Very easy, cheap and efficient.

Everything went very well. I read the T&Cs carefully on booking and did not encounter any problems.

Booked a car through Ecarz.co.uk. Very clear that it was a full to full petrol policy, the size of the car and the documents I needed to take to the hire company. The only slight hiccup was that Interrent isn't clearly signed as being a part of Europacars at Manchester Airport so there was a little confusion. Very quick drop off procedure. Also cheaper than most. Would certainly use this site again.

When I booked car I booked for car & excess protection insurance but some reason they didn't take insurance money. So I had to pay for insurance over the counter 3 times more than I quoted online.

The car was in good condition, the record of marks on the car was correct, staff was friendly and helpful. The car rental location was convenient - and will improve when refurbishment us complete!

Good normally, but tried to use them for Mallorca recently and wasn't able to put any filters in place to come up with full to full fuel policies so their site was laborious to use. However this seems more of a Spanish thing and when booking for Nice, USA, Geneva and other places they always come up trumps. One other thing would be if you could also filter out car hire places actually right at the airport, once had to walk a mile to some hotel lobby for a car hire once which was really hard work with missus, two small kids and a ton of luggage in tow. So the moral is check the fuel policy and where the actual hire firm is.

It doesn't matter who you choose at the end of the day. You get bombarded by them all to take out their insurance to cover yourself against any eventuality - even a breakdown due to a faulty car! Sol Mar even tell you that unless you take their insurance you will have to wait 30 minutes on return!

Good car hire form Malaga airport with Record as the vendor. Alternative insurance offered by Record after paying extra with Ecarz. This causes confusion & distress upon collecting car & it would be nice if this could be avoided. Our experience suggests this is common practice. Take photos of car when dropping off & keep receipt when re-fuelling on return, as there was no one on site checking this with you on drop off. All standard stuff really.

It was good price, and reasonable car. But what I didn't like that there was a service charge which was not mentioned while booking. And was as a surprise while taking a car. Don't like it.

I have hired a car from several firms before but found this one very straight forward to hire and everything was clear and no nasty surprise costs either. Also i received a very pleasant and professional service. i would defiantly go back.
