A really friendly team who are always communicative and proactive, and provide such a great service, despite the repeated cancellations at my end due to buyers dropping out. The surveyor provided extensive detail about the property surveyed and offered guidance and costing for needed repairs. I would definitely recommended and use Dunford Penrose again.

Responsive, efficient, thorough, straightforward

Our experience with Dunford Penrose Surveyors was really good. The follow up after getting a quote was quick, and provided all the information we needed to know to go ahead with the surveyor. The survey was extremely detailed and thorough (Level 3), and the surveyor called to go through all aspects of the survey after it had been completed. It also came with an extra property report which was helpful. Our survey had to be re-arranged but was rescheduled soon after, and communicated with us throughout.

The only slight negative was that it took a little while to confirm our payment had been received, but it was coming up to the christmas break so may be expected.

I had a Level 3 surveyors report, the report was clearly detailed and the interactive report was also a lovely feature. The surveyor also called me on the day that the survey took place and walked you through their findings and gave their frank and honest opinion of the property and the risks involved regarding the purchase. I was on the verge of purchasing this property but I had personal concerns of a few items that I need expert advice on, I'm glad I had a level 3 report carried out as it highlighted that my concerns were correct and in fact that the property was not worth the value I was offering - major works required. It was a difficult decision but I decided to withdraw my offer as the vendors weren't given me any indication that they wanted to compromise or renegotiate on the property, end of the day I didn't want to be stuck with a property that had issues that should've been addressed by the current owners - never judge a book by its cover.

I will definitely look to use Dunford Penrose Surveyors again, hopefully in the very near future.

Clear and thorough communication from Rosie throughout the process, answering my questions i a timely fashion. Theo (the Surveyor) gave me a call after he had completed the survey and spoke at length about his findings (over 30 mins) which was a great value-added service. I would recommend DPS without delay. Thorough survey, with images of all issues and estimated pricing. Was able to book at 2 days notice and was competitively priced.

A phone call immediately after the survey to indicate the main problem areas sets them apart from others, and allowed us to start organising specialists days before we got the full report.

Dunford and Penrose have been excellent surveyors for my property purchase and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get their own survey done. The prices were very competitive and the booking process was easy, with Katie being so helpful throughout. The survey was booked within a week (and this was just before Christmas too!) and Paul called me the day he had been to the property to give me an overview of his finding before releasing the report the following week. I have and will be recommending them to anyone I know who is moving!
