Too many people and not many machines and they don’t provide drinking water.

Local resident, joined and left this gym within the space of a month. Three main issues I encountered:
1. Direct debit setup and manner in which the issue was handled when the company was at fault (they insisted I could pay by card instead, which as far as subscriptions go, they are set up as a recurring charge on your debit or credit card as opposed to a direct debit which will not have a recurring charge, so you can cancel a direct debit directly with your bank, so keep this in mind as this gym has plenty of reviews that confirm customers having overpayment issues and difficulty in getting their money back).
2. Access to 7 days advance booking which is advertised as such, and forms part of the WOW membership. Complete and utter lack of professionalism when contacting the gym for support, and dealing with this reoccurring issue which blocked me from booking classes in advance (service I paid for and did not receive). I contacted the Énergie Fitness App support and was advised to reach out to the gym directly as this was an issue because of the way class bookings were set up in the system by the actual gym.
3. Lack of professionalism, greed and pugnacious behaviour
They will do everything they can to actively discourage you from exercising or going in, because they care more about their bottom line (money) than your health.
After numerous failed attempts to advance book classes (and missing out on said classes because they were booked in advance by other WOW members), I cancelled my membership.
The idea is simple: when you go to the gym, you cost that gym money. Money because they need to staff the gym with trainers, admins etc., money because using the equipment wears it out over time, money hot water and rent (there is no air conditioning or a water cooler so good luck breathing throughout your workouts).
If you pay on time every month and never go in, you'll fit right in.

Very friendly staff and great machines. lovely atmosphere too
Why don't the windows open for at least 5 minutes? Does everyone sweat when are training and does it cause the smell of sweat. Why sometimes not enough hand wipes? Also everything else is fine

No windows for fresh air, no free filtered water to refill and very small gym space

Lockers don't lock.showers are filthy. Always waiting to use equipment. Staff are never on the floor always locked away in the office.

New back to the gym. Would recommended the kickstart if out of the gym for time. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, can't praise them enough. Did me up a plan to introduce me back to the gym after been injured for so long. Showed me all the equipment and how to use them with additional help from online tutorials.
Happy with the gym, the only thing is people have no common sense to clean their sweat after their workout, the puddles of their sweat makes me vomit. In Covid pandemic people learned to wash their hands, hopefully in the next one they will learn to clean their sweats off machines 🤞
it is very hot in the gym, there is no air conditioning system or it works very poorly.
The eleptic trainer and the weight machine have not been working for more than 2 weeks, and since there is not much equipment in the gym, this interferes with a quality workout.

Positives - Great atmosphere to work out, nice bright facility. Staff friendly. Simple and quick joining process.
Negatives - Not enough equipment. Shower facilities poor. Not enough seats or bench space in changing rooms. Toilet facilities never clean. Why do staff not enforce the rule of returning weights and dumbells to their racks? It’s impossible to find anything…other gyms enforce this rule for the benefit of members
I work out in gyms all over the world constantly with my career. This gym is a 5 out of 10 for its industry level and target market.
Overall my experience is positive,

The space available for exercise and equipment availability. The writings on the wall also inspires me
Ridiculous membership freeze and cancellation policies. Their billing system is very annoying. I want to cancel my membership that is on freeze since I wasn't using it and not going to use anymore since I am moving. However, I can't cancel my membership until the freeze is over and I pay a month's fee just to cancel the membership. How unfair that I have to pay for the service for the period I did not or won't be using. Also, I can't get it over with. I need to keep in mind and wait for the freeze to be over just to cancel the membership.

Absolute KIP staff are rude and have not got a clue.. The manager (girl) has no customer skills at all.. They blocked me from having a membership because I was getting overcharged on my direct debits and was questioning it.. They try make out as if the client is the problem.. Equipment is rubbish always broken cold showers no hot water.. Overcharge on payments… Rude staff.. And personal trainers that haven’t a clue how to train or train people all they want to do is take your money avoid this Gym at all costs you would get a better experience training in a field

the gym is good, it has a nice location... but it is a little beyond the value, due to its size and lack of some equipment for the leg and for not being so spacious, not having a swimming pool. It's cool but everything could be better and more affordable price and complete appliances

It is very clean space and i have many machines for using, which is great!❤️
Member of staff Tracey is very rude dealing with the customers. She was talking on the phone with a raised voice and hung up the phone in the middle of a conversation. Staff like Tracey who has a temper and has no patience, shouldn't be dealing with customers at all.
I was a member for a few years, not a big choice was in this area so the gym was ok. Shop around before joining the gym, there are few in this area now. For a little bit extra you’ll have better facilities, better equipment and more space.
