I see the website has now disappeared

I see the website has now disappeared, but I attempted to purchase a pair of Hey Dude boots here. I started the order on my iPhone, but it wouldn't let me complete the transaction(!), so I did it quickly on my work PC. I was directed to svccon.com Hong Kong to complete the payment and have been charged £75 (+ a £2.07 non-sterling fee!!) instead of the £53 it said it would be. No order confirmation, no boots. I sent them two (unanswered) messages via their contact form before the website vanished.

First scam I've ever fallen for, but it was a very convincing website. If I hadn't been in such a rush (my lunch hour had nearly finished), I probably wouldn't have approved the transaction in my banking app because I would have noticed the price increase. I've logged this as fraud with my bank and hope that I can get my money back.

This is an impressive scam

This is an impressive scam!
The website looks authentic, tracking the shipping order showed it progressing towards delivery and yet, no goods arrived.
Enquiry emails were answered promptly but to no avail.
Contacted Paypal, as thats their method of receiving payment but they were beyond useless
Will now raise a VISA dispute to try and get my money back but would rather prevent the sellers from receiving any more money - great job Paypal!!!

SCAM. DO NOT TOUCH

I have had same experience. Ordered two pair of shoes in July. Usual tracking excuse that it is stuck in customs. When I finally asked for a refund they tried to persuade me to wait. When I insisted on a refund they have gone silent.
Definitely a fake site. How can these sites be shut down to prevent scams from happening?

Scam website

Scam website. We began a process of ordering a couple of pairs of shoes each. Free postage and discount - great! Then accidentally put another pair in the basket and found 5 pairs to be no more expensive than 4 pairs - £96 due to increasing lucky discounts. How far can we go with this? 10 pairs - £94 with an ever increasing "lucky discount". Decided to check out but couldn't find how to pay on iPad (fortunately) so decided to have a go on the main PC. Google search for Dudefootwearuk - tried to open page - Bitdefender blocked us with the alert that the website was unsafe and after two further goes with the same result came to the realisation that we'd had a lucky escape. No matter how many pairs you put into the basket, the checkout price was always under £96.
Dude Footwear in the UK have been taken over by Crocs. Their range isn't as extensive as the US (official website) or the UK scam website but at least the footwear arrives and it's legitimate. Hope this helps other buyers not to waste their money on a scam.
Note to Trustpilot - you need to reduce the star rating for this website. It might be very attractive but it isn't official or honest

BE WARNED -Fake Web Site don't get…

BE WARNED -Fake Web Site don't get ripped off, I've had exactly the same experience as Maxine Chesworth, ordered 3 pairs, first odd thing was payment in US dollars to MICHAEL EATON then eventually a week later found an email in my spam with some tracking information from China post, when the goods allegedly arrive in the UK there is no information as to which courier is being used and then after 2days of being out for delivery they are allegedly delivered only they weren't, tried contacting them no response, now trying to get my money back via PayPal

Scam site

Same experience but I do have an order confirmation, a PayPal receipt and a tracking number. When I did not receive the tracking information I emailed and requested an update, within hours I had the tracking number for China Post. I placed the order on the 3rd July with an 8-15 delivery timeline. The China Post website says it was delivered on Sunday 16th, which is wasn't. I have emailed for the last three days and not received any replies.

Total scam website

Total scam website - This is the first time in my life I've ever fallen for a scam website. Website looks legit on first view and lots of pairs of shoes and info' on there.

I ordered two pairs of shoes from them, in a supposed sale and with "Lucky Discount", on 3rd March 2023 for a total of £75.

Two weeks later I hadn't received the order still, and also realised I hadn't had any email confirmation of the order, so I messaged them through their website online form. I was able to log into the website and could see my order history on there.

About 10 days later, still no response from them, so I had to use the online webform again, as there is no telephone number or email address provided anywhere on their website either.

29th of May and still no response (26 days after placing order). Having subsequently googled them I found only one review of them online and it was pretty much telling the same experience as me.
