Despite the project being live and ongoing I find the construction crews unobtrusive,despite the fact that heavy plant is constantly on the move.

Fantastic customer service!
The service before and after, notably from Kim in the Bingham sales team and Tom & Dane in the site team has been second to none, which has really made the whole process much simpler. Two very satisfied customers!
The house is beautiful and already somewhere we love to call home.

Great service from the stables cotgrave
Great service, on a very short sale 6weeks total. I had issues with contact from my solicitor and contacted my David Wilson sales agent Jono, and I had a phone call in 5 minutes. Friendly and helpful at all times!

Very poor estate management
My experience relates to the quality of estate management rather than my home.
Living on a lovely new build estate in a semi rural setting in Southport was such a lovely opportunity and one that I was extremely happy to take. My property itself is adequate, a few snags that were not picked up despite raising them , but I’ve managed to deal with most things myself.
The estate management is another matter. Litter bins regularly over flow due to inconsistent emptying , with maybe two bins to service the whole estate.
Flood drains full of litter, including an old bike and traffic cones, reported multiple times , assured it would be dealt with but never has been, after 18 months I feel they will be a permanent fixture!
The electric sub station has been left full of litter and broken metal fencing, old barrier pieces and cones litter the estate.
The grounds maintenance leaves a lot to be desired. Grass is cut on an adhoc basis , no weeding if the borders or any attempt to manage any area other than perhaps the main park, litter picking is supposed to happen on the whole site, it definitely doesn’t!
I was told in February by the manager on site that all these things would be dealt with. Additionally, the representative for the Northwest ( Emily) reiterated that this would be dealt with as the estate was being handed over to Sefton council soon.
Such a shame that the people of the estate have been let down like this, despite extortionate management fees, I know many have expressed their concerns over the same issues. I wish it was a more positive review to leave but here we are. Perhaps it’s time to give the estate the care it needs and that is paid for by the people living on it!

Great experience at Mallard Meadows
We recently purchased our new home at Mallard Meadows with David Wilson Homes, and we honestly couldn’t be happier with the experience from start to finish.
From our very first visit to the development right through to completion day, the whole process was smooth, professional, and far less stressful than we expected when buying a new home. Every stage was handled clearly and efficiently, and we always felt informed and supported throughout.
A special mention has to go to Robert and Bernard, who both provided outstanding customer service from day one. They were always approachable, knowledgeable, and happy to answer any questions we had along the way. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and their friendly and professional attitude really made a difference to our overall experience.
The quality of our new home has been fantastic, and we are absolutely loving living here already. We’re really pleased we made the decision to buy with David Wilson Homes and would happily recommend Mallard Meadows to anyone considering a new build home.
Thank you again to the whole team for making what can often be a stressful process such a positive experience.

Yr 2 Customer Care Visit
I just had a Customer Care Manager come to see me. I am two years in at the The Woodlands in Phase 2. Alan came in very respectful, professional and really took time to ensure I understood everything. He carefully reviewed the submissions I had made and explained his assessment. I thought it was so important to highlight how great his approach was and how reassuring this experience was for me as a customer. Alan shared with me next steps and left. Not even 15mins after my door knocked and I had a lovely Customer Care operative Neil attend to fix one of the issues identified! Alan, Dale our Site Manager and so many others are a real credit to David Wilson.
