Very mixed results from this company. Bought a camera and it didn't turn up, seller was completely clueless didn't keep in touch and sent it to the wrong address. I asked for it to be re-sent and I got a refund. Awful experience worst so far. I left accurate but negative feedback to highlight the poor seller performance (I don't like doing this but he was rude arrogant and not at all accepting of how much he messed up and offered no way to solve it) Ebay removed it so a bad seller can keep on being just plain awful. I really don't like using the place, it's not a good experience recently and customer support is very often clueless.
Buyers are not protected or informed about poor sellers.

All of a sudden eBay hold your funds. Waiting to be paid over 2 weeks for items that have been delivered to buyer. I don’t have certain documents for verification but have been an account holder since 2020 and have bought and sold items. In this time they have still taken my money when I’ve bought something. Customer service is useless and clueless as far as I can see and they refuse to pay me. I’ll be going to the small claims court Ireland about this if not resolve soon . When it’s sorted I’ll be no longer doing any business on eBay.

Awful site full of scammers and Ebay does nothing about it, customer care is terrible and staff mostly immigrants and dont even speak proper English

I am an honest woman so here goes , I am a huge charmed fan ,I tried to buy a charmed figure but couldn't I tried again and again until I eventually gave up and decided not to buy .when I shop online it shouldn't be made so hard for me to shop to the point where I give up

Never received my order although confirmation of delivery was received.

Bought a faulty item, seller ignored me and eBay did not help

I am a person who has a disability I was trying to sell a mobility device in order to afford a new one eBay restricted by account so I can no longer sell on eBay. They are taking advantage of vulnerable people. This is discriminatory behaviour which has the potential to rob people of their quality of life if they can’t sell used equipment in order to afford new equipment. There only response is I can still buy on eBay I will never be doing that. Avoid at all costs. In 2024 there should not be this type of discrimination. This is totally unacceptable and they were unable to give a reason. I am very disappointed in eBay because of the way I was treated. I am willing to contact you to discuss this. Disabled people avoid eBay to sell disability equipment. Please improve your services

The “support” Chat was a mess it is beyond patchy in terms of what type of support is available. Some of the options you can only call others you can chat or call. When you try to call no one answers and they say they are closed. This is regardless of the time ofdaythat you call.

I was told to provide receipts for the items. I said I have receipts but I’m not at home. There was no obvious place to send the photos or scans of the receipts. Even though I made it clear that I have receipts the decision was made that the restriction stays in place and there is no chance of Appeal.

Not one place either the Email or the message in my eBay did it say anything about what you would need or might need to get the account resolved. Avoid at all costs eBa should be ashamed of themselves

I recently had a terrible experience selling on eBay. I sold a coin (Order ID: 14-11296-80462). Shortly after, my account was suspended, and the funds from the sale were withheld.

If I do not receive a satisfactory explanation for the account suspension and the withheld funds are not released within two weeks of this email, I will be forced to pursue legal action to recover them.

I sold my item, I put the tracking details, it was delivered, the buyer left a positive feedback, and they kept my money.
I called a dozen times and they always find a thousand excuses.
This company is a scam

I bought an item from the website. They took my money, pretended I never made an order (even though they sent email confirmation) and suspended my account when I asked them for help. They then said they would be keeping my money "to keep buyers and sellers safe".

I recently had my first experience as a seller on eBay, and it's safe to say it was an incredibly disappointing one. After carefully crafting my listing and ensuring it met all of eBay's guidelines, I eagerly awaited the sale of my item. However, my excitement quickly turned to frustration when I received a notice that my account had been suspended after my first listing.

I followed eBay's instructions to the letter when communicating with their support team, hoping to resolve the issue swiftly and get back to selling. To my dismay, not only was the process slow and cumbersome, but the outcome was far from satisfactory. Despite adhering to their guidelines and cooperating fully, my account remained suspended, leaving me with a wasted item and a sense of disillusionment with eBay's service.

As a platform that prides itself on connecting buyers and sellers, eBay's suspension policy feels unjust and arbitrary. It's disheartening to see a lack of consideration for first-time sellers who are genuinely trying to participate in the marketplace. My experience has left me questioning whether eBay truly values its sellers and their contributions to the platform.

DO NOT under any circumstances deal with this company. I set up a legitimate retail business account. I provided all my personal details, personal ID, business bank account details which were verified and confirmed by a "welcome let's get started email".
Before I listed an item , searched a product or purchased an item ebay PERMANENTLY BANNED ME after 48 hours. An appeal was a waste of time as was trying to get hold of anyone to help
A completely useless outfit that seems to be run by cowboys these days.
STAY AWAY FROM EBAY !

I purchased goods on ebay , negiotated the price - the photos of the item was not clear - I received the item , it’s not in good condition - the seller refuses to take the item back . It is impossible to speak cumunicate properly with eBay in any way - the automated voice that you are directed to is completely useless . Don’t buy any items on eBay - if things go wrong - they go very wrong . The time spent trying to retrieve a situation is mind blowing - buy the items you need and maybe need to be seen first from a local distributor - believe me it’s worth every euro ! Taking a consumer action against Ebay is going to be more time but I will persue !

I called 2 times today.25.11.23. Indian staff asking questions but after you get no answers.eBay technical support dropped the line

Holding back payments is annoying but constantly doing it has turned me off ebay for good. Don't even try to cancel an order as they send you all over the place on purpose so you give up. Best to stay as a buyer but stay well clear as a seller or they'll drive you insane with their many charges and fees. They got rid of paypal which was very handy and replaced it with their stupid micro credit nonsense. Takes ages to get paid now on ebay and it's no longer worth it. Plenty of other places that use paypal as thats where ill go. Ebay no thanks.

Terrible customer service.
Support for my first refund, was so bad they thought I was in the UK so I would be able to transact the refund from Canada directly through Royal Mail. Also you cant arrange refund postage on their platform - by the time they advised me to ask the buyer to source postage they ended up refunding the buyer before postage return could be arranged so I lost the goods and had to payout as well. I'll be taking ebay to court on the matter.

Shipping is slow from Ebay.ie to Ireland and I'm not convinced paying extra to speed delivery makes a difference.

DO NOT GET DECEIVED BY POSITIVE FEEDBACKS when purchasing stuff on eBay.

if you pay eBay, they will remove all negative feedbacks from your account.

negative feedback removed!

- bought seeds from a seller, that was promising express shipping
- month later still nothing
- seeds not even shipped
- contacted seller 11x, YES 11 times in 14 days! and not a single reply
- decided to leave a negative feedback so, for both of my purchases
- the following day - both feedbacks removed by eBay
- eBay did NOT even notify me about removing the feedbacks
- user did not reply
- now I don't have what I paid for, eBay support is non existent, no option to leave a feedback
- I noticed the seller had several negative feedback reg. the same issue - being ignorant and not posting items - all negative feedbacks removed by eBay, which means, seller does NOT have time to reply, or post items, but has time to contact eBay about removing negative feedbacks from his account
- I checked his account 10times, 99% of negative feedbacks were deleted by eBay
- seller at one point offers priority shipping, but at the other side he wrote "shipped within 90days of a cleared payment" which, is ridiculous, esp. when you buy seeds that you plan to plant in the spring, not on Christmas.

= STAY AWAY FROM EBAY!

I have used/had to use this program over the years, and I can only say I experienced the worst service I can imagine. Abnormal highly priced. Extremely long delivery times and the amount of packages that were lost by their cheap transport companies, I can no longer count on one hand.

I have ordered items from Amazon Canada and received in five days.
