0 Stars – Incorrect Measurements & Predatory 30% "Fee" If I could give zero stars, I would. This has been the worst retail experience I have ever encountered. Warning: Do not buy from Elegant Showers.
1. False Advertising: The shower screen measurements do not match the online description. The glass was incorrect, and the floor bracket was 40cm too short. This was a "Not as Described" issue, yet the seller dishonestly labelled it as a "Change of Mind".
2. Predatory Refund Policy: Despite the product being faulty/incorrect and returned in original, unused condition, they withheld 30% of my money ($55.50) as a "repackaging fee". This was never disclosed at the time of purchase and is an unconscionable penalty.
3. Appalling Service: I drove across town to their Dandenong warehouse to resolve this. The staff was extremely rough and unfriendly and refused to provide any documentation confirming the goods were returned in perfect condition.
4. No Documentation: They refused to provide a tax invoice or delivery papers, which is a massive red flag for any business.
They now have my money AND the product back to resell. This is "daylight robbery".

We strongly dispute the claims made in this review and would like to clarify the facts.
At no point did you provide us with any photos or measurements to demonstrate that the size supplied was incorrect. You are now stating that the measurements were wrong, however there is no evidence provided to support this claim.
The item you returned was simply repackaged and sent back to our warehouse. Once a glass shower screen has been opened and an installation has been attempted, it cannot be resold as new for safety and compliance reasons. For this reason, the applicable surcharge was deducted in line with our returns policy.
You requested a return form, and we provided it to you. The return was processed according to the information supplied at the time. The item was not classified as “Not as Described” because no proof was provided to demonstrate a manufacturing fault or incorrect dimensions.
Regarding documentation, all tax invoices and order confirmations are automatically issued at the time of purchase.
We reject the allegation that we are reselling used goods. Any returned glass that has been opened or installation attempted cannot be sold as new stock.

The shower is a quality product and looks extremely professional. I would have given a five star rating but the instructions are poorly written and would be difficult to interpret for the average person.

have had a really good experience with elegant Bathrooms. From the front desk being very knowledgeable about the product to the promptness of organising and delivering the product to me in South Australia Australia I had it I Think in four business days. Upon unpacking and fitting the product I found it to be of excellent quality and I will certainly use this company again.

Good product and good materials
Good product and good materials. Printed Instructions could be clearer including how to obtain initial set-out distances on walls. Cross-referencing with online video made construction easier.

Excellent service and good price. We ordered 2 shower screens to be delivered to Adelaide. The first one arrived after about 5 days. When I contacted Clara to inform her that only 1 had arrived, she immediately organised for the second to be dispatched and it was received within 2 days!

One screen has already been fitted, and for the price, it's a good product.
