Easy to order
Easy to order. Delivered when they said it would be and quality and flavour was very good. Appreciate their care for the animals in all respects
Don't buy chicken pieces
The whole chickens were as ever delicious. The chicken thighs and drumsticks were very disappointing. This has not been the case before.
disappointed in customer service
disappointed in customer service. Ordered 2 x 4 multi packs of meat pies. Unfortunately, the mixed pies did not have any labels on showing whether steak/game/squash or chicken. Based on top of pies concluded which 2 of them where but unfortunately 2 plain pie tops did not show which were steak and which Game. I asked customer service, who apologised for this but seemingly not willing to check with bakery which they could be. So family birthday meal will be a guess the filling! Cannot comment on quality of pies as not yet used. Just very disappointed in the lack of customer service help.

Other companies out there
I hadn’t ordered for a couple of years and after being a little heavily hit by emails due to the name change of the company, decided to put in an order for a mixture of meat. Although I can’t deny the ethics, rearing and taste of the products, I have to say there are other companies out there doing just the same and what sets them apart is; 1. No delivery charges over a certain amount (£40 in some cases) and offering quicker more flexible delivery options. 2. The meat does not arrive frozen, but fresh, giving you control over whether you are wanting to use on the day of delivery, plus in my experience, frozen items are discounted against fresh with some companies and EDENMOOR just don’t compete on this on a like for like basis. The price and portion sizes with delivery on top is just not value for money. I would urge people to shop around a little more. I have found a company closer to where I live with the same ethics and rearing credentials who provide fresh, good quality and decently priced for the weight meat, quickly delivered with no delivery charges over £40. I will not be ordering from here again.

Very happy customer.
My delivery was great. The choices available are great. And, as expected, the food was beyond great and far better than you'll
get at any supermarket.
All in all, money well spent...
Not going back to supermarket meat ever again
I made the decision to purchase meat from small UK farms that treat their animals well and slaughtered in a humane manner. Edenmoor/Pipers Farm fit that brief and I must say, the products I have tried so far have been outstanding. The bavette steak was delicious, it's not a cut I was familiar with, but it was juicy and delicious. Ordering is easy, delivery excellent too.

The product is of great quality and value but I’m keeping an eye on the sizes that’s offered

I bought the venison and the free‑range chicken burgers from Pipers Farm and was really pleased with both. The venison was lean, clean-tasting, and perfect for healthy meals, and the chicken burgers were light, flavourful, and felt genuinely wholesome. Everything cooked evenly and tasted like proper, responsibly raised meat. A great choice if you’re trying to eat well without compromising on quality
Pricing transparency not declaring weight as per UK consumer law
The issue is choice of Edenmoor to not label transparent pricing information and thus affecting possible choices to be made by customers.
Products sold by “portion size” did not display net weight at the point of online sale. An '8 size' (1.9 kilos) cost twice the price of a 4 size (1.5 kilos) portion. Had I been able to see the sizes I would have bought 3 4 portion sizes and received an additional kilo for the same price.
Under UK consumer protection regulations, key information such as quantity needs to be clear and available before purchase. Portion descriptions alone are subjective and do not provide the same transparency as weight.
I raised this with the company and was surprised and sad to not be well met. They have since confirmed they are satisfied with their current approach and do not intend to change it. Citizens Advice have advised that the matter will be referred to Trading Standards.

Arrived on time and was very well packaged. Only tried the steak so far but it was the best I’ve ever eaten.
Excellent poultry
The food, especially poultry has always been good. The beef is less special.
It would be great if you could reduce the packaging.

Excellent company
I have been ordering from Edenmoor (formally Pipers Farm) for a few years now and have never been disappointed. Their meats are packed in small or large portions, are always excellent quality and knowing that it is all organic and grass fed means I am purchasing the best money can buy. I love their fish portions too which are incredibly fresh and full of flavour. Edenmoor package their produce exceptionally well and all of it arrives in a freezer ready condition.
Absolutely beautiful 1.5kg of grass fed…
Absolutely beautiful 1.5kg of grass fed beef sirloin that I served for guests last Sunday, who loved it. Very high quality and beautiful to eat. I was sceptical of the cooking instructions, being only 30 min for 1.5kg but it was beautifully cooked, pink and moist throughout. I also ordered the beef gravy which was delicious, and a beef bone broth to make a soup with leftovers, and that’s also top notch.
Delivery problem
Having had exceptional service in the past, I was disappointed this time. Our order was mistakenly dispatched a day early, so delivery was scheduled for early morning whilst we were 200 miles away on holiday. Customer service was apologetic but unable to stop it, but could tell DPD to leave it in a safe place. We then had to cut our stay short and rush home. Fortunately, the meat was fine due to the great packaging.
It would have been nice to have been given maybe some Pipers Points as a goodwill gesture.
Poor customer service
Badly let down by DPD - they delivered outside the delivery window and not to my house. Out of hours I couldn't contact Edenmoor and I'm not the DPD customer so won't speak to me. I left a message with Edenmoor immediately, which I think they ignored. A follow up email did receive a response saying they hope I found it. Well, I did, but as it's a meat delivery it needs to be found within the day. It had been delivered to the home of an elderly neighbour who is bedridden with a newly replaced hip. She didn't hear the delivery and wasn't in a position to find it. In the dark I can't call on all my neighbours. The customer service email response was merely to suggest I use a better way of identifying my home. I wasn't angry. These things happen, but that is not a good response. I would like to suggest you contact DPD and ask them not to send out their drivers into unlit rural areas after dark - and I would like to point out our home is central to the hamlet on the main road through it. I would also like to point out not all your customers have good mobile connections and I don't have access to the app you mention. If you valued my custom, you could have spoken to me directly and added my three-words if you felt it necessary. Really not happy. The meat is lovely.

Poor products, even worse customer service
Products fell short of expectation and customer service (James) did not do the company justice on this occasion.
We’ve used Pipers for years, either myself or husband buying and we decided to use them again for our anniversary weekend at home where we would usually go away. We spent £80 on various bits for the weekend and I regret every penny.
The breakfast sausages had amazing reviews but instead of 1 packet of normal sized sausages, we received 2 packets of chipolatas the smallest sausage is 5cm long - it’s laughable. We were not informed in advance, I would have expected to pay less or would have refused them.
The most offensive was paying for a 600g sirloin steak and receiving a 530g one. James offered a fiver to say sorry! The fiver is the money that we are owed for the missing weight, the apology ought to have been something else. I had to go to the butchers to get a proper bit of steak for our anniversary meal that I wish I had just done in the first place.
The sourdough pizza doughs arrived hard and completely dry with an irreparable solid crust on them. They arrived in a paper bag which the black print bled into the pizza dough which hardly seems healthy. We tried to cook 2 (we are well versed in this as usually make our own dough but fancied a bit of a break) however, the other 2 were so hard they had to be binned.
Really, really poor products this time and even worse customer service from James who I see often replies to these reviews.

Ordered a cockerel and it arrived when specified. It was absolutely delicious and will seriously consider ordering the same for this Christmas
I really enjoyed the chicken breasts but not so keen on the venison and duck…
I have been getttinf the organic chicken breasts with skin on and they are the most delicious, the flavour so great and so quick to prepare.’
Not so enthusiastic with the hunch of venison and duck who takes at least 48 h. To defrost contrary to the advices given . These 2 items were nice but bit desapointing as not so much meat as expected. Good job it was just me and my husband having a special meal, bit embarrassing if we were 4 people!
I was really pleased with the venison burgers which are so quick to prepare and taste lovely.
