EdPlace has been a life saver in my household.
A few signing in problems, but soon sorted.
Would recommend for extra support or Home Education.

Since Edplace did a system update before the summer holidays 2024, it hasn’t been the same. It was really good when we first started using it, however since they did this system update, it doesn’t update the scores or give the same amount of work, we ran out of English already. We now use national oak academy, it’s free and a lot more choice and not one issue and my son has found it much better and no longer wants to use Edplace so I will be cancelling my subscription with them too.

The website is good for assessments and thats all there is on there. The is little work material in terms of resources such as video explaining topics for the child to learn. In terms of actual learning, you will have to read the topic , look at the assessment questions then teach the child yourself. They do offer online tuition classes at a additional cost of £25, but these are for year 8 and above.

It is a good website for my kid to practice at home whenever is free, but there is one issue which i hope the company will look into it, my kid encountered a few questions with wrong answers, he told me he submitted the problem, but am not sure if Edplace respond normally? Hope you guys will look into it!

I used Edplace to supplement homework with my Year 6 - Year 7 child, mostly for English. The customer services are excellent and really helpful. The activities are well-pitched and provide excellent feedback. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this app to other parents.

Easy for kids to be self sufficient using the app. Handy weekly report showing what your child has completed. Subjects ordered well.
However, no clear pathway based on child’s needs - just a large choice to choose from. A connected pathway would be more useful like in The Maths Factor. I end up just randomly assigning ones I think my child would benefit from and not easy to see if they have previously been completed.

During my search for online schooling I found EdPlace. My daughter is 12 years old and has been home schooled for the past 4 years. During this time my daughter has used other websites to help with learning, however there has been no website as informal as EdPlace. The website is easy to navigate and has a wide range of subjects.
With many plans available we originally started with free subjects and now have the paid version. My daughter has been enjoying working online and we are now considering group sessions.
If your child is having any issues with subjects at school or during home schooling don't hesitate to sign up and see what EdPlace has to offer. You won't be disappointed !
I would definitely recommend EdPlace to other Parents wanting to give their children an extra boost in their learning.

Autorenewal of £99.99!? Ridiculous. My child only used it for a couple of months and found the information on the app to be incorrect so the frustration put her off learning and she gave up. NOW it's autorenewed and taken £99.99 from my card!

Endless answers are wrong and frustrate the student. It is a very overrated platform and seriously lacks professionalism when it comes to providing carefully checked answers to test.
It will make your child upset and hate their school work.

An excellent way for my daughter to learn at her own pace, whilst I keep an eye on her capabilities as well as areas she needs more focus. I set her assignments and get clear, instant results once completed. The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is because there are currently ongoing issues with the app, meaning that all assignments need to be completed via desktop, in order to save. Once this problem has been resolved, I will be giving EdPlace the 5 star rating it deserves.

I got this app for my 10 year old granddaughter and she absolutely loves it! It makes learning so much fun.

I wanted to cancel the subscription annually, I emailed them well before the period expiring. No answer. I emailed them 5 times after they took the money. No answer! Really has customer service.

It's easy to sign up and very straightforward to use. My daughter has finally started enjoying learning again and loves that it's graded as she goes. I can see what's been completed and when. It's changed home learning instantly. I'd highly recommend to anyone.

Only been using this platform for a short while and so far it has been incredible to see where my son is at and being notified when work is complete. the work is tailored to the individual and also teachers assigning work. I find this platform one of the best that works with my child.

This is our first time using and we have found it very simple to allocate and complete tasks as parent and student. It would be great if it could do foreign languages and other subjects so that we could aim for 6-7 subjects but all in all very good.

Worth every penny as my boys are home learners and since using EdPlace, they are already showing progress in areas they were struggling in.
We started off with back to school assessments so we could find out what areas they needed help and they love being able to work at their own pace.
They both enjoy the app and how easy it is to navigate and if they accidentally come out of an assessment or work that they are currently in, it automatically saves their work unlike some apps that will make you start from the beginning.

Affordable and really easy to use. You can chose your own topics or follow the national curriculum so you know your child is at the same point as children receiving education in schools.
