One of the fraud company in terms of credit card.
in 2017 i got a credit card & i never use this card after that. when the agent given me he lied telling this free for life card, then in 2022 i got call from a debt collector, asking me to pay 1500 AED for this card as fine & fees.
I was really surprised & shocked & visited FAB bank because the person talked to be said they are from FAB collection department (another lie)
I visited FAB manager( he was a gem of person) he said me this kind of frauds nowadays very common with this banks, like they will give you a free for card, and after many years when you forget that you holding a card they will send email that they are upgrading due to of loyal customers (another lie)
Now i end up paying annual fees since that one email automatically upgraded our great credit card.
Such a big scam company
I paid the amount via bank transfer & asked them to close the card immediately, they did, now in 2024 after two years still my credit score is affected by this incident where i got fooled by this g frauds.

Worst service ever they make mistakes and you need to bare with it if this the attitude of a complaint manager no doubt we will always continue to have issue with you don’t recommend their service at all

Jai Gopal was very helpful, came to my home to get forms and paperwork signed. Everything has been as he promised with no issues.

marketing fake propositions by the bank employees

I applied for their cashback card through an agent named Usman chaudhary who approached me. While the card is good, he had promised me a waiver of annual fee for the first year and in subsequent years upon minimum spent of Aed 24000/-. Also a welcome bonus of
Aed 1000 upon minimum spent of aed
5000/- within 60 days of card issuance . I was charged the annual fee in the first statement. Turns out these guys are Selling cards based on lies. No ethics at all. Pathetic and would never recommend.

Their complaints team called me and I couldnt answer the call and they closed the complaints saying no waiver.

Would never recommend this bank due to their lack of ethics and poor service.

Salesman Safi will give the fake promises like the card is free for life. The salesman will apply the coupon to wave off the annual charges and the card will be free for first year. But it’s a fraud known only after we see the annual fee in the statement. Later on the salesman stop responding.

The bank will not help in this fraud. Somewhere I feel bank is favouring the salesman as the matter of achieving sales. Bank is not ready to check the proof that we provide.

Very convincing & and you will fall for it.

On receiving first statement he said system upgrade is happening, technical team said it will be fixed in next statement. When second statement came, still nothing & now doesnt respond to phone or email

I strongly suggest to not to take dubai first credit card.. Very bad services. And customer care staff also very rude. Please don't waste your money.. They don't have branch and no any policies also.

I regret to share my extremely negative experience with Dubai First Credit Card. I strongly advise against trusting any sales representatives from FAB who approach you for their services.

My ordeal began when a salesperson, her name is Mrs. Iman Shawky visited me in Ajman in my clinic, assured me that the card was free of charge. However, after a few months, despite never activating the card, I shockingly found myself over AED 1,000 in debt. Efforts to seek clarification and support from the bank proved fruitless, leaving me feeling utterly misled and deceived.

Their sales representative fooled me with wrong details and i was charged credit card maintenance fee of 400 AED immediately after card activation. The cash back is just fake and they don’t pay you for any other supermarket purchase except grocery

Scammer, No clear policy, No proper contact information from contact center, better not to stuck with this scam bank. Why it's mandatory to give star rating to move to this screen. It's also weird and unnecessary.

Dubai first cc is “Blood sucker” company do not get trap on this card they show case as they are very standard they automatically closed my quick cash when I paid for other purchase of that card. It is ghost business company.

FIRST YEAR FREE.....AGENT SCAM (Widespread in UAE)

The FAB/DF agents scam people by saying there will be no annual fee, and very smartly make customer sign T&C agreement through a mobile app. As soon you start using the card, they charge you 420 AED (including VAT) in the first month itself.

***** How DubaiFirst responds ? *****

The customer care team will immediately close your complaint, and just use lawyer language & jargons saying that you signed T&C, and should have read that. Blah blah blah, its like they have a readymade script with them to closing such issues in 2 minutes.

***** Impact of this (Losing trust in UAE Banking System) *****

This becomes a widespread scam which is being orchestrated under the umbrella of FAB (as card is issued by them), I don't know how many people might have lost their money, but it needs to be highlighted to Central Bank & DIFC of this dirty malpractice done by Dubai First. Shame on FAB not looking into this !!!!

I have created a WhatsApp group (search REDDIT with r/dubaifirstscam) to include members who have been affected by this widespread scam. Please report this issue here & lets try taking it to DIFC, CB or Police.

I got scammed by your Dubai first team . While applying on November the agent gave the offer that, first year no annual fee, and have welcome bonus also . I utilised approx more than aed 10000 on card .But after a month of activation they put annual fee . I call the agent he is not reachable. I called the bank with proof of sales person who cheated me they agreed that the fraud staff works there but did not help.They don't care about customers ..

This is fraud team ..please don't fall in this trap

This bank doesn’t deserve even 1 star!!!
Fake marketing announcing free annual fee but they charge it as soon as the card is sent!
I even didn’t activate the card and claimed many times to cancel it but no one replied positively to my request. Now I need to pay this fees but still I am not trusting this bank to use their card! All the team is on this, sales, management… I was dealing with YASMEEN VIJ and her pseudo manager DEV BISHNOI.
Really disappointed that no one can do anything about this and let these people stealing customers!!!!

They sold me a free for life card and now have changed the terms. What's the point of lying to acquire a customer. A good product manager would profile his/her customers. Check if they are high end and selectively make offers. Waive off annual fees for the good ones... The Dubai first card is a one shoe fit all product. Usage 300k or 2k... It's the same treatment and same benefits.

They are a team to simply loot your money..
They told me that its a free for life card and so many promises. When i got the card i realized that there is annual fee of 315 . I did not activate the card and tried to cancel it many times which didnt work. Later they charged me so many fees for a non activated card. There is no monthly statement policy and you wouldnt know how they charge fine and financial charges unless you download their app.

They offer me first year no anual fee and offer welcome bonus also. But they charge annual fee and no welcome bonus. Dont trust their words. And no option to speak with costumer service agent.

Full of Lies, person selling the card made all false promises, they only wanted to sell the card to me, I didn't get anything that was promised, and the Bank did nothing about it.

This company doesn’t even deserve 1 star.
I have requested for my dubai first card cancellation last May 24 and I clearly asked the agent if I have existing value in the card unpaid since I paid the total outsanding. The agent told me that I don’t have overdue and the remaining value can be covered by cashback, the agent applied for card cancellation. After that I received notice that my card now i blocked due to cancellation request. I didn’t receive any feedback or call after that. Then After 2 mos. I received email from FAB that I have an outstanding. So I immediately called their call center hotline. And again the agent told me that I don’t have outstanding but my card is active so he again filed for cancellation.
After several days I received a decline request and now the agent told me reason of decline is due to outstanding overdue. Principal amount + late payment.

This credit card company is a fraud.
