Customer service is non exsistent

Ordered 2 pairs of glasses 2 weeks ago and have still not heard anything about my order. I have contacted customer service numerous times and still haven't heard back. Appauling customer service!

2 pairs of sunglasses lost in transit

I ordered 2 pairs of sunglasses from them in February. The galsses have shipped and have been in the same place (Frankfurt) for the last month.

No answer from the customer service department, and email after email goes unaswered.

Horrible customer service.

Disgusting customer services

I bought sunglasses, I received completly different model (with receipt for someone in Germany) and for a week I cant get any reply from Edel Optics. No reply for english email, no reply for german email, no reply on call line.

Avoid this company at all cost!

I've been waiting for a response from…

I've been waiting for a response from support regarding my email for over 2 weeks now. The coupon could not be applied when I wanted placed my order, but of course it has expired now due to the long wait.

If the coupon could not be applied at the time of ordering, it was possibly because you had an already discounted price via google shopping. It might also have been because discount codes often do not apply to lenses or items from our Boutique store.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. I purchased a pair of sun glasses in May last year and suddenly 9 months later I received an invoice from UPS! It was never part of the deal with edel-optics that I would have to pay tax/duty on top of the price paid for the glasses. I ordered the glasses on their Norwegian web-site for delivery in Norway. I contacted customer service February 2nd, and 21 days later the matter has still not been resolved. Edel-optics is still just waiting for UPS to respond. I have called Edel-optics several times and was promised that they would call me back. However, that did not happen. I do not recommend others to buy anything from Edel-optics.

Respons to Edel Optics from me on their April 14th answer: How will you go about to cover the cost? I paid the invoice myself weeks ago since you did not respond before now, April 14th. So again, I recommend no one to order goods from you.

Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever. They shipped the package from Germany to the US with incomplete customs documents, shipment was returned to sender. They immediately issued a refund without contacting me or explaining what happened. No response to my emails either. I had to wait for a backordered pair for over a month, and the result is still 0. I do not need a refund, I need my frames! Very unprofessional. Steer clear of this outfit.

I received a pair a sunglasses I…

I received a pair a sunglasses I ordered for a Christmas gift. They were the pair and looked great . However, when he opened and tried on they were completely crooked the arm on one side was visibly bent as if they had been stretched out leaving them to fit someone else poorly. I have tried calling several times and emailing several times as well. Could not get in touch by phone and have yet to hear by email. I would just like a replacement . Pretty disappointing as they are expensive glasses . I thought I could trust decent reviews of company now seeing the customer service is not so great.

Buyer beware

Buyer beware. Worst customer service experience of any online retailer. Incredibly slow shipping. Customer service takes days-weeks and multiple followup emails to respond. Waited for responses for weeks at a time. When I finally received a response, they were unable to fix the problem and instead blamed me. The link they sent me to order new lenses did not work. I informed them of this problem multiple times but they did not fix it. I eventually shipped the glasses back to Germany at my own expense, and they refused to accept it. Ended up throwing away a worthless $300 pair of glasses.

We are very sorry you had this experience. You contacted us in our peak season in the summer, which meant the response times were longer than usual. You ordered glasses with prescription lenses, which are excluded from returns.
You had the option of getting new lenses for your frame. We emailed you twice with a link where you could get new lenses for your glasses frame, as you requested. You didn't order new lenses, and so we didn't send you a return label. If you chose to ship back your item, which was excluded from our returns policy, it of course could not be accepted by us. Thank you for your understanding.

Terrible! I Am Paying For Their Mistake!

AVOID THIS SCAM WEBSITE!

I ordered a pair of prescription eyeglasses. The photos on the website do not cover a major design feature of the lenses: the inside of the frames is bright blue. It is extremely noticeable in person and I hate it. When I wrote to them, their rude customer service refused to refund me as they are prescription glasses because:

-It's my fault since I didn't order the glasses first and then the lenses second. (This would not be necessary if your pictures were correct!)
-The lenses I ordered have blue light filter so the issue is probably due to that. (This is so factually wrong it's almost funny).

They continue to refuse to refund my money due to a blatant mistake with their own website photos! How is this legal? I am contacting my bank to refute the charges. Such disgusting business ethics. This should be illegal.

I am happy with the glasses I received, but....

I am happy with the glasses I received, however, I had a great deal of trouble ordering. The site kept saying 'error' so until i received an email confirmation I didn't know the order had been placed and by then I had ordered from another company.
I now have 2 pairs of the same glasses.

I ordered my glasses from here with…

I ordered my glasses from here with express shipping and i still never received them. I have no way of contacting them since the number on their website doesn’t even work. I even tried to email them but i never got a response. I was supposed to receive them a week ago but they never arrived. They never sent me a email about my order being shipped out. There is no way i can contact them so i am trying to write a review here hoping for a response.
