I invested in two Elvie pumps as I thought they would be the best on the market due to their higher price. However I’m not impressed as I’ve had constant issues and constantly speaking to their custom... See more

We bought a breast pump beginning of February 2 weeks later it broke. Through a very awkward and difficult returns policy we returned it. It is now 2 months later and we still have no refund. Customer service is terrible. Please be careful when considering an elvie breast pump

I am very disappointed that my pump stopped working after only 11 days of use. They told me that they are not going to replace the faulty part which is very inconsiderate since it is quite expensive. With that price tag, you would expect better quality and service! Completely unacceptable!

Went for an Elvie pump despite the astronomical cost and it broke within the first three weeks of use. I have been waiting for 3 days already for my replacement to be sent under warranty and have just learned that there is an issue with their warehouse which means it hasn’t even been dispatched and they have no idea when it will arrive. Meanwhile I’m struggling with engorgement and oversupply. Customer service full of empty platitudes about how they care about “supporting women” yet can’t actually do anything to help. Useless. Put your money elsewhere

Our Elvie cups don’t close properly, which causes us to frequently lose milk. We didn’t realize this was a defect until we saw how other cups are supposed to work when used by a friend. That’s when we concluded ours must be faulty—possibly part of a bad batch.
We reached out to support hoping to resolve the issue under warranty, but unfortunately, Elvie does not replace cups that are more than 90 days old. What’s most frustrating is that the warranty terms are not clearly displayed on the Amazon product page—they’re only available on Elvie’s own website.
We bought the product in October, but since our daughter wasn’t born until February, we didn’t discover the issue until April—well past the 90-day window. So we were left with defective, unusable cups and no support.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if a product is faulty within the first six months, customers are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement. And we notified the issue within 6 months.
This experience has been deeply disappointing. It feels like Elvie relies on customers not noticing issues until it’s too late. I wouldn’t recommend their products to anyone after this.

Terrible customer service. Our pump failed and was unreliable. When speaking to the customer service team we kept getting pushed around to different departments with no one coming back to us. Nothing was resolved. Useless. Do not buy!

I have been a customer for many years now, having purchased Elvie double pumps for two separate deliveries and then more recently an Elvie Trainer. Each time if I had any issues and had to get assistance, the customer support was always quick to respond and so helpful. I will always recommend Elvie products not only because I believe and have experienced the quality items they produce, but also because of the way they stand behind their products and support the customer.
Appalling customer service, I think they have forgotten that their products are for breastfeeding and think you can just wait 11 days and still not have a delivery date...like this has no impact on feeding a child. I am waiting for accessories for the pump to be delivered, I am now giving up and buying a different brand pump as I cannot wait any longer. It's ridiculous I have never known a company when you have paid and ordered an item and they are not able to provide a delivery date. They have still not confirmed cancellation and refund.
Terribly pump, extremely unreliable, avoid.
I have been using the elvie pump for less than 3 months and it has been a very stressful and unreliable experience. I have had to spend so much time trying to figure out the alignment to get any suction. I have the double pump and both pumps stopped suctioning within a month of use. They replaced my first pump (hub) but then 2 weeks ago the second one stopped suctioning and I have been chasing them for a replacement which they eventually agreed to but now they are having supplier issues and have not sent out the replacement after 10 days.
For such a critical device their customer service is completely useless. They continuously repeat the same sentence which is very frustrating and almost as if you are speaking to a bot.
I have had to go out and buy another pump because obviously my baby cannot wait for their supplier issues to be resolved before he can be fed. They are refusing to give me a refund even though the product is still under warranty. It’s appalling really. I will continue to push for a refund as this is our legal right under consumer act 2015 (UK). They seem to want to run their business illegally.
I reported an issue with my Elvie breast pump over a week ago, and I still haven’t received a replacement or any news about when it will occur. Even more frustrating is the fact that the pump broke down after only three months of use.
To make matters worse, you're required to go through their website to request a replacement. For a product that’s supposed to support breastfeeding, the lack of urgency is unacceptable. This delay is putting my ability to breastfeed at serious risk.
This is an expensive product, and I expected much better. Elvie has completely failed to deliver the level of service and support that mothers need.
The connectivity is dreadful. I put the machine ON MY PHONE and it says it's not close enough. Stops regularly in the middle of exercises too. Also customer service is dreadful. Constantly says "approx waiting time 5 minutes"... but still no contact after half an hour
Absolutely shocking experience. My Stride broke within a week of purchase and Elvie's response has been absolutely shocking. I was pleased when they offered to replacement the broken part, however when I followed up a week later having heard nothing since, I was told that my replacement had not yet left the warehouse. Elvie were unable to explain the delay and have been ridiculously unhelpful in getting the issue resolved. I am still waiting for the part to be dispatched, and Elvie are yet to offer any explanation. In fact, their responses have been quite patronising. I exclusively pump and have found this situation to be unnecessarily stressful-somthing that as a new mum I really don't need. Elvie really don't understand their target market and just don't seem to care about how their failures impact their customers. I have ended up buying a different electric pump as I have lost all faith in Elvie actually replacing my faulty part. Avoid this company-I certainly won't be buying from them again.
What went wrong? Everything. I bought the double Elvie set 5 months ago. Since then I’ve had to have FIVE electric hub replacements and am still waiting on the last two which are late. They break so easily and customer service was so poor it left me in tears. Avoid.
Had a problem with a brand new pump and they sent me replacement parts right away. Great service.
The Elvie representative was friendly and helpful! She sent me a replacement part that got to me within a couple days.

I cannot rate Elvie customer service highly enough!
They know their customer and know what state they're likely to be in when they need help. When my device malfunctioned a day before my little one was due to start nursery, they helped me confirm the warranty, sent me a new one and sent new parts to get the pumper back up and running. Parts were sent quickly and my issue was resolved.

Support was excellent. They solved the issue in seconds. I was impressed to be honest.

Simple and easy to use. Very good service from ordering to next day delivery. So minimum delay for our newborn. Feels like a quality product too. My wife says it works well and was able to comfortably wear and express sufficient amounts of milk.

I am beyond frustrated with Elvie and their complete disregard for consumer rights. As a mum who exclusively expresses, I rely on my pumps daily—so when mine stopped working after just three months, it was incredibly stressful.
Despite the pumps being under warranty, Elvie initially refused to issue a refund, claiming they had been used—completely ignoring the fact that they failed due to a fault, not misuse. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if a product is faulty within the first six months, customers are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement, yet Elvie tried to dismiss their responsibility.
After pushing back, they finally agreed to refund, but weeks later, I am still waiting for the prepaid return label they promised. Their customer service is appalling, with emails ignored and no urgency to resolve the issue.
This has caused unnecessary stress and a huge financial burden. I had to pay for new pumps out of pocket and even had to rush out just before shops closed when my faulty Elvie pumps failed unexpectedly. No mum should have to deal with this level of stress, inconvenience, and financial loss over a product that was supposed to be covered under warranty.
Elvie’s refusal to uphold basic consumer rights and their shocking lack of customer support make them a company to avoid. If you expect reliable products or fair treatment under UK consumer law, do not buy from Elvie.
