state, in good faith we went away on holiday and left Dream Doors to work without interruption. The kitchen was tidy, but the whole downstairs of the house was revolting. Even worse, we then noticed, the upstairs bathroom - despite there being a downstairs cloakroom - was used, and left disgustingly. Dirty beyond any acceptable feasibility. There was no need to even go upstairs. We then had issues like - the washing machine was not plugged in, it flooded the whole downstairs when first used - to be fair, they came out and plugged it in - even on Bank Holiday Monday!
After that the issues started - little things, the fridge door was "wrong" and the was meant to have two doors it came as one. The boiler was not replaced, and there was a paper service book - this was lost during the work. The cupboards were damaged on the inside and covered in the pencil that was used for putting them in. Just little sad things.
We then had issues with Neff - their chosen supplier for the goods. The washing machine has destroyed countless items - we cannot do any washing without everything being in a bag. Neff don't care and neither do Dream Doors.
Now the most disappointing piece - since implementation - my cupboards have all pealed back from the melamine!!!! And when I have flagged this... it's because the kitchen is not heat resistant. So now, seven years later I have spent over £2,000 on new doors. I have spoken to countless people, within the industry, friends with new kitchens - no one can believe that Dream Doors can stand behind this statement. How can a kitchen not be heat & steam resistant? So yes - my doors have a 5 year guarantee. But not sure what for!! I have invited them to bring their supplier on site to see - as sometimes, these things happen, I work in sales myself and would personally take the opportunity for my supplier to come and see the poor quality and yet there was no interest in them to follow up. In fact their sales rep - stated in my terribly aged kitchen "he was happy with the kitchen and proud of the work"!!!
For me the saddest piece is... I have been treated like a real Diva - so many of us "treat" ourselves to a new kitchen, and want to feel valued and seen. My kitchen makes me sad- I have spent over £25,000 on something that I feel truly let down and manipulated on and all on T&Cs.

We are delighted with our newly refurbished kitchen by Dream Doors in Dunstable. We’ve been treated with great courtesy and respect throughout, and the quality of the workmanship is excellent. It does look like a brand new kitchen. From the initial planning through to finalising a couple of minor issues, nothing has been too much trouble. Many thanks to Mark and all the team involved for making what I feared would be some major disruption, into a very manageable week’s work resulting in what we are now proud to call our ‘brand new kitchen’, well it is almost!

Where are the Dream Door Team from Allerton Road Liverpool. They have been closed since November 2025 and it doesn’t look if they are coming back as the For Sale sign had gone up. I bought new kitchen doors 18 months ago but the doors have fallen off the fridge. Apparently old hinges were used which could take the weight of the new doors.

Highly recommend. "We only take final payment we you completely satisfied."
You only know how good a company is when there is a problem. One of the doors arrived with a small dent. Two of the drawers didn't have the shaker pattern on them. All this was fixed without an issue. Didn't make final payment until small issues were fixed.
The level of customer service is great. Luke who owns the company is a true gentleman. He even recommended we didn't do some works as it wasn't needed. We feel very assured and confident by his non pressured approach. The fitter was also a pleasure to have in the house.
Cannot more highly recommend Dream Doors for the product, customer service and professionalism.

I'm really disappointed that Mandy and Dream Doors did not match my expectations. I received a couple of quotes and choose Dream Doors on the promise that the work would be fast tracked. Unfortunately this was not the case. Manufacture and fitting was meant to take 2 weeks, but ended up taking over 4. And then there were 3 doors that had been incorrectly measured, so the process started again. I also understood this to be a local company, and that was attractive to me. However, it is a national franchise, rather that a local, family owned company, so abit misleading. I did receive, via email, misleading info too - I enquired about whether all cupboard sides would be replaced or covered, and received an email saying they'd be replaced. This is indeed not the case, as most are covered.
Overall I was disappointed with the lack of integrity in the process. There was very minimal financial recompense for all of this too (less than 2% knocked of the price). Mandy has assured me that she has changed manufactures, so future problems should not occur again on this part. But, being honest, I regret choosing Dream Doors and could not recommend them to others 😕
