I bought an Edimax BR6428nS v5 for use as an Access Point - for which it was recommended. It has notbeen a great experience: contrary to the blurb, installation was complex and fraught with problems so is not for teh non-expert. Neither did it prove easily compatiblle with existing technology. Problems have been largely ironed out by employing an IT professional to do the installatio - and he spent nearly 2 hours on it. He wouldn't recommend it and neither do I. Here'shoping that it continues to operate; if it doesn't, I'm buying a different brand.

Tried in vain to re-connect my old Edimax smart plugs, sent technical support 2 e-mails, no reply, needless to say. In the end I gave up and bought 2 new plugs from another supplier.

I got to the website and I bought a signal booster. (So I thought) It took me atleast 5 minutes to set up and when I was done it wasn’t a signal booster. It gave me an actual personal WiFi to use not fitting the description at all.

Purchased an RG21s just over 12 months ago. Within 6 months I was experiencing complete dropout of the 5Ghz Wifi. On reboot it came back. This problem became more frequent upto once a week. Last week I lost wired and wireless connections. After a factory reset, things improved, but random wireless devices couldn't get internet, even though they appear as connected devices. Spent 2 days trying to figure it out. No luck. Put my old router back in place and everything connected immediately. To add to this, the device only had 90 days warranty (from Ebuyer) as it was 'ex-display'.

Personally, I would avoid both Companies. More touble than they are worth.
