The price was excellent, paper work simple to understand hire firm had all info, the car was new Lancia with only 7700 KM on the clock ECARZ put me in touch with insurance company which cost less than £40.00 for 1 year cover for any hire car no problem with any thing, total cost including full tank of fuel less than £200.00

airport desk always takes deposit on your card,not explained very well,plus car returned on 21/11 and my card account goes 15th to 15th of month, so money not returned on present statement and i have to pay full bill,so money is not in my hands but in cyber electronic space

Good car - good price -- BUT local agent tries hard to upsell not needed overpriced insurance, car size and satnav -- use Navmill and a smartphone - upload before you leave UK for free.

We hired a Ford Mustang convertible for two weeks in Florida. It was brand new and we loved it. The pick up and return was so easy and all instructions were very clear. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again. We bought liability insurance at home before we left and didn't add any extras at the time of pick up. Returning the car with a full tank, not empty, is much easier and petrol is so cheap there. Just fill up on your way to the airport.

Although it took an hour to collect the car (loads of customers were doing the same things as us), the car was in clean conditions, with a relative low mileage with a full tank. Thank you.

a good price good car good site and no messing around

I can highly recommend Europecar. They soon rectified the problem we had. As we were given the wrong car but next morning they were at our property to change it over.

I booked my car through Jet2.com and was delighted to have a car that was approximately 6 months old and was in almost perfect condition.

Hopefully in future when renting further cars through either Jet2.com or Ecarz.co.uk i and many others will enjoy the same experience.

Price for renting the car was also quite reasonable and there were no hidden charges.

The booking was done with no hassle and the pick up and drop off service was done with good customer service.

The vehicle was clean, almost new and cheap as chips. I don't think I would bother buying UK insurance again as the cover offered upon collection was better. Just make sure to fill the fuel tank on return and enjoy your experience of Spain.

I found the Ecarz.site easy to use and they offered very competitive prices,with a list of suppliers and prices before you proceed to the booking page,so allowing you to select a preferred supplier.

They waited for me at reception even though it was midnight (we had a delay in the flight). Thanks for that.

As for the booking of the car- that was quite easy and smooth.

Arrangements to pick up the car at the airport were straightforward, but I did have to ask another car rental company where I should go to pick up the car, as Hertz did not have a hire desk at the airport. However, the lady that dealt with the rental made the process very straightforward. She even allowed me to drop off the car at a different location.

All good except for the long queue at Toulouse airport. Many competitors' had two or more staff on their desks with no customers while Europcar had one member of staff and five customers waiting to be served. The car was great except that I have not previously driven a Ford Kugar and it had a start /stop button rather than a key start. Needed to Google to discover that the clutch must be depressed before it will start as there was no staff to ask. Returning the car was excellent - I had added two small scratches but when I pointed them out the member of staff made a note but said that they were too small to worry about.
